YOU ARE BIDDING ON A WELL CARED FOR 2004 INFINITI G35 BASE COUPE. THERE IS NO RUST ON THE BODY, IT IS SMOKE FREE, AND THE INTERIOR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

I HAD THIS CAR MECHANICALLY CHECKED, INSPECTED AND REPAIRED SO THAT IT WILL PASS THE ONTARIO SAFETY INSPECTION PROCESS TO GET IT CERTIFIED. THERE ARE NO LIGHTS ON, THE CAR DRIVES SMOOTH. WE REPLACED ALL BRAKES, AND REAR WHEEL BEARINGS. TIRES ARE ABOUT 50% TREAD REMAINING. THE LEATHER SEATS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. ALL POWER FUNCTIONS WORK PROPERLY. THE ONLY ISSUE IS THE PASSENGER HEATED SEAT SWITCH DOES NOT LIGHT UP. THIS CAR DRIVES PERFECT AND STRAIGHT ON THE HIGHWAY AS I HAVE DRIVEN THIS CAR FOR A PERIOD OF ONE WEEK BEFORE THIS LISTING. THE MILES DO NOT REPRESENT THE CONDITION OF THIS CAR AS IT SOUNDS AND DRIVES AS NEW, THERE IS A PLASTIC 3M CAR PROTECTION FILM ON THE FRONT OF THE HOOD AND FENDERS(SO THERE ARE NO STONE CHIPS THERE!) THERE IS MINOR PAINT CHIPPING ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FRONT SPOILER, BUT THAT IS IT. THERE IS USUAL WEAR AND TEAR FOR A CAR OF THIS AGE. BUT VERY MINOR. ALL PAINT IS SHINY AND SHOWS EXTREMELY WELL.
A DEPOSIT OF $500 AT END OF AUCTION WITHIN 48 HOURS VIA PAYPAL AND FINAL PAYMENT VIA BANK DRAFT OR CASH UPON DELIVERY.
CAR CAN BE SHIPPED AFTER ALL PAYMENTS ARE CLEARED.
WE ARE A REGISTERED ONTARIO CAR DEALER AND MUST COLLECT TAX IN CANADA.
THANKYOU FOR BIDDING.

Recharge Wrap-up: Infiniti PHEV, free biodiesel?

Wed, Feb 10 2016

In certain cases, biodiesel is so inexpensive that it is essentially free to use. Thanks to the decline of crude oil prices, other fuels, including biodiesel, have been following the trend. After setting new renewable fuel mandates, Congress also reinstated a $1-per-gallon tax credit for refiners. With such low prices, Midwest refiners are paying as low as $0.645 per gallon. In California, however, additional incentives mean some customers could get money back on the biodiesel they use, depending on the deals between producers and blenders and whether or not they share the credits. Read more from Ag Web. Infiniti is considering adding plug-in hybrid technology to its vehicle lineup. Infiniti CEO Roland Krueger says that it will leverage the EV expertise from Nissan for the electrification of its cars. Don't hold out for a luxury version of the Leaf wearing an Infiniti badge, though. When asked if an all-electric Infiniti were out of the questions, Krueger says, "Performance and the range are very important in the premium segment, so we believe that for Infiniti a hybrid or plug-in hybrid is the right proposition at this time." With nearly 100 Tucson Fuel Cells sold so far in Southern California, these drivers have prevented some 385 tons of CO2 emissions. "Breaking the seven-figure consumer mileage barrier gives us new vision into the unlimited zero-emissions potential for Hyundai's fuel cell vehicles," says Hyundai's Mike O'Brien. "With our growing fleet of hydrogen-powered Tucson fuel cell vehicles accumulating one million miles this quickly, one can only imagine the unlimited potential for a zero-emissions hydrogen vehicle future." A look inside Infiniti's variable-compression engine

Thu, Sep 29 2016

We're sympathetic to anyone who had trouble understanding what's going on with Infiniti's new variable-compression engine. While we got a full tech briefing on the novel VC-Turbo back in August, the visual aids were lacking. The cutaway engine Infiniti brought to the Paris show fixes all of that. You can thank the little green and pink lines on the cutaway for making the whole idea a little more clear. Click through the gallery to see two lines – one green and one pink – that represent the different strokes allowing for different compression ratios. Remember, the compression ratio is the amount of volume in the cylinder on intake compared to the amount at the end of the compression stroke. Leave more room at the end and you lower that ratio. The length of the stroke doesn't change with this system, but where it sits along the cylinder does. Hence those two lines. The variable compression ratio allows this new turbocharged engine to maximize fuel economy when the turbo isn't needed by raising the compression ratio. It will see its first use in the next Infiniti QX50 crossover, previewed by the QX Sport Inspiration concept that's also on display in Paris, and has performance targets of 268 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque. After, it will migrate to other Infiniti and Nissan vehicles, with transverse front-drive-based applications first in line. Eventually, it's likely to completely replace Nissan's corporate 3.5-liter V6. We'll be poking around the engine a little more in Paris today to try and get some more info. For now, enjoy those cutaway images and those friendly little lines. Infiniti to display special Q60 convertible celebrating Unser at Amelia Island

Sun, 09 Mar 2014

Bobby Unser is one of the great American racing drivers of his generation, having won the Indianapolis 500 in 1968, '75 and '81 and belonging to the Unser racing dynasty. But he might be getting the oddest tribute of his life at the 2014 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. Infiniti has created a tribute to his Indy-winning 1968 car out of a Q60 Convertible (previously the G37), and he will be driving it around the event.
The Infiniti is wrapped in red, gold, black and white livery with the number 3 designed by the company's design director Alfonso Albaisa. While the connection seems dubious, Offenhauser-powered racecars are one of the featured vehicles at this year's concours, and the Japanese luxury automaker worked with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum to bring Unser's 1968 Eagle, which used an Offenhauser engine and flew those colors, to the show. The brand wanted a car of its own to match... no matter how outlandish it looked.
Honestly, while certainly a nice gesture, the choice still seems a bit weird. At least visitors will get the chance to see American racing royalty and his winning car. Scroll down to read Infiniti's full explanation for their effort.
