2010 Black Hyundai Tucson Gls, Very Low Mileage And Great Condition on 2040-cars
Charlotte, North Carolina, United States
Vehicle is in great used condition and has low mileage. I am the second owner and am a non smoker. Vehicle has undergone all scheduled maintenance and has all new Firestone tires as of December 2013. I bought the vehicle as a certified pre-owned in July of 2011 at a Hyundai dealership because I was having a baby and needed more room. Now I am selling it because I have a family of six and need even more room. I was given the Car Fax information on the vehicle at the time of purchase and it had not been in any accidents. The small chips in the rear spoiler were present then but other than that, the vehicle looked like new. Since then a man backed into me in a parking lot, hitting the passenger side of the vehicle right above the front tire. He paid a shop that specialized in body work to fix it and that portion of the car looks like new again. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping cost of the vehicle and cost of vehicle. Forms of payment accepted: Cashier's check or cash Feel free to email or call me with any questions christopher.w.smith@hotmail.com or 704-798-2808 |

Hyundai sued in Korea over inflated fuel economy claims
Mon, 07 Jul 2014Hyundai remains in hot water in its home market after the South Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport alleged that the country's largest automaker, along with Ssangyong, misstated fuel economy numbers on some of its crossovers. Now, though, the country's consumers are going after Hyundai, with a lawsuit from 1,500 Santa Fe owners.
The suit was filed in Seoul Central District Court by a firm called Yeyul. Its spokesperson, Kim Woong, said the suit was a sign that angry consumers could go after the manufacturer if they're wronged by a company's product.
"It is essential that as many affected consumers as possible take part in this lawsuit to show not just the carmaker but the rest of the companies in Korea that you can get a red card if you mess with your customers," Kim told Bloomberg.
Hyundai in trouble for overstating fuel economy numbers at home, too
Sat, 28 Jun 2014
Hyundai is, understandably, "very confused by the fine and the different results."
The South Korean government is investigating Hyundai and Ssangyong, alleging that the two manufacturers overstated the fuel economy figures on some of their crossovers. But while the initial investigation is being carried out by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, a separate branch of government, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy is supporting the manufacturers' estimates. See Americans, our government isn't the only dysfunctional one.
Hyundai celebrates selling one-millionth Santa Fe
Fri, 02 Aug 2013Hyundai celebrated a milestone yesterday when it sold the one-millionth Santa Fe crossover, which was the Korean automaker's first-and-only SUV when it was introduced in 2000. Hyundai credits the Santa Fe as being a key factor to the company's growth and success in the US, but it didn't describe the one-millionth Santa Fe or say where it was sold.
Before Hyundai introduced the crossover, which has been offered in short- and long-wheelbase versions from the start, it was primarily known for making inexpensive economy cars. Today the majority of Santa Fes are produced at its factory in West Point, Georgia, though they were previously made at the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing plant in Montgomery, Alabama. Today the Alabama plant makes Sonata and Elantra sedans. Hyundai says it will produce nearly 500,000 vehicles in the US this year, and will sell a total of 700,000 vehicles here.
