Never wrecked, never door dinged, runs and performs like new!  CLEAN and clear title.  I will gladly email you a copy of the AutoCheck report.  PAGE 1 of this report can be seen in my Photobucket Album.  See link below.

Since new I’ve personally detailed my M on a frequent basis using proper industry recognized techniques and materials from Griot’s Garage.  My detail cart is a serious one.

You may not find a nicer Infiniti “M” of this vintage and every mile accounted for by me, the sole and very meticulous owner.  This car has NEVER been through an automatic car wash!  It is mechanically perfect.

Why am I selling?  While it is the best sedan I’ve ever owned I simply don’t drive it enough anymore.  Most of its 107,000 miles were clocked in the first four years of ownership.  In the recent three years, I’ve driven only about 10,000 per year or less.  Since new and until 100K miles, it has been covered under Infiniti’s Elite maintenance agreement under which all maintenance events have been performed.

I must rave about Infiniti’s “Brake-Activated Front Pre-Crash Seat Belts”, a standard option on this M.  Under emergency braking both front seat belts cinch up TIGHT!  What a great feature especially if you have teen drivers.

It was recently detailed by someone else for the first time, because I lack the time.  Darring’s Detail of Indianapolis.  http://www.darringsdetail.com/.  What an absolutely fantastic job by these pro’s!

PHOTO'S:  100 photos at this link  http://s248.photobucket.com/user/yankmchain/library/M35x%20For%20Sale?sort=3&page=1

Tasteful upgrades include:

  • 3M Clear Bra Film professionally installed at 4K miles.  This is the ORIGINAL 3M clear bra material and not the newer “spray-on” variety.  Applied to the entire front bumper/fascia, front 20% of hood, front fender corners and mirrors.

  • LED Lighting – All interior lighting has been upgraded with quality LED lighting including overhead map lights (Front driver, passenger AND rear passenger), foot wells, all four doors, both trunk locations, license plate and some powerful LED’s in the backup lights.  Check out the nighttime photos.  The NIGHTTIME photos were taken at the conclusion of this upgrade.  It does get looks by passers-by!

Repairs and part replacements, out of warranty or normal wear items:

  • New Battery – 12/5/2011

  • Front Struts – 4/1/2014 (pot hole took the life of one, replaced both)

  • Rear Brake Rotors and Pads – 5/12/2014

  • Rear Tires – 9/10/2013

Tires – The factory tires, Goodyear Eagle RSA’s are TERRIBLE in all respects and not fit for this car.  That’s why you only see them otherwise on police cars everywhere.

At the first tire change (January of 2009) I installed Yokohama Advan S4’s which are a DREAM to drive on in all conditions!  They grip well, last long (tread wear rating of 400) and are phenomenal in rain and snow.  This car currently has new Advan’s in the rear.

Other items of note:

  • Front bumper free of license plate holes

  • Floor Mats:

    • Full set of WeatherTech Interior

    • Rear one-piece Factory carpeted LOGO mat

    • Rubber WeatherTech one-piece trunk mat

  • Fuel – this car has NEVER drank anything but Premium

  • Since break-in it has always had 100% synthetic motor oil

I have the original window sticker and all factory provided manuals, booklets and zippered leather pouch.

Autoblog sell-it-yourself highlight: 2013 Infiniti QX56

Thu, Apr 20 2017

As Lincoln announces an all-new Navigator at this year's New York auto show, and General Motors' Arlington (Texas) plant runs 24/7 cranking out Tahoes, Yukons, and Escalades, Infiniti's big QX56/80 continues to gain fans in a great many upmarket zip codes. And its appeal – for those with an appreciation for Big Foot footprints – is obvious. Built atop Nissan's Patrol platform, the QX56 offers high levels of refinement with cubic yards of utility. Introduced by Nissan's Infiniti division in 2011, you would assume any inaugural bugs had been worked out by 2013, the QX's third model year. Power was supplied, in the press vernacular, by Nissan's proven 5.6-liter V8 producing 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. A seven-speed automatic transmission was standard on all models, and while the additional speeds might suggest some semblance of efficiency, no one should confuse this big QX with a Toyota Prius. Our 'for sale' example, with 84,000 miles, represents above-average mileage for a 4-year old vehicle. But if those are largely highway miles in and around Madison, Mississippi, and service records are available, you shouldn't be too concerned. This is, with proper maintenance, a 200,000-mile platform, leaving you about 116,000 miles for your $37,000. And the 'ask' seems about $5,000 too dear; perhaps the seller will throw in a gas card. Infiniti Q50 BTCC ready to race

