So looking for more of a quiet daily driver, as the g20 is more of a track/weekend car (can be a daily, but have a 6 month old, and it's not working for him).. It's loud and vibrates due to the solid motor mounts, and the wife hates riding in it.. On the other hand, I love the car, and if I had the money, this wouldn't be going up for sale as i would just buy another car.. Car is an n/a MONSTER, and has been reliable, powerful, and still getting good gas mileage..
As of right now the car is the worlds first and only documented VQ35 G20 swap.. So it truly is one of a kind.
Here are the mods:
1) 06 Altima SE-R Engine with 57k when bought (rated for 270hp stock!)
2) 6 speed manual Maxima/Spec-V trans
3) AAsco/Stillen Flywheel
4) ACT HD660 Clutch (rated for 500 plus Tq)
5) Solid Mounts
6) All NEW srock brakes
7) 5 lug swap
8) 2005 18 inch G35 rims with new tires 235-35-18.
9) Full 3 inch exhaust (one quieter muffler, and one louder straight thru style)
10) BRAND NEW FACTORY FRONT AND REAR BUMPERS!
11) IWP Intake spacers
12) 350Z seats
13) Prosport Gauges Installed on A pillar but not hooked up yet.
There are a few ods and ends to be tied up on the car, but the major thing it needs is a paint job.. All of the body work was done by one of our friends (removing all the key marks/small dings ect/fixing small rust spot) and it just needs to be shot in a booth to look great again.. The check engine light is on for an evap code and cruise control inoperable.. The ABS light is on for a sensor that needs to be replaced (i really hate ABS anyway so I don't care). The airbag light is on because the 350z seats didn't plug into the factory harness, and will need to be spliced in to get the light to go off again. The tach does work, but as the rpms climb, the revs are more and more inaccurate on the tach.. Speedo works fine as does the gas tank.. The gauges on the A pillar are Prosport Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and Water temp (they all are installed be need to be connected to work).. There is an AEM wideband mounted to the steering colum (analog gauge works awesome for accurate reading without the digital numbers everywhere).. The stock temp sensor is not hooked up (dummy gauge)..
I think thats about all I can think of at the moment.. The car runs and drives great everyday, and never really gives me an issue. I really hate that I'm even considering selling the car as it puts a huge smile on my face literally everytime I drive it. It has the power when you need it, but gets good mileage when you drive it normal for daily use.. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. If you'd like a test drive I'd be happy to let you ride along- and if you get more interested, we can go from there..
I'm looking for a more family friendly car that is quiet (or quieter lol) and I can drive daily with my family. Doesn't matter if it's a coupe or sedan (as long as it has a good amount of space).. I'd really like a Lexus gs300/gs400, but wouldn't mind a legacy, camry, accord, highlander, grand marquis/crown victoria (p71), maybe an impreza, neon srt4, maxima, altima, silverado, tdi jetta/golf/passat, forester.. Something along those lines.. But again- try me.. The worst I can say is no.. I'm not looking for a project car- or something that needs a lot of work- just something that's reliable and not a rust bucket.

2015 Monaco F1 Grand Prix race recap [spoilers]
Mon, May 25 2015Lewis Hamilton came to Monaco with a new three-year deal with Mercedes-AMG Petronas and a vow to not let anything, including any "mistakes" by teammate Nico Rosberg, stand in the way of his best qualifying effort. Mercedes reportedly made it rain with a 100-million-pound deal, and Hamilton made it rain right back with his first pole position at Monaco. Rosberg did make a mistake but this time it was behind Hamilton, which meant he stuffed-up the qualifying attempts of rival drivers like Sebastian Vettel. So Rosberg starts second, 0.342 behind Hamilton but 0.449 ahead of Vettel in the Ferrari. Daniel Ricciardo thinks he should have been third, but a communication error with his engineers left him in the wrong engine setting for his final hot lap, so by the very first corner he'd lost the time he would have needed to get higher than fourth on the grid. The second Infiniti Red Bull Racing of Daniil Kvyat slots in behind him, ahead of the second Ferrari of Kimi "Not A Very Happy Day" Raikkonen, who just can't get it going lately. Sergio Perez did for the Sahara Force India what the car can't do on its own, which is grab a top-ten qualifying spot. Toro Rosso rookie Carlos Sainz had qualified eighth but missed a call to the weigh bridge, so he's been slapped into the pit lane. Pastor Maldonado in the Lotus inherits his eighth place, ahead of rookie Max Verstappen in the second Toro Rosso, and Jenson Button in the McLaren. Button only got up there because of two penalties: for Sainz, and Romain Grosjean who had qualified 11th but took a penalty for a gearbox change. Want to know how hard it is to do better on race day than in qualifying at Monaco? Even the never-say-die Fernando Alonso said, "Monte Carlo is a train of cars on Sunday, the race finishes on Saturday afternoon." Well obviously, he didn't take Max Verstappen's seek-and-destroy tactics into account. The young Dutchman had made passing look like a real option in Monaco, getting past Maldonado at St. Devote on Lap 7 after a bit of argy-bargy on Lap 6, then taking advantage of blue flags to slink past teammate Carlos Sainz and Williams driver Valtteri Bottas while hiding in Sebastian Vettel's slipstream. He tried the same move on Romain Grosjean on Lap 65, but Grosjean locked him out. Verstappen lined up the Lotus driver over the following laps, then looked like he slipped to the inside at St.
