This car has no problems or issues, I have been driving it everyday for over a year and it is a wonderful car. The car was purchased new from Infiniti of Greenwich Ct. I am the second owner (not including the insurance co). I purchased the car with 13000 miles, it has 19547 as of today.

Geico payed out a claim to the original owner after fresh water entered the car and disabled it by, (unknown to them at the time), rendering the BCM computer (body control module) inoperable. The BCM and one of the seat control modules got wet and were replaced. I have the receipts. The BCM is in the passengers side foot well and the seat computer is bolted to the underside of the seat. The water level was under the seat bottoms. The interior was removed, carpet professionally shampooed clean, everything inspected and re installed. As a precaution all fluids were replaced with the proper Nissan fluids. The battery was also upgraded to the M37 battery per Infiniti's suggestion in a TSB.

This car was NOT underwater or contaminated with salt water, similar water damaged cars have been damaged by simply leaving the moon roof or convertible top down in a storm. This car had to be inspected and approved by NJ's specialty inspection center before it could be registered and titled. This is an hour long intensive inspection to make sure the car is safe and roadworthy and repaired properly. It passed with no issues. This can be registered and titled anywhere.

This car runs, drives and handles just the way it did from the factory. This is not a base model, it's loaded, it has heated leather seats, back up camera, navigation, moon roof, all wheel drive, blue tooth phone integration and much more, I was told this car retailed for $44000 with the included options. My buy it now price is a great deal considering it only has 19k miles on it.

There is minor curb rash on the pass front wheel and on the front lower spoiler which can be seen in the pictures, this is common with this car because the wheels stick out past the tires, and the front spoiler is quite low. There is also a spot on the rear bumper that has been touched up. These are not very noticeable things but I though I should point them out.

I love this car but the reality is that I could make better use of the money. My work commute is only 5 miles each way and I also have a truck as well as a family suv that my wife drives.

Ebay does not allow trades but I am selling this car to help finance a Mercedes sprinter van for use in a RV conversion, but would consider other small motor homes or other things, so if your selling something please let me know.

So that's why I am considering selling it, please no low ball offers, I am not desperate to sell it, this car is payed off and I have the title, so if I don't sell it I will simply continue to enjoy it.

There is currently an elaborate high end stereo system which will be removed before the sale. The stock stereo system will be re installed unless the new owner is into ultra high end audio and wants to negotiate the system.

Feel free to ask any questions or send your number if you want to discuss the car over the phone. Thanks

Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept bows again, now with more GT-R [w/video]

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

Think back to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show and you'll remember the Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept - a sedan that showed the potential design direction for a seriously high-performance take on the Japanese automaker's new entry-level luxury sedan. And while the show car we saw in Detroit was all well and good, it lacked something. Specifically, an engine. Kind of an important thing for a performance concept, right?
Here in Geneva, Infiniti rolled out that same Q50 Eau Rouge, but with one major modification: the sedan now boasts a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 under its hood - the same engine that's found in the Nissan GT-R supercar. In the Eau Rouge, this V6 is tuned to produce 560 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque, sent to the ground via the GT-R's all-wheel-drive system. Of course, this super-hot Q50 is still purely a concept, but Infiniti says that the potent engine underhood will allow the sedan to sprint to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds, on its way to a top speed of over 180 mph.
The oft-fabled "four-door GT-R" still isn't confirmed for production, so for now, all we can do is cross our fingers (and toes). Check out the Q50 and its new beating heart in the gallery, above, and scroll below to hear what that potent Eau Rouge sounds like.

Infiniti plans overhaul of infotainment system by 2021

Fri, Apr 6 2018

Infiniti is working on a fully overhauled infotainment system starting in 2021 that will feature bigger displays but retain the current dual-touchscreen setup. In the meantime, upgrades including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity will be added to existing systems starting next year, depending on the market. "Next year is going to be the first step of improvement," Infiniti's vice president of product strategy, Francois Bancon, told Australian outlet GoAuto. "And as we move forward with a bigger display, 12.0-inch, 15.0-inch, whatever, of course we are going to improve the accuracy." He also indicated that "only the media" complains about the dual-screen display and that customer feedback has been strong. "The appearance of the system, for example in QX50, which is the same as in Q50, we're not going to change. But we just redesign the whole system behind more capacity, faster reaction time, high-definition display and full connectivity." So the new system will keep the dual-screen setup, which today involves the top screen handling mostly navigation and redundant audio information while the lower screen is used to control vehicle, phone and audio functions (see the below video for more info on how it works). The QX50, which goes on sale in the United States later this year, will also be the first Infiniti to get a 9-inch color head-up display on the windshield, plus smartphone mirroring and data-derived weather and other apps. The rollout of a new infotainment system coincides with Infiniti's plan to build its first all-electric car in 2021 and release hybrids based on Nissan's e-Power technology. Parent company Nissan has said it wants to sell 1 million electric vehicles annually by 2022. Related Video:

2015 Infiniti Q70L

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

A quick look at a scatter plot that charts rear legroom against luxury sedan MSRPs reveals a dearth of spacious bargains - few, if any, luxury sedans offer exceptionally spacious rear accommodations at a relatively low starting price. To fill the vacuum, Infiniti has made its Q70 available in a Q70L variant - in English, long wheelbase - for 2015.
The artist formerly known as the Infiniti M has been available in stretched-out form in the Chinese market for two years, and the US introduction is accompanied by several updates that include slightly reworked styling cues, and refinements to the drivetrain and chassis. The Q70L's wheelbase extends 5.9 inches (with a commensurate expansion of knee room), while overall length increases to 202 inches, a 7.3-inch bump. Powertrain options include a 3.7-liter V6 which produces 330 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque (starting at $51,350), or a 5.6-liter V8 that yields 420 hp and 417 lb-ft (and climbs to $64,550). The long-wheelbase treatment adds $1,500 to Q70 MSRPs. Not surprisingly, the Hybrid version is not available with the L treatment.
Up to three Q70L rear passengers are treated to reading lamps, a 12-volt power outlet, rear door close assist, and available heated seats. Unlike its Far Eastern counterpart (and competitors like the $61,500 Hyundai Equus), the US-spec Q70L's rear seats don't recline. Bummer.
