You are looking at a great 1974 International Scout 2. This is THE Scout to own. Rugged yet sleek. Runs beautifully and turns many heads when driving down the road.
The Good: Rebuilt original engine painted in signature International red (strong 345 V8 engine) Rebuilt Carburetor New Paint job in 2010-2012 BMW metallic color "Tasman" (consistently gets positive comments) Redone interior New Tires New Bucket Seats Hard Top, Interior bed, front grille and Bumpers Coated in Dupli-Color/Dupont Kevlar Bed Armor New Rear Drum Brakes Shifts Well 99% Rust Free Dual exhaust (sounds amazing) 4x4 Heat The hood needs a minor adjustment which I will do. Needs by my account: Weather Stripping Kit Dash gauge cover Dash gauge electronics could use some love. 2 in x 2 in rust spot by the front of the rear bench seat which has been contained with bed armor Hard top upper-tailgate door does not stay up on its own No sound system (but then again who needs one when you've got a beautiful sounding V8) |
