I'm selling my 2-Door Hyundai Tiburon.. It's sporty.   It runs and drives.  I recently bought a newer vehicle.

There is one issue with the vehicle, the Trans doesn't like to go into overdrive.  IT just started a couple

weeks ago.  If you keep the Overdrive button off it shifts out fine.  If you keep the Overdrive button on it shifts through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd perfectly, but when

it hits 40 mph it'll some time feel like shifting into neutral,   it doesn't always want to shift into o/d.  Sometimes it does shift into overdrive  but most of the time it don't.

Since this is started the check engine light has came on but the engine is in good shape.  It has a good motor.

All the lights work.  Power windows work.  Stock radio.  The back seat is a little stained up.  If someone could fix the tranny issue it would be a great car.

I would not advize driving this car on the interstate due to the tranny issue

ALL TEST DRIVES ARE TO BE DONE BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS.   ONCE THE AUCTION ENDS

THE SALE IS FINAL & THE ONLY WAY YOU'LL GET TO DRIVE THE CAR IS IF YOU PAY FOR THE CAR!

Serrious Bidders only!!!  Anyone with less than 10 feedback must contact me before bidding.

Don't waste my time That's why i'm being honest about the Car.

Hyundai planning pure electric Genesis model

Sun, Jun 5 2016

The market for luxury EVs is set to grow bigger by at least one model. The latest is set to come from Genesis, the new luxury brand launched by Hyundai. The news, according to Reuters, was revealed by the brand's chief executive Manfred Fitzgerald at the Busan Motor Show in South Korea. "We will definitely go as Genesis brand down the road of alternative propulsions and it is very, very obvious that EV is definitely on the map," said Fitzgerald "I think full electric cars will be the future in the auto industry." The executive stopped short of providing further details or a timeline for the EV's eventual launch, however it's not the first alternative powertrain the brand will offer. The G80 (pictured) is set to gain a diesel version to join the existing gasoline model, aimed principally at the vital European market that Genesis' key rivals call home. The electric Genesis would join a growing field of luxury EVs. Faraday Future is taking aim at Tesla, German automakers like Audi, BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche are expected to launch upscale electric vehicles – and others are likely to follow. Fitzgerald recently signed on as Senior Vice President at the Hyundai group to oversee the Genesis brand, having previously served as branding chief at Lamborghini. He is one of a number of Westerners recruited by Hyundai's vice chairman and heir apparent Chung Eui-sun, the impetus for the upscale brand's launch, alongside the likes of designer Luc Donckerwolke and performance engineer Albert Biermann. Hyundai bringing new Veloster model to Chicago

Thu, 30 Jan 2014

The quirky Hyundai Veloster range is expanding, and we'll see the next take of the Korean automaker's hatchback at the Chicago Auto Show next week. Buried in a release about the company's social media activities, which you can read below, is a line confirming the "reveal of the newest addition to the Veloster lineup."
Mum's the word on what to expect in the world of Veloster, but our best-guess is that it won't be something Earth-shattering. Keep in mind, Hyundai just used the LA Auto Show as its venue to debut the Veloster Turbo R-Spec - a lower-cost, performance-minded version of its hot-ish hatch. Whether or not this new model builds upon the base car (pictured) or the more potent Turbo, remains to be seen.
We'll have the full scoop next week, so stay tuned.

Hyundai files patent for smartphone feature disabler in proximity to steering wheel

Wed, Apr 15 2015

Combatting driver distraction continues to be a hot topic in automotive safety, especially when it comes to young motorists. While simply not using a smartphone behind the wheel would fix much of the problem, automakers are trying to work out complicated ways to make people safer. For example, GM is experimenting with head and eye tracking to make sure folks are paying attention to the road. Now, Hyundai might have come up with a technology that offers a very simple fix: disable the phones. The Korean automaker explains the idea in explicit detail in a recently published patent. The tech specifically "limits or disables the use of some of mobile device features which could cause distraction to the user," according to the abstract. Depending on variables like the vehicle's speed, the system determines what smartphone functions are safe to use, including texting or voice calls. Based on a plethora of permutations in the document, these restrictions could only be for the area around the driver's seat or for the whole vehicle. The key to the patent is placing antennas around the vehicle and monitoring for cellular signals. When the system detects them, it can begin selectively deciding what features to allow on the device. The tech isn't a simple on/off switch either, and can possibly detect the time of day or importance of the caller to let messages though. The major downside to all of this is the phone would need to run a specific program or firmware for all of this to work. With such a recently published patent, it might be years before the tech arrives in Hyundai vehicles, if at all. Still, this is an interesting solution. Of course, it would be far simpler if people just put down their phones. You can read the full description of the automaker's concept, here.
