2006 Infiniti Fx35 on 2040-cars

I have owned this 2006 Infiniti FX35 for about 6 years. I bought it used with about 5,000 miles at the time. It is now just over 79,000 miles. The car is in good condition and runs very well. The only mechanical problem I have ever had was a bad battery. The car has had routine oil, filter, and transmission fluid changes.
Here is a repeat of the condition description: The exterior is in good shape and the vehicle has never been in an accident nor through any repair shops other than routine maintenance. The paint is good, and the vehicle has been kept in a garage. The paint does show normal wear, scuffs, and minor scratches. There is one scratch on the right side that barely indents the metal. The tires are worn to the legal limit and need immediate replacement. The wheels are in good shape with normal scuff marks. The interior is clean and has never been used by smokers nor by pets. The driver's seat does has a couple of tears in the leather/upholstery on the left side. The interior has signs of normal wear. There is also some tear to the foam rubber type insulation found at the floor of the driver's side that makes a seal with the front door. Infiniti boss ices plan for EV

Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen has postponed plans for an electric vehicle in order to focus on high-volume models. Automotive News reports de Nysschen is attempting to be realistic about Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn's goal of nearly tripling Infiniti global sales from 170,000 units last year to 500,000 by March 31, 2017, saying, "500,000 cars by 2017 is an inordinately ambitious challenge." An electric vehicle would likely sell in rather small numbers.
Still, the executive is already making moves to improve Infiniti sales worldwide with new production in both China and England. Meanwhile, the company plans to unveil a new volume compact sedan set to bow in 2015. Meanwhile, de Nysschen is also working on two new models above the company's current M line. Those will borrow styling cues from machines like the Essence Concept, but will be far less exotic, tilting more toward high-performance luxury than true sports car.
Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge to cost over $100,000?
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Enthusiasts have been clamoring for Infiniti to build a car like the Q50 Eau Rouge for years. In concept form, it employs the GT-R's much-loved 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, tuned to produce 560 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, with the whole works slid underneath fetching luxury sedan bodywork with carbon fiber aero aids. At this point, the model is rumored to be all but certain for production. The company recently even put Sebastian Vettel in one to show it off. However, Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen is suggesting that the model's lifetime could be brief, limited and rather expensive.
The Infiniti boss recently gave a long interview to Motor Trend that spilled a lot of beans about the Eau Rouge. While he refused to officially admit that the super sedan was on the way, he admits that he's "pushing the Eau Rouge concept for commercialization."
According to de Nysschen, if built, the production version will hew closely to the concept with the engine from the GT-R, but the seven-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system will come from the Q70. And while that would make the Eau Rouge a performance powerhouse, it might also be a rarity on the road:

Tue, 24 Dec 2013If you've been watching the evolving rapprochement between Infiniti and Red Bull Racing, and have wondered what the point was if the Japanese automaker didn't capitalize on its expensive collaboration with the world-champion Formula One team, then Infiniti may finally have the answer come the Detroit Auto Show next month.
That's where Nissan's premium division is set to unveil the Q50 Eau Rouge concept, a show car set to showcase its F1 involvement in the form of a jazzed-up sports sedan. We still don't have much to go on in terms of what the concept car will actually entail beyond a body kit, but Infiniti has launched a dedicated website for the reveal and with it, this teaser video. It still doesn't tell us much, but it's a cool animation just the same, so check it out below.
