Up for sale we have a beautiful, Silver with Grey 2006 Hyundai Sonata LX. The Sonata has only 67k miles!!
This Hyundai is loaded with options including a factory Leather interior, alloy wheels, front and side airbags, and much more. You can see that the previous owner cared for the car and it was well maintained. Cosmetically the Sonata has no damage except what is listed below and pictured. The engine and transmission feel excellent and sound strong. The interior, like the exterior is very clean as well, showing minimal wear and tear for a car of this age. All the accessories work as they should. The 4 tires will be replaced at the time of sale, with new matching name brand tires.The only minor imperfections are on the rear quarter panels of the car, there are 2 dings on the drivers side and one on the passenger side quarter (pictured below). There are some other minor scratches as to be expected with a 7 year old car. The trim and emblems have been finished in satin black. The interior is in excellent condition with an aftermarket pioneer stereo (the original is included as pictured in the trunk), the only flaw being where the shifter is, it's missing the plastic piece where the shift gate is (pictured below). Hyundai brings in John Pangilinan for SEMA-bound Genesis Coupe
Tue, 15 Oct 2013There's little question that Hyundai has emerged as a tuner's favorite, and few have pushed the limits quite like John Pangilinan. The SEMA stalwart is known for turning out candy-colored Korean tuning jobs, and has now teamed up with Hyundai for this bright blue Genesis coupe.
Set to debut next month in Vegas, the JP Edition Genesis Coupe features flared fenders designed by Jon Sibal, a carbon aero kit and custom headlights, topped off by by an Atlantic Blue metallic paint job with custom graphics. But that's just what you can see. Under the hood, the JP Genesis packs an AEM cold air intake, ARK Performance exhaust, turbo downpipe, KW coilover suspension, Whiteline sway bars, ARK strut, 19-inch forged alloys, Toyo rubber and Brembo brakes.
Inside it's got Recaro buckets, a racing harnesses, GoPro camera, Alpine sound system and Katzkin suede and leather upholstery. The finished package will be on display at SEMA, but in the meantime you can scope out the full details in the press release below.
Hyundai spooks investors by paying $10B for new Gangnam HQ location
Thu, 18 Sep 2014Doing things Gangnam style apparently costs a serious chunk of change, because Hyundai is reportedly paying roughly $10 billion for 19.6 acres (79,342 square meters) of land in the trendy district of Seoul, South Korea, to serve as the location for its new headquarters. That eye-popping number represents the highest amount ever paid for a plot of land in South Korea, according to Reuters. The hefty price tag reportedly scared investors enough for stock prices to sink dramatically.
Shareholders were apparently upset because the massive outlay could instead have been put back into the company for research and development or other improvements. Instead, the company reportedly bid triple the land's appraised value, says Reuters. The announcement caused Hyundai's stock price to plummet a massive 9 percent, and there were losses from Kia and the company's parts arm, as well. All told, the three of them lost nearly $8 billion in value from the falling share prices - almost enough to pay for the controversial land.
Hyundai currently has its headquarters on the outskirts of Seoul, but seems keen to move to the high-end Gangnam district to show off its rising status. It plans to build a new office complex, hotel, convention center and theme park on the site. According to an analyst speaking to Reuters, that could all cost an additional $6 billion to complete.