Sat, Jan 10 2015

A few months ago, Infiniti announced it would field its Q50 sedan (or a racing derivative thereof) in the British Touring Car Championship, and now the Japanese automaker has revealed the tin-top racer in its final form as it prepares to roll onto the grid. Like the rest of the BTCC field, the Q50 racer is based on the series Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC) regulations. That means it's based on the production model, and not on a control chassis (like the one you'd find in NASCAR) done up to look like the showroom version. It also means a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine driving upwards of 300 horsepower through an Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox with AP Racing clutch, throttle by wire and the manufacturer's choice of front- or rear-wheel drive, the latter of which we assume Infiniti has chosen for its touring car. Two examples of the Q50 BTCC will be fielded by Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing, a non-profit venture with proceeds (assuming there are any) going towards the British paratroopers' charity. The team is being run by Derek Palmer Sr, whose son Derek Jr will drive one, with the other piloted by Richard Hawken, and injured paratroopers filling out the pit crew and support staff. The Infiniti Q50 BTCC will be showcased on the Dunlop stand at the Autosport International show in Birmingham this weekend. NEW Q50 BTCC LIVERY AT AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL SHOW Wednesday, 7 January 2015 The recently announced 'Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing' team, which will contest the Dunlop British Touring Car Championship this season, will unveil a new livery for its two NGTC Infiniti Q50 race cars at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham later this week. The new livery on the Q50, being displayed on the Dunlop stand, has been designed by Infiniti's own design team in Paddington London, further enhancing the ongoing partnership of Infiniti with the Mallory Park-based team, which will employ injured ex-Paratroopers to prepare both race cars. Simon Cox, Infiniti Design Director from Infiniti Design London, said "The new Q50 race car livery was developed to contrast against the traditional branding schemes normally associated with the BTCC grid. However, it still retains a high level of visibility, reflecting both the dynamic qualities of the Infiniti Brand along with the performance and striking contours of the Q50 road car.

2015 Italian Grand Prix is smoke, mirrors, stalls, and stewards

Mon, Sep 7 2015

For the first day-and-a-half of the Italian Formula One Grand Prix weekend, everything went to blueprint: Mercedes in front, Ferrari lurking, everyone else scrambling in their usual orders behind. Then qualifying came, and someone stirred the pot. About the only thing we expected was for Lewis Hamilton to put his Mercedes-AMG Petronas on pole position, the 11th time he's done it this year. He did it with a brand-new specification engine, one that represents not only an evolution in components, but also in power unit philosophy. Kimi Raikkonen lines up in second. It's been a long time since we read those words; the Iceman hasn't been on the first row since the 2013 Chinese Grand Prix, when he put his Lotus second on the grid behind... Lewis Hamilton. Raikkonen lined up just ahead of a Ferrari at that China race, then driven by Fernando Alonso. In Italy this weekend, he lined up in front of the Ferrari driven by his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, who qualified third. Both Ferraris benefitted from an upgraded power unit, ending a front-row drought for the scuderia that goes all the way back to Monaco in 2009 Germany in 2012. Nico Rosberg has a lot of work to do from fourth in the second Mercedes-AMG Petronas. Mercedes discovered a problem with Rosberg's engine but couldn't figure out the cause, so he reverted to the previous-spec engine he used in Belgium, one that's six races old. The lack of power hurt. Williams teammates Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas took fifth and sixth, with Massa seemingly given a team-ordered helping hand. Williams told Bottas to tow Massa down the front straight, giving Massa a blistering time in the first sector. Then Bottas did it again, ensuring he would line up behind Massa. The first Sahara Force India of Sergio Perez nabbed seventh, three places ahead of teammate Nico Hulkenberg in tenth, with Romain Grosjean in the Lotus behind Perez in eighth. Marcus Ericsson in the Sauber qualified ninth, but some clumsy driving saw him impede Hulkenberg twice. The stewards penalized Ericsson with a three-place grid penalty and two points on his superlicense, so Hulkenberg inherited ninth and Pastor Maldonado in the second Lotus inherited tenth. We hardly saw Hamilton during the race, because he led from the start, worked up a larger gap to second place on every lap, and didn't give up the lead for the whole event.
