I am selling a 2001 Infiniti QX4. This car is being sold as part of an estate sale. It has a clean title (no liens or anything), never in any type of accident, and has always been babied. It has had only one elderly owner, and only 56K original miles. The outside is silver, and the inside is black. The car has all options and is fully loaded- full leather interior, all power interior, woodgrain interior, roof rack, xenon lights, memory seats, bose sound system, CD changer/cassette, keyless entry, alarm, etc. It is in great mechanical condition and has always been serviced by the owner. Newer tires on the car, wheel alignment just done, new rotors. It really needs nothing, and will drive you anywhere. EXTERIOR: The outside of the car is in excellent condition. It was garaged most of its life, except for the past few years on and off.There's no dents/scratches, nothing like that. Only a couple of minor bumper scuffs on the rear bumper (pictured) and some sap marks on the hood. Paint is overall very glossy and looks beautiful! INTERIOR: The interior of the car is in excellent condition as well. The leather seats all look great, heat is hot/AC is cold, and all power/electronic options work as they should (except 6 CD player. One CD apparently got jammed in it). MECHANICALLY Let me first start out by saying that I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car tomorrow from New York to Florida and then back. Given the mileage and condition, you can be assured it is in excellent shape mechanically. The car has always been looked upon and does not currently need anything. Maintenance has always been kept on it, and it's ready to go anywhere. As a final note, all I can say is that this car is in excellent condition all around. If you're looking for a very well maintained and ultra-low mileage Infiniti QX4 that was babied from day one, this is it. Please know the car is being sold AS-IS without any warranty implied or expressed. Understand that this is a used older car, so don't expect it to be perfect. Infiniti cribs new US boss from Porsche
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Just weeks before he was supposed to become CEO of Porsche Cars Australia, Infiniti has apparently offered Porsche COO and Executive Vice President Michael Bartsch a deal he couldn't refuse. Thus, Bartsch has join the company as Vice President of Infiniti Americas, the luxury marque's top North American post. Bartsch replaces Ben Poore, who has been with the automaker since 2008, having led both a 22-percent sales surge in 2012 and the brand's current sales slough, Automotive News reports.
Bartsch, Porsche's No. 2 US executive, has held the COO and Executive Vice President positions at Porsche since 2005 and was scheduled to become CEO of Porsche's Oz division on September 1. Infiniti has experienced a number of recent personnel changes in the past week: it named Vincent Gillet, formerly an executive for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, to lead its marketing efforts worldwide and Simon Cox, a former designer for automakers including Ford and Peugeot, to head a new design studio in London.
Poore reportedly will pursue other interests outside of the auto industry. Read more about the personnel change in the press release below.

Infiniti plans overhaul of infotainment system by 2021
Fri, Apr 6 2018Infiniti is working on a fully overhauled infotainment system starting in 2021 that will feature bigger displays but retain the current dual-touchscreen setup. In the meantime, upgrades including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity will be added to existing systems starting next year, depending on the market. "Next year is going to be the first step of improvement," Infiniti's vice president of product strategy, Francois Bancon, told Australian outlet GoAuto. "And as we move forward with a bigger display, 12.0-inch, 15.0-inch, whatever, of course we are going to improve the accuracy." He also indicated that "only the media" complains about the dual-screen display and that customer feedback has been strong. "The appearance of the system, for example in QX50, which is the same as in Q50, we're not going to change. But we just redesign the whole system behind more capacity, faster reaction time, high-definition display and full connectivity." So the new system will keep the dual-screen setup, which today involves the top screen handling mostly navigation and redundant audio information while the lower screen is used to control vehicle, phone and audio functions (see the below video for more info on how it works). The QX50, which goes on sale in the United States later this year, will also be the first Infiniti to get a 9-inch color head-up display on the windshield, plus smartphone mirroring and data-derived weather and other apps. The rollout of a new infotainment system coincides with Infiniti's plan to build its first all-electric car in 2021 and release hybrids based on Nissan's e-Power technology. Parent company Nissan has said it wants to sell 1 million electric vehicles annually by 2022. Related Video:
