1972 Jaguar XKE E-Type SERIES III V12 2+2
THIS 1972 JAGUAR E-TYPE SERIES III V12 2+2 REPRESENTS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO ACQUIRE AN EXCEPTIONAL INVESTMENT
Sweet V12 5.3L Classic Jaguar, 1972 E-Type series 3 coupe, representing an opportunity to acquire an investment while enjoying great fun and the thrill of owning and driving one of the greatest classic cars.
Unique Red on Red combination with matching numbers.
Desirable 4 speed with original factory wire spoke wheels and White wall tires (matching new spare).
Nice straight car in great condition with Red-Burgundy exterior with no notable blemishes to mention and matching Red interior with minimal wear. The original chrome bumpers have minor pitting. I believe this car was repainted by previous owner (keeping ordinal color and looking at it, by professionals as it still looks great after more than 19 years).
66k original miles with recent total engine /engine bay/suspension/steering, rear-end assembly and 4 speed gearbox rebuilds (New clutch) using original equipment by professional engineer and Jaguar enthusiast and all in last 1k miles. Underside recently detailed and all brake lines replaced with stainless.
I originally purchased this vehicle while living in North Carolina and have always kept it in my dry garage /heated-cooled basement, so no rust and nothing to hide. Photos’ show floor pans, trunk floor and hood hinge points in great clean condition.
All original equipment, apart from an aftermarket Crane Electric ignition system, original is still on vehicle for clarity.
All gauges, heater, original factory radio and Air Conditioning work apart from Clock, which can be sporadic in keeping time!
Currently I am the second owner having had the car for over 19 years, where this vehicles condition is beautiful and a rust free example and a joyful driving experience and truly pampered. It still has its original interior in good condition, which if desirable, can easily be replaced to make a pristine example and boost your investment.
Winning bidder pays $1,000.00 non-returnable deposit via PAYPAL within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Balance to be paid within 7 days by bank wire transfer before pick-up or in cash on pick-up.

Porsche, Jaguar continue dominance in 2015 JD Power APEAL study
Wed, Jul 22 2015The top of JD Power's 2015 APEAL Study has not changed much in the last year. Porsche remains No. 1 with Jaguar nipping at its heels, although both premium brands saw their overall score fall compared to 2014. For those that need a refresher, the APEAL Study looks at how "gratifying" a vehicle is to own and drive, rating cars and brands on a 1,000-point scale. The industry average for 2015 has increased from 794 to 798, while the total number of automakers that finished above the curve increased from 16 to 20. While Porsche and Jaguar finished at the top, their scores dropped eight and seven points, respectively, to 874 and 855. The top "non-premium" brand was Mini, which scored an impressive 825, up from 795. If the BMW-owned British marque is still a bit too premium for your tastes, last year's non-premium winner, Hyundai, did climb five points and is this year's runner up. At the opposite end of the scale, Smart sits at the very bottom of the rankings, with a score of 683 (it didn't appear on the 2014 rankings). Fiat also dropped, from fourth worst in 2014 to second worst in 2015, despite the 500 being named most appealing city car. Subaru made an impressive climb, from third worst to seventh, falling just 10 points shy of the industry average and two points south of the non-premium average. In the individual vehicle segments, eight brands earned multiple awards, with Ford, Chevrolet, and Porsche earning three apiece. Surprise segment victories included the new Ford Expedition, which beat out Chevy's popular Suburban. The Infiniti QX80 bested the likes of the Cadillac Escalade and Range Rover for best large luxury SUV, and the Dodge Challenger beat its muscle car rivals from Ford and Chevy. Most of the victories, though, were quite predictable. The Mazda6 and CX-5 took wins for the midsize sedan and compact SUV categories respectively, while the Volkswagen Golf captured the compact car win. The Ford F-150 won the large pickup category, while the Porsche Cayman was named most appealing compact premium sporty car. Check out the official release on the 2015 APEAL Study, available below, from JD Power. 2015 U.S. APEAL Study Results The latest safety-related technologies are among the drivers of customer satisfaction with new vehicles, according to the J.D. 2017 Jaguar Model Year Preview and Updates
Wed, Mar 1 2017Jaguar, the upscale Brit, is currently enjoying a resurgence in the US, built on an improved value proposition, credible quality, better reliability, and an expanded lineup. That larger lineup now includes an all-new XE four door sedan and Jaguar's first crossover, the F-Pace - pictured above. JAGUAR F-TYPE: An entry-level F-Type has been added to the lineup, improving its accessibility by some $3,600 on the F-Type coupe and roughly $2,700 for the F-Type convertible. XE: Jaguar's compact four door is all-new, and intended to make headway into the sport sedan market long dominated by BMW's 3 Series and, more recently, Audi's A4. The XE brings a tightly drawn platform, responsive drive character and three powertrains to the table, including a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel. It is on sale now. XF: Jaguar's midsize 'saloon' adds a 2.0-liter turbodiesel to its menu, along with Configurable Dynamics. This optional package allows individual settings for suspension, steering, throttle and transmission. XJ: Jaguar's 2017 XJ builds on the 2016 refresh with the addition of new colors and wheels. F-Pace: Jaguar's first crossover has everything it needs to compete with Porsche's Macan, BMW's X3/X5 and M-B's GLC/GLE. As this suggests, the F-Pace is a 'tweener, sitting between compact and midsize crossovers. It seats five, and is available with either a 2.0-liter turbodiesel or supercharged V6. The line starts at your local Jaguar showroom.
Jaguar F-Type Coupe patent images exposed, 4-cyl coming?
Fri, 03 May 2013Last year, Jaguar told us that "if you get a convertible right, it's easy to do a coupe" in reference to a coupe version of the Jaguar F-Type, and now we might be seeing our first unofficial look at a hardtop version of the convertible. The German publication Auto Motor und Sport has dug up what it is reporting to be patent images filed by Jaguar showing the lines of the new coupe.
If these are actually patent drawings, they have definitely been enhanced with color and shadowing compared to what we usually see from OEM patent filings. We wouldn't be surprised if they are just altered images of Jaguar's C-X16 Concept, but either way, it's going to be a sharp car. On top of the new coupe, the article also says that the F-Type could be getting the same 240-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is currently used in the Jaguar XF, as well as the Land Rover LR2 and Range Rover Evoque.
