Up for sale is this immaculate 2012 Infiniti G37X Sedan. This Infiniti has only 16,000 original miles on it. This car looks absolutely great inside and out! It looks as if it has modestly been used. Unfortunately, this car was involved in a flood and its being sold with a salvage certificate from NY. It looks like water just barely made it inside. Maybe the got just below the lower part of the seats and that was about it. The only issue with this car is that the front power seats dont work and the airbag light is on (the heated seats work fine). The front seats dont work because water enter the power seat connections, which are located under the power seats. These connections will need either need to be replaced or repaired and the seats should work again. The seat motors themselves appear to be good, its just the connections that are bad. The airbag light is on because water entered the seat connections and there is airbags in the seats. Once the seat connects are repaired, the airbag light should go off as well. These two problems are both related. Its a very minor thing and that really is the only issue worth noting. The G37X is in great mechanical condition otherwise and everything works the way it should, and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every switch functions properly.  I have been driving this vehicle on and off and its a really nice driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done and its ready for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The tires on the car are practically new. They have tons of tread left and they are all matching Goodyear Eagle tires. This is a very well taken cared of car and it will last someone forever. This is also a ONE OWNER vehicle and it appears to be all original with no paint or body work done to it. You literally jump in this car and drive it a long distance back home without any problems at all.
This G37X is loaded up with every possible option that could have been ordered. This car has the all-wheel drive option, 17 inch alloy wheels, rear back-up camera, parking sensors, in-dash CD changer, MP3 Juke box that can store thousands of songs in the cars memory, heated leather seats (work great), glass moonroof, xenon headlights, fog lamps, power tilt steering wheel, steering wheel controls, On board computer, Ice cold AC, upgraded BOSE sound system, remote keyless entry, and too much more to list.
The car comes with the original Infiniti remote key fob. We also have the the unused spare tire and jack, first aid kit, and all of the vehicles tools.
The exterior of the vehicle is in superb condition. The car is virtually flawless with no major blemishes or wear to mention. The paint looks to be all original and it shines like glass. You can see your face in the paint. There is nothing to pick on with this car. The exterior is in great condition in my opinion.
The interior of the car is also in great condition as well. The seats are is fantastic condition and show no wear at all. The carpets and other panels are all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%. This car looks and drives like a new car would.
This car is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or implied. This vehicle has a salvage flood title. It is the buyers responsibility to know the laws and requirements for registering a salvage vehicle in their state. If you would like to see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so. Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are located outside my local area, I will assist in any way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500 non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks and good luck bidding!

F1-inspired, 563-horsepower Infiniti Q60 Project Black S details finally revealed

Mon, Oct 1 2018

Despite being first revealed at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, Infiniti has been quite coy concerning the details of its F1-inspired hybrid super coupe, the Q60 Black S. That ends at this year's Paris Motor Show, where the company has finally spilled specific information about the car. It's technologically fascinating, even if the on-paper performance doesn't sound all that shocking. Total power output of the concept, now called Q60 Project Black S, is 563 horsepower, with final torque figures yet to be announced. That power comes from a combination of the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 found in the Q60 Red Sport 400, along with a trio of motor-generator units that have similar functionality as those found in the Renault Sport F1 car's KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System). One large one is connected to the rear axle and generates electricity under deceleration like most hybrids, and it can deliver 160 horsepower under acceleration. The other two motor-generators are coupled to the turbochargers. They generate power under acceleration as the turbines spin. They also act as an electrical anti-lag system, spinning up the turbines when hitting the throttle again after it has been closed in order to provide maximum boost immediately. Power for and from these motor-generators is stored in a 4.4-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. All the powertrain's power goes through a seven-speed automatic transmission to the rear wheels via a mechanical limited-slip differential. The company claims it can hit 62 mph in under 4 seconds. One of the advantages of this powertrain is that electricity is generated both on acceleration and deceleration, which helps maintain battery charge so the motor assistance can be used more of the time. How aggressive the car is with the electrical boost is determined by which mode the vehicle is in, Road, Quali (for qualifying), or Race. Road is the most conservative, whereas Quali is the most aggressive. The reason for this is that if you're qualifying, you have to go the fastest you can in a short amount of time. A digital simulation of the car running a lap in Quali mode at Circuit de Catalunya estimated it would use 15 percent of the battery charge. That means it could do a little over six laps in that mode and maintain full use of its electrical assists. Race mode conserves battery life more, since you'll want that power over the course of the race. A downside to the Project Black S hybrid system is that it's really heavy.

Infiniti teases November debut of new QX55 crossover-coupe

Wed, Aug 5 2020

Infiniti will officially unveil its new QX55 crossover-coupe via social media on Nov. 11, Nissan's luxury subsidiary announced early Wednesday. Infiniti is calling it a return to the segment which the company helped pioneer when it launched the FX crossover back in 2002.  "With a roofline and visual elements inspired by the iconic Infiniti FX, the QX55’s provocative design will fuse the stance and versatility of a premium midsize crossover with the sleek profile of a sports coupe," Infiniti's announcement said. "Beyond its provocative looks, the QX55 will also feature innovative technologies designed to empower, engage and connect luxury customers to the road ahead." The announcement was accompanied by the above teaser image, which depicts the QX55's tapered liftgate. It's quite a bit more conservative than the previously released design sketch suggested, but certainly looks the part.  The QX55 is one of five new vehicles Infiniti plans to launch in the next three years. It was first teased last August during Monterey Car Week. While Infiniti has been leaning heavily on the heritage of the original FX (which later became the QX70) since releasing that first design sketch, the QX55 will actually have little in common with its spiritual ancestor. While they may share fastback SUV looks, the QX55 will be based on the QX50 — a modern, front-wheel-drive crossover with small, efficient engines. The FX was derived from Infiniti's sport sedans and coupes, and even boasted a V8 option for much of its existence. Production of the new crossover-coupe was slated to begin in June, but was reportedly pushed back due to complications at its production facility in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The facility is a joint-venture project between Mercedes-Benz parent company Daimler and Nissan, and produces several other front- and all-wheel-drive vehicles for both companies.  Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Infiniti bringing Q50 Eau Rouge to Geneva, now with engine [w/video]

Wed, 19 Feb 2014

During last month's Detroit Auto Show, Infiniti rolled out the lustrous Q50 Moulin Eau Rouge concept - a preview of what could be a solid performance offering from Nissan's luxury arm. Problem is, the car shown in Detroit was all show and no go - literally.
Infiniti was keen to talk about how the Eau Rouge would feature "a big personality, V-cylinder engine with forced induction" with "over 500 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque," but the showcar had no such powerplant underhood. In fact, it didn't have any powerplant under the hood at all. That'll change next month, however, as Infiniti has now confirmed that it will bring the Q50 Eau Rouge to the Geneva Motor Show in March, complete with the promised "big personality" engine.
"Our engineers have perfectly captured the tone of Infiniti's take on premium performance, and a car that is as impressive as the Q50 Eau Rouge sounds is surely a car to challenge performance cars in the premium sector," said Infiniti's President, Johan de Nysschen. Regarding that sound: he ain't foolin' - the automaker has released a teaser video that gives us our first listen at what the Q50 Eau Rouge will sound like once its powerplant is nestled underhood. Scroll down to give it a watch - err, listen - and have a look beyond that for the company's official press blast.
