2017 Infiniti QX30 price anounced ahead of September launch

The 2017 Infiniti QX30 will start at $30,945 for the base model and will max out at $39,495 for the Sport trim. The oversized hatchback will be available in six different trims: the QX30, QX30 Luxury, QX30 Premium, QX30 Sport, QX30 Luxury AWD, and QX30 Premium AWD. There will also be a 2017 QX30 Reservation Program for buyers interested in getting their hands on the car first. Buyers in the program will be able to choose from a selection of gifts to go along with their new QX30. The QX30 Luxury starts at $33,595, while its AWD variant is $1,800 more. The QX30 Sport, which is front-wheel drive only and is 0.6 inches lower than the rest of the lineup, is priced at $39,495. The QX30 Premium will start at $36,295 with the QX30 Premium AWD commanding an additional $2,400. All trims are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four that puts out 208 hp and sends power to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. While the QX30 borrows a lot of components from the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, it's priced lower than its German counterpart. The Mercedes GLA250 starts at $33,775, while the GLA250 4Matic is priced at $34,775. The QX30 also comes in under the Acura RDX ($36,510), BMW X1 ($34,095), Audi Q3 ($34,625), and the larger Lexus NX 200t ($35,915). Infiniti prices Q50 2.0t from $34,855, hybrid from $47,955

Infiniti has a whole range of new engines coming out for the Q50. And that means a new pricing scheme to go along with it. The bottom line is that you can now get into the sports sedan for as little as $34,855 (inclusive of the $905 destination charge). That price is for the 2.0-liter turbo model that's the new point of entry into the range with 208 horsepower on tap. It also represents a much lower starting price for the 2016 model than the one it replaces, which started at over $38k for the base Q50 3.7. It also undercuts the price of the comparable Audi A4, which also comes with a 2.0-liter turbo four priced from $38,250. The BMW 3 Series straddles the divide with two models equipped with 2.0-liter turbo fours: the less potent 320i with 180 hp priced slightly below the Infiniti at $34,145, and the more powerful 328i with 240 hp for $39,345. If you want all-wheel drive or the Premium trim, you'll need to cough up an extra couple grand for each, which is a larger premium than the Japanese automaker charged before. Pricing for the V6-powered 3.0t and Red Sport 400 models are still to come. But along with the 2.0t sticker, Infiniti also released pricing for the hybrid model, which only comes in Premium spec and starts at $47,955. That's a couple grand more than the outgoing version cost at $45,305. For the time being, the top of the line is the Q50 Hybrid Premium AWD, which goes for $49,955. Infiniti QX55 crossover coupe teased again, hints at FX looks and a surprise out back

Infiniti plans to launch five new vehicles in the next three years. We got an abstract squiggle of the first one in August, when Infitini teased the coming QX55 crossover coupe during Monterey Car Week. Said to act as a medium that would communicate design language from the dearly departed FX crossover, the QX55 is meant to infuse a lot more design mojo to the conventional QX50 crossover that it's based on. The Japanese luxury brand just dropped the second teaser, this one revealing a swath of greenhouse and shoulder, and indeed, an arc of chrome trim that could have been traced from FX production drawings. The attention-getter here is what comes behind the greenhouse: A tailgate extension with the makings of a stubby trunk.  Positive reviews have come from a group of media to whom Infiniti showed a matte gray pre-production version of the QX55. The front diverges from the QX50 only in a few details, while the roofline isn't as coupe-ish as it might be because designers wanted to ensure adequate headroom for rear seat passengers. The steep rake has been saved for the area aft of the C-pillar, convincing one scribe to write that "the QX55 reminds us most of the Audi Q8, which also lacks swooping silhouette and looks more like a lifted hatchback." The rear fascia is said to look "cleaner and more modern than Infiniti’s current midsize crossovers," even though the jutting rear presents a vertically flat lower hatch that looks "a bit boxy." Having moved the license plate holder to the bumper, the wide expanse is home to a larger Infiniti badge and logo script with an "I" that serves an as-yet-undisclosed function. At the edges come taillights with a "sharp new piano key design." One site summed up with, "this is a gorgeous crossover coupe that will turn heads." The QX50 is expected to debut in the first three months of 2020, with an on-sale date sometime next summer.
