Up for auction is my well maintained 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS with only 37, 289 miles. The exterior is in excellent condition, the interior is like new due to the fact that I have no kids and I do not smoke. I purchased this car from CarMax shortly after graduating from college. The car still has 5 years left on the CarMax powertrain warrantee. The car has had regular oil and filter changes as well as tire rotation and general maintenances check ups. The car drives incredible with no issues whatsoever. It gets up to 28 MPG in the city and around 35 MPG on the highway.
The car is Bluetooth ready, has iPod input, Satellite radio, Aux input, side/curtain airbags, stability control, traction control, power windows, locks and mirrors, audio and cruise control conveniently located on the steering wheel. The only reason I'm selling this car is my employer has offered me a new company vehicle. It's priced to sell with a fair market reserve price.

2009 Hyundai Genesis under investigation for brake problems
Mon, 21 Oct 2013According to The Detroit News, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation into 40,000 Hyundai Genesis sedans due to reports of brake problems. All of the vehicles in this probe are from the 2009 model year.
NHTSA has reportedly received 23 complaints from owners citing increased brake pedal travel and reduced braking power, with one of the incidents resulting in a crash. The Detroit News reports that, in another incident, the Genesis driver responded to the lack of brake effectiveness by applying the parking brake, which caused the vehicle to lose control and go into a spin. Many of the complaints indicate that this problem was simply diagnosed as a faulty ABS module.
In a statement to The News, Hyundai said it is fully cooperating with NHTSA on this investigation. An official recall may occur, depending on the results of the government agency's findings.
Hyundai pushes performance in Canadian Super Bowl ad
Thu, Jan 29 2015We keep seeing automakers put their Super Bowl ads online ahead of time, and here's one more to add to the list, although with a twist. The Internet might be the only place for many people to check out Hyundai's commercial because the spot is only playing in Canada during the game. The one-minute ad, titled Welcome to the New Age, eschews telling a narrative like many of this year's commercials. Instead, Hyundai offers a mix of energetic music over stylized imagery of the design, production and driving of the Genesis, plus a few brief cameos of other vehicles from the brand. The result is something a lot more visceral than many of the other spots so far. Too bad so many viewers are going to miss it. Autoblog reached out to Hyundai Canada for more information on the ad. According to company spokesperson Chad Heard, there is "no plan for it to be used in the US. It is specific to Canada." The spot will air during halftime.
Hyundai's second Super Bowl ad is a Nice piece of work
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Yesterday, Hyundai unveiled its Dad's Sixth Sense Super Bowl ad, which showed off the 2015 Genesis Sedan and its auto emergency braking system. While a fine spot, it lacked the pizzaz we expect of a commercial for the big game. Hyundai's second half-minute commercial, however, is more of what we expect of a Super Bowl ad.
Starring The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki and with a cameo from comedian Richard Lewis, the commercial sees Galecki trying to woo a woman he comes across at a stop light by complimenting her on her Elantra, which just so happens to be what he's driving. Things go hilariously awry from there.
