2006 Infiniti M45 Exc. Cond. 55k Miles Loaded With All The Options Must See on 2040-cars
Birmingham, Alabama, United States
This 2006 Infinity M45 is simply a wonderful car with all
the options. Perfect color combo with silver/tan leather. This is my favorite
car that I’ve ever owned. It has the perfect combination of luxury, performance
and convenience. I would prefer to keep it but regretfully I need to sell it.
It drives and looks great. It has extremely low miles at 55k.This super clean
luxury sport sedan is equipped with push button start, bluetooth, navigation,
dvd system, rear view camera, intelligent cruise control, technology package,
journey package, premium package, heated and cooled seats, moon roof, bose
sound system with 14 speakers (see pics of speaker in seats), etc. It has a
custom Stillen stainless steel exhaust that gives it a nice tone (not loud at
all). Exhaust sounds great and cost approx 2k with installation. Custom tinted
windows all around including windshield. Tinted black wind deflectors all
around. It has the coveted back glass painted wind deflector as well. Exterior
does not have any dents or dings. There are a couple of scratches on the bumper
but that’s it. Tires are
cooper zeon’s that are in like new condition. It has been well maintained with
mobile 1 synthetic oil. Excellent
condition, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Must see, Non-smoker, Seats like
new, Very clean interior, and garage kept. I need to sell but I’m not
desperate. I do have a dealer’s license but this has been my personal car since
December 2012. KBB private party value and NADA are both over 19k without the
additional accessories. My price is 18625 firm. Nonnegotiable. More pics available upon request. If you would like to discuss the car via phone please contact me at 205-202-1170 (Reggie).

2014 Infiniti Q50S
Mon, 03 Feb 2014Ten years ago, nearly to the day, I took delivery of a brand-new 2004 Infiniti G35 6MT. The sporty rear-wheel drive sedan, equipped with its throaty 260-horsepower V6, slick manual gearbox and limited-slip differential replaced my 2001 BMW 330i because the Japanese competitor touted a product that was roomier, better equipped, quicker and lower priced. The G35 trumped the German in nearly every measurable category - at least on paper.
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 is the direct descendant, albeit two generations later, of the car I owned a decade ago. It is dimensionally about the same size, but it has gained more than 300 pounds of mass thanks to numerous safety upgrades and technical innovations. The additional weight is largely dismissed by a larger and more efficient powerplant that delivers an additional 68 horsepower, a welcome arrival, but the manual gearbox that charmed enthusiasts has been pushed out of the picture by a mandatory seven-speed automatic transmission.
As it has in the past, Infiniti touts its all-new Q50 as a luxury sport sedan worthy of the title. Decades ago, impressive performance statistics may have sealed the deal. Yet there is much more to the assignment today, as the model must offer premium appointments, sophistication and engaging driving dynamics if it's going to entice and capture the next-generation of young, premium buyers - much like the G35 did for me ten years ago.
Nissan recalls 226k vehicles over airbag inflators
Wed, 30 Jul 2014Nissan and Infiniti are the latest automakers to issue recalls involving faulty airbag inflators from Takata. The Japanese automakers have announced campaigns covering about 226,326 units from seven models built in the early 2000s because they contain the bad part in the passenger-side, front airbag. The affected vehicles include the 2002-2004 Nissan Sentra, 2002-2003 Pathfinder and 2002-2003 Maxima, and it also covers the 2002-2003 Infiniti QX4, 2002-2003 I35, 2003 FX45 and 2003 FX35.
Like the other vehicles with the faulty inflators, it's possible for the part to rupture during airbag deployment and spray metal shrapnel at occupants. Nissan and Infiniti have even included vehicles with replacement airbags in this campaign because those parts also could have been defective. Both companies were also part of the earlier regional campaign to fix cars in high-humidity climates where the problem has been found to be the worst.
As is the usual response, Nissan and Infiniti will notify owners of the affected vehicles and will make the repair at no charge. According to the filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, these fixes will commence around August 11. Assessing Sebastian Vettel's first 100 days as Infiniti's director of performance
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Whenever a new US president is elected, we know to expect a performance review as soon as he (or she) has spent 100 days in office. Sebastian Vettel, arguably given a job that is more important to Infiniti than the US president, has been the brand's director of performance for one hundred revolutions of The Blue Marble, and Infiniti has put together a videographic glimpse of his work at Paul Ricard, in the US and England.
We probably won't really get a grip on the full results of his efforts for a while - we doubt that he's been in his post long enough to significantly alter the trajectory of the Q50 sedan, for instance. But then again, Infiniti insists he's been integral to the car's dynamics development regime, suggesting he's been working as a test driver for some time before these 100 days. Of course, Vettel is a race car driver and brand ambassador first and foremost, but when he tells a Q50 engineer that "For the future, I think it's more comfortable to have the shift paddles on the steering wheel," we get the sense that he won't hesitate to suggest changes in forthcoming products. Check out more of his inputs in the video below as well as a press release detailing his visit to the tech center in Cranfield, UK.
