On Aug-19-14 at 07:50:13 PDT, seller added the following information: The previous owner of this vehicle damaged the front end back in the late 60's or early 70's. He then tried to use it without the bonnet by adding fenders radiator and lights. Then the clutch went out so he left it sit outside and lost the top and interior. My dad purchased it in the early to mid 70's and it has been stored since. I did not find a number on the engine or the frame, don't know where to look. The serial # is 877702 On Aug-22-14 at 20:11:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I found the engine number, EBAY will not let me add the picture. The number is R 6604-9 same as on the plate. The frame number is missing as that is part of the frame that was damaged. On Aug-25-14 at 10:35:29 PDT, seller added the following information: Looked further into the title process. Colorado DMV does not have any record back to 1979 when the car was last registered. I do not have a copy of the registration and I do not have a title number. The only way I can get a title at this time, because the car is not road worthy, is to get a new salvage title. That would require a Surety Bond, 3% of car value, and about three weeks. This would allow the car to be shipped out of the US. If the buyer is in the US the car can be transferred with a Bill of Sale, then when the car is road worthy it can be titled with a new clean title after a title search is completed in Colorado. |

Jay Leno drives the Jaguar F-Type Project 7
Tue, Sep 22 2015Even for Jay Leno, Monterey Car Week is a special experience. After all, his collection is absolutely massive, but vehicles show up for this exclusive event on the California peninsula that even Jay doesn't know about. He's giving us a just a tiny taste of this year's event in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage. The majority of this clip is dedicated to an in-depth look at the Jaguar F-Type Project 7, and Jay gets the details direct from designer Ian Callum. The two of them are old friends after doing the 2014 Mille Miglia together in a Jaguar XK120. After getting a mountain of info about the inspiration behind this special F-Type, they go for a ride on some beautiful California roads to listen to the wonderful, crackling exhaust. Following the drive, Jay finds a racecar from the teens that he is completely unfamiliar with. Thankfully, the mechanic is nearby to shed some light on this rarity. We hope there're more videos to come about Leno's visit to Monterey Car Week, but hopefully his team can fix some of the sound issues in this clip.

Aston and Jag from James Bond Spectre have at it
Sun, May 3 2015Daniel Craig hasn't made a bad James Bond film yet. Spectre is his next step into the iconic role that's due to hit theaters on November 6, and it doesn't look likely to ruin his streak. Still, that's a long wait for such an exciting movie. If you're willing to possibly spoil just a little for yourself, a new featurette shows part of one of the big car chases right now. From what we've seen so far, the chase through Rome in Spectre has earned a good amount of screen time. While the reason for it in the plot is a mystery, that doesn't really matter anyway. What's important is that the scene stars Bond in the Aston Martin DB10 and a villain played by Dave Bautista in the now supercharged V8-powered version of the Jaguar C-X75 racing around the Italian capital's tight streets at night. This clip gives a glimpse at some of the work necessary to get the difficult filming completed. We've seen some of that effort before, though, when footage of the preparation for one shot leaked out. Craig reportedly sustained a pretty bad bump on the head during the shooting, and an earlier rumor also suggested that Bond might get behind the wheel of a Fiat 500 at some point in the scene.
