Hi, I bought this Scout a few months ago from Ohio. Drove it back to New York with no incidents aside from a blown water pump that was promptly replaced. Since then I've barely driven it. It just requires more love and attention than I can give it. The car was repainted to it's original color. The seats have been re-upholstered before I bought it. I had new brakes installed, as well as, new exhaust, new tires, new water pump, 3 point seat belt (not great), roll bar. Rebuilt carburetor, new master cylinder, new radiator, new fuel tank and sending unit, new steering column. Original hubcaps. It has 138000 miles on it.V8 engine. Excellent driving condition. This car is in a great shape and has no mechanical problems as far as I know.

When the water pump blew, the cooling liquid splattered all over the engine and the hood (see photos). The driver's sun visor is held up with a rubber band. When it rains there's a small leak on the driver side. The radio doesn't work. A/C and heat work well.
