I am selling my project rig since I have no time to complete it. The vehicle is a 1980 Scout II with a Nissan 3.3 Liter Turbo Diesel. It has around 150,000 original miles on it. It had an overheating issue which has been fixed. I replaced the radiator, thermostat, and bought a water pump to put in as well...then I decided to put the Cummins in and stopped working on it. The current sensor and Temp Gauge appear to be intermittently not working. The turbo is not working fully and has some blow-by. To make it a daily driver it would need the turbo to be rebuilt, new sensors and replace gauges (included), and electrical thermostat wired to radiator fans (also included).
I have a Cummins B3.3T that I planned on installing and pulling the original Nissan. That is for sale SEPARATELY if you want to go that route. The previous owner had a bunch done to it, and I have continued the work.
Here is a quick list of the rig: Within the last 9,000 miles: - Dana 44 front and rear, completely rebuilt including hubs - Dana 300 Transfer Case rebuilt - T19 transmission rebuilt - Brand New Clutch installed - New front and rear brakes - New full roll cage - New 3 point seat belts in all four corners, lap in middle bench - New CD player with Amplifier and Nice Speakers - Custom front and rear bumpers with Winch Plate for Warn Mounts - New Poly Fuel Tank with new sender - New fuel lines and filter for Bio Diesel - New Oil Filter adapter for easy oil changes - New 100 Amp alternator - New Soft Top - BFG All Terrain TA/KO in 31 x 10.5 on new wheels ( full size spare ) - New Heavy Duty Radiator and Electric Fans (needs thermostat installed, included) - New Rough Country 2.5" lift ( including add-a-leaf in rear) with shocks and steering stabilizer - New Yakima Heavy Duty Roof Rack with Shovel and Axe Carrier Parts: - Complete Painless Wiring Harness - Complete Dash Panel with all the gauges - Brand new water pump Nissan - Full 6 foot roof rack with shovel and axe mount - Braided Stainless Steel Brake Lines - Door Lock Cylinders - High Lift Jack - Spare Jerry Can - Tons more I can't remember Here are most of the pics I have.
