2004 Infinity Fx 45 With Technology Package, Navigation, Awd, Rear Camera! on 2040-cars
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States
2004 Infinity FX 45 with Technology Package Thanks for looking at my all-wheel drive Infinity FX 45! This is a great car with only 79,XXX original miles. Finished in Black with brown leather, the car is absolutely beautiful. The car is in great condition with low miles. With heated seats, navigation and the technology package, it has just about every option available. It even has a rear DVD player with wireless headphones- we have never had the headphones out of the original Infinity packaging! I am the second owner, we bought this car in 2005 with 19,000 miles. The car has been absolutely great, needing next to nothing over the years. The 8 cylinder engine has always run excellent, the transmission has always been flawless, running very smoothly. The car has had oil changes every 3,000 miles. All the equipment works well. There is a new battery. The car has never been smoked in, and is kept in a climate controlled garage. Here are some of the MANY options: 4 wheel drive Navigation Backup camera Sunroof Heated Seats Rear DVD player with wireless headphones Intelligent laser cruise control Bose 300 watt eleven speaker stereo system Serius Satellite radio (you need the subscription) Tire pressure monitoring Intelligent keyless entry (with 2 fobs)- this is really great, just have the fob in your pocket or purse and touch the door handle to lock and unlock the car! Really convenient! There are some minor dings and scuffs that are typical on the exterior (see the picture of the minor scuff on the front bumper), the wheels were chromed from the factory and have some of the chrome peeling- you may wish to refinish them. The driver’s seat has a crack in the leather on the side of the seat by the seat adjusters (see picture, not a big deal). We have had a child seat in the rear seat and there might be some indentations on the seat when it is removed. This car is amazing to drive, I don’t think you can purchase a crossover SUV that has all the attributes of a SUV yet handles like a sports car. Great to drive, and with the VERY low maintenance of Infinity, cheap to own. Note that I have sold several cars on EBay and have over 700 transactions that are 100% positive. I am currently marketing the car locally, and reserve the right to cancel the auction prior to the auction end if it sells. All serious bidders are welcome to view and drive the car prior to the end of the auction, with the understanding that if the car is how I have described it here, I will expect you to bid on the car prior to the auction end. In other words, I do not want to show the car if the current bid price is out of your budget, or if you are just looking. I am happy to answer any questions you may have. My cell is 414-750-5007.
A $2,000 deposit by PayPal is due within 24 hours of auction
end, and balance by wire or cashiers check within 7 days of auction end. PLEASE
do not bid if you do not intend or cannot pay for the car. If you have feedback
of less than 3, or negative feedback for non-payment, you must contact me prior
to bidding, or your bid will be automatically canceled. Transportation,
delivery and any fees or costs of licensing the car in your state are the
responsibility of the winner. The car will be released as soon as funds have
cleared. The car is lien free with title in hand. Thanks for looking, and good
luck bidding on this great FX 45! |

Sebastien Vettel testing Infiniti's production Etherea?
Thu, 30 May 2013It sounds like Sebastian Vettel has had his hands full recently, juggling his Formula One racing career while moonlighting as the newly appointed director of performance at Infiniti. On that latter note, Autocar is reporting that Vettel has been testing a production version of the Etherea Concept at France's Circuit Paul Ricard.
There is still no word as to when we could see this car go into production or what it will be called (possibly the Q30), but it will likely share a platform with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class as a part of the Daimler/Renault-Nissan collaboration. The article also said that this future entry-level Infiniti would be produced at Nissan's Sunderland, UK plant.
J.D. Power: Mini, Lexus again offer most satisfying sales experience
Thu, 29 Nov 2012JD Power has released its annual Sales Satisfaction Index Study, and once again Mini and Lexus have taken top honors. Overall, buyers are more satisfied with the auto-buying sales experience than they were last year, with those surveyed reporting an average score of 664 points on a 1,000-point scale. That's up from 648 in 2011. Dealer satisfaction also increased by five points over last year as well.
All told, Lexus brought home an index score of 737, which was high enough to put it atop the luxury brands for the second year in a row. JD Power says Infiniti came in second in that category with a score of 728 and Cadillac rounded out the podium with it's rating of 725. Speaking of Infiniti, that brand saw the single largest jump in sales satisfaction of any brand on the survey, popping up 52 index points over 2011.
Among mass-market brands, Mini ranked highest with a score of 712, followed closely by Buick with 706 and GMC farther down the line with 683. You can check out the full press release below for more information.
2016 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400 First Drive
Mon, Feb 29 2016When the original Infiniti Q50 arrived to replace the long-lived G Sedan, our reaction was lukewarm. It lacked poise, refinement, and efficiency, and we hated the Direct Adaptive Steer system. We originally thought of this steer-by-wire system as, "technology for the sake thereof." Infiniti is hoping to address these shortcomings with the 2016 Q50. It gets a new and far improved version of DAS, and a 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 sits atop a diversified powertrain family. And at the top of the ladder sits this: the Q50 Red Sport 400. The Red Sport's all-aluminum 3.0-liter V6 pumps out 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque, the latter of which can be called upon between 1,600 and 5,200 rpm. That low-end thrust is what's most evident out on the road – everything from standing starts to freeway passes are effortless. It's actually kind of ferocious – the tachometer needle climbs relentlessly, and the engine feels strong and purposeful all the way up to its 7,000-rpm redline. It's a refined and smooth powerplant, too, which is a tremendous improvement over the old 3.7-liter V6. The sensations the revised Direct Adaptive Steer system delivers are comparable to the average, modern, electric power-assisted setup. The bigger accomplishment is Infiniti's second-generation Direct Adaptive Steering system. Owners can choose from three steering weights and three levels of responsiveness, but steering adjustments feel more incremental rather than dramatic, so you won't be jarred if you suddenly switch from an aggressive mode to a more comfortable setup. Computer wizardry still can't match natural feedback, but the sensations the revised Direct Adaptive Steer system delivers are comparable to the average, modern, electric power-assisted setup. Make no mistake, that's a huge improvement and it means DAS performs far better dynamically, especially when you ask for its most aggressive behavior. See the differences between the different modes in the video below. Even half-throttle situations in the standard drive mode required counter-steering. Direct Adaptive Steer feels perfectly fine during everyday driving. We spent about 75 percent of our time testing a DAS-equipped car, but hopped into a non-DAS model a the short, 20-mile drive back to our hotel. DAS felt more stable and easy to track down the road – it didn't require the constant, tiny steering inputs of the traditional system.
