1972 International Scout II. This vehicle will turn some heads! I purchased this vehicle about 6 years ago from the owner of KC Classic Auto in Kansas and he told me he restored it for himself but that it was too nice to drive on his farm so he was selling it. I have a large file full of receipts and info on the work he performed. I have since had a 4" skyjacker lift and new tires, a new safari soft top, a full stainless exhaust system all installed professionally. In the 6 years I have owned it, it has been garage kept and regularly maintained with oil changes and inspections and recently a new battery.

When I purchased it, he told me it needed a new heater core and new vent hoses if I wanted heat and AC. I never fooled with having this repair done because I generally drive it in fair weather. It has locking front hubs and working optional 4WD. With its 4 speed manual transmission this thing will climb anything. I have a matching white painted hard top that I can include. There is a little rust under the floor pans of driver and passenger but other than that it is very solid. There is a surface scuff in paint on passenger door but it is otherwise in great cosmetic shape. This vehicle is mechanically very sound and reliable and will start up and run every single time. Other than the occasional oil drip that needs to be chased down and something tightened I have not had any mechanical issues or challenges. If you are looking for a Scout II that you can take off road or enjoy with your family immediately, you may want to consider this one.