Red Bull Racing unveils RB10 as pre-season testing kicks off
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Ladies and gentlemen, here's the car that will win the 2014 Formula One World Championship... probably. Maybe. The success of Red Bull Racing over the past several years means that the debut of its 2014 challenger is one of the more note-worthy events of the preseason, showing off the latest piece of aerodynamic mastery from Adrian Newey.
Like the Ferrari F14 T, the Red Bull RB10 features a more conventional nose, which still plunges rather dramatically ahead of the front wheels. We're seeing a very interesting split early in the season between the top teams like Red Bull and Ferrari, who are opting for a more traditional design, and the mid-pack challengers, which are being more aggressive with their aerodynamics. Seeing how this plays out during the season will be very interesting. As for RBR's design, it's attractive, but wasn't easy to pen, according to Newey, who found the turbocharged V6s a difficult piece in the new F1 puzzle.
"Whereas the V8s were a very well-known package, with these power units, the engine itself is easy enough to install, but then of course you've got the turbocharger, the intercoolers, and the electrical side in terms of the motor generator units and much bigger batteries," Newey told the official Formula One website.
Infiniti Q50 BTCC ready to race
Sat, Jan 10 2015A few months ago, Infiniti announced it would field its Q50 sedan (or a racing derivative thereof) in the British Touring Car Championship, and now the Japanese automaker has revealed the tin-top racer in its final form as it prepares to roll onto the grid. Like the rest of the BTCC field, the Q50 racer is based on the series Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC) regulations. That means it's based on the production model, and not on a control chassis (like the one you'd find in NASCAR) done up to look like the showroom version. It also means a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine driving upwards of 300 horsepower through an Xtrac six-speed sequential gearbox with AP Racing clutch, throttle by wire and the manufacturer's choice of front- or rear-wheel drive, the latter of which we assume Infiniti has chosen for its touring car. Two examples of the Q50 BTCC will be fielded by Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing, a non-profit venture with proceeds (assuming there are any) going towards the British paratroopers' charity. The team is being run by Derek Palmer Sr, whose son Derek Jr will drive one, with the other piloted by Richard Hawken, and injured paratroopers filling out the pit crew and support staff. The Infiniti Q50 BTCC will be showcased on the Dunlop stand at the Autosport International show in Birmingham this weekend. NEW Q50 BTCC LIVERY AT AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL SHOW Wednesday, 7 January 2015 The recently announced 'Infiniti Support Our Paras Racing' team, which will contest the Dunlop British Touring Car Championship this season, will unveil a new livery for its two NGTC Infiniti Q50 race cars at the Autosport International Show in Birmingham later this week. The new livery on the Q50, being displayed on the Dunlop stand, has been designed by Infiniti's own design team in Paddington London, further enhancing the ongoing partnership of Infiniti with the Mallory Park-based team, which will employ injured ex-Paratroopers to prepare both race cars. Simon Cox, Infiniti Design Director from Infiniti Design London, said "The new Q50 race car livery was developed to contrast against the traditional branding schemes normally associated with the BTCC grid. However, it still retains a high level of visibility, reflecting both the dynamic qualities of the Infiniti Brand along with the performance and striking contours of the Q50 road car.
