button without the need of going into some complicated touchscreen menu like
other cars do.

A note about the history of the car: I'm the second owner and purchased the car
in 2012 from insurance company. First owner purchased the car with every single
option available in the price list, but it had accident in the front right
corner in the first year of ownership. I got the car fixed by a professional
body shop.It passed state inspection and enjoyed it over 3 years now. The car
has clean title with previously rebuild note. Even it this case I just had all
sensors, catalytic converters etc.replaced under warranty by Infiniti due to
recall ($3500 job). The car has been meticulously serviced with oil changes
every 3000 miles with full synthetic 5w30 Castrol Edge platinum. It has two K&N
engine air filters, that were washed with every oil change. It has been driven
only on premium 93 gasoline. 10K miles ago I have installed brand new 19"
Infiniti sports wheels, OEM Sports Brake kit with all brand new vented rotors,
pads and calipers.Brake fluid was flushed as well. New Continental Extreme
Contact DWS tires were installed. Car was just checked and serviced by Kelly
Infiniti in Boston. All records and invoices are kept and the car is prepared to
be driven years and thousands of miles in the future without any worries. I love
this car and have postponed the sale for long time, but we are buying a house
and I have already 2 other cars.Reasonable offers will be considered, but you
need to see and drive the car in person to appreciate it. It looks, drives and
feels literally brand new.

MotorWeek revisits 1990 Infiniti Q45

Sat, Aug 8 2015

With the one-two punch of the Lexus LS 400 and Infiniti Q45 in the early '90s, Japanese automakers started taking the fight directly to the established V8-powered German flagships on American roads. Here, we get MotorWeek's take on the latter and probably lesser known of those luxury sedans. While not so impressive today, the Q45's 4.5-liter V8 with 278 horsepower and 292 pound-feet of torque was pretty good by the contemporary standards. The big sedan was also offered with an optional all-wheel steering system that made the model quite a capable handler. The rear end even stepped out a just little during MotorWeek's slalom. Unfortunately, styling is very polarizing with these early sedans. Where the early LS looks planted with its big, chunky lines on the outside, the Infiniti is a bit more delicate. The design just doesn't scream about being a flagship sedan. The interior doesn't help sell the car as the top of luxury, either. While MotorWeek likes some of the amenities inside, there are complains about the reused switches from the Nissan Maxima and the extensive use of plastic, rather than wood. With Infiniti now having its sights on the global premium market and soon entering the compact segment, it's fascinating to see the very roots of the brand.

Infiniti signs four-year deal to become title sponsor of Red Bull Racing

Thu, 29 Nov 2012

The chief of Infiniti's Formula One motorsport involvement, Andreas Sigl, said just last week that the brand was "going longer and deeper" into its collaboration with Red Bull, and the proof has already come: the Japanese luxury brand has signed a four-year deal to become the title sponsor of Red Bull Racing. From next year the team will be Infiniti Red Bull Racing.
The move cements Infiniti's intention to make the most of the already-ongoing technical collaboration it has had with Red Bull Racing for two years - this year Milton Keynes team has been testing Infiniti's Scratch Heal paint for aero properties and during the young driver test it used KERS batteries that were wholly developed by Infiniti's parent company, Nissan.
Earning a tip of the hat for not giving into cheap-trick branding, the engines will continue to be branded as Renault. Renault/Nissan CEO does not "want any confusion within the Alliance as to who does what."

Infiniti cribs new US boss from Porsche

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

Just weeks before he was supposed to become CEO of Porsche Cars Australia, Infiniti has apparently offered Porsche COO and Executive Vice President Michael Bartsch a deal he couldn't refuse. Thus, Bartsch has join the company as Vice President of Infiniti Americas, the luxury marque's top North American post. Bartsch replaces Ben Poore, who has been with the automaker since 2008, having led both a 22-percent sales surge in 2012 and the brand's current sales slough, Automotive News reports.
Bartsch, Porsche's No. 2 US executive, has held the COO and Executive Vice President positions at Porsche since 2005 and was scheduled to become CEO of Porsche's Oz division on September 1. Infiniti has experienced a number of recent personnel changes in the past week: it named Vincent Gillet, formerly an executive for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, to lead its marketing efforts worldwide and Simon Cox, a former designer for automakers including Ford and Peugeot, to head a new design studio in London.
Poore reportedly will pursue other interests outside of the auto industry. Read more about the personnel change in the press release below.
