G35X ~ RECOVERED THEFT ~ INTACT!

Up for auction: a 2004 Infiniti G35X 3.5L  AWD ~ Automatic Transmission ~ Sunroof, Leather, Dual Power Heated Seats with ONLY 96,745 Actual Miles!  This vehicle was recently purchased from an insurance company as a theft recovery. This means the car was stolen, then recovered. Nothing was stolen off the car, the ignition was not broken nor any of the glass. We have a key for the car. As you can see from the pictures, the exterior is in great condition. There is a very small dent on the roof which is hard to notice (see picture). The engine runs great and the transmission shifts as it should.     SHIPPING: Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. We can assist in locating a shipping company for you. We assume no damages incurred after vehicles leaves our premises. All salvage vehicles must be towed or trailered off the premises. All vehicles must be picked up within 15 days. After 15 days a storage fee of $20 per day will be charged.

Infiniti Q50 sedan recalled over steering software glitch

The Basics: Infiniti will recall around 60,000 Q50 sedans globally due to a glitch in the software that controls the cars' direct adaptive steering system. It's this hardware and software that allows the Q50 to steer itself autonomously under certain conditions. A total of 28,182 Q50 sedans will be recalled in the US, with another 3,804 in Canada. We're not certain yet which model years will be recalled, but the direct adaptive steering debuted in 2014. The Problem: According to Infiniti spokesperson Stefan Weinmann, "in certain rare circumstances, just after starting the vehicle" a software glitch "can lead to a lack of steering responsiveness and change in turning radius." Injuries/Deaths: None reported. The Fix: Infiniti hasn't yet announced how it will fix the issue, but a software update seems likely. That means a trip to the dealership. If you own one: Expect to hear from the manufacturer later this month or next. Infiniti Q50 to enter British Touring Car Championship

Infiniti doesn't have much in the way of motorsports heritage. Sure, its logo is currently plastered all over the open-wheelers of the Red Bull Racing Formula One team, but that's little more than a series of stickers - the turbocharged V6 hybrid still comes from corporate cousin Renault.
Perhaps realizing that, the company is dipping its toe into the motorsports pool in a much bigger way (albeit in a far smaller series). The Nissan-owned luxury brand will campaign its Q50 sedan in the notoriously rowdy British Touring Car Championship with a new factory team, called Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing.
The team works with British veterans' charity Support Our Paras, and actually will employ a number of injured vets as part of the team, according to the report on Motor Authority.
