Up for sale my 2006 Sonata GLS with only 75K miles

It's equipped with 3.3L V 6engine and 5 speed automatic and septronic transmission.
This allows for a great performance and fuel 25mpg city/ 30mph hwy. while using regular gas only.
YES! REGULAR! thats what this engine requres, so you wont shed extra $$ at the pump.

It comes loaded with all power features (windows, mirrors, locks, etc) as well as premium velour interior, premium factory 6 speaker sound system (mp3 capable) and audio controls on the steering wheel, key-less entry alloy wheels etc.

This car has every safety option available on this model: ABS and EBD brakes, Front and Side and Side Curtains air bags PLUS Vehicle stability control!

Mechanically it is 100% and it is currently on the road so millage can vary a little by the time the auction is ended.

Interior is nice and clean. I would give it 9 out of 10.

Exterior is 7-8 out of 10. It does have some small dings and scratches on the back bumper and very few small imperfections on the body that are too small to visible on the pictures. There is one large scratch on the left bottom of the back bumper and can be seeing on the pictures, however its not and eye sore since its at the very bottom. I would say it's nothing more then a regular wear tear but i always encourage to come and see and drive the car in person.
Front bumper was previously customized with a carbon-fiber design to add rich and sporty appearance. Its only noticeable up close and looks really sharp. I get alot of compliments about it.

Most importantly this car comes with a clear NY TITLE. As well as Florida history. Car was in Florida up until 50k miles and was not subjected to harsh NYC roads for the most part of its life. It is very smooth and quiet and rides like a cloud.

I do have this car listed locally and reserve the right to end the auction early.

If you are interested in shipping this car I can help you set it up since I do have a friend who specialises in car transporting.

IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, REASONABLE OFFERS OR WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE CAR,

Hyundai closes the books on fuel economy litigation

Wed, 25 Dec 2013

Hyundai-Kia ended up with a lot of kimchi on its face in 2012 when it admitted it had mistakenly exaggerated fuel economy estimates on several 2012 and 2013 model-year offerings like the Hyundai Accent, Veloster and Elantra and Kia Soul. Before the admission a lawsuit had been filed by an entity called Consumer Watchdog, afterward there were "approximately 53" lawsuits filed in federal court that were eventually consolidated into one case in a California Central District court.
The companies apologized profusely and gave customers prepaid gas cards that they could refill with funds for as long as they own their vehicle, as well as perks like free car washes and routine maintenance services. The company has just announced that it has reached a preliminary settlement of the case by adding another method of reimbursement, a lump sum payment that would free drivers from having to go back to the dealership to have their mileage verified for debit card refills.
Assuming the preliminary agreement is approved by the judge, customers could choose the lump sum or the cards. The settlement's value could be as much as $210 million, but the exact number depends on which program plaintiffs choose. On average, affected customers will receive $353. Approval could come in "early 2014," after which Hyundai will notify customers. You'll find more particulars on the potential settlement in the press release below.

Senior Editor Alex Kierstein, Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Senior Green Editor John Beltz Snyder join me, Associate Editor Reese Counts — with Social Media Manager Michael Dylan Ferrara behind the camera — on a long walk through the show. We discuss cars, poke around the stands, dress a bloody wound and answer your questions in the Facebook comments. South Korea firms up fuel economy regs following Hyundai/Kia debacle

Tue, 30 Apr 2013

According to a report from Reuters, South Korea's government has drafted strict new rules for automakers to follow when calculating fuel economy. The legislation comes after a major snafu by Hyundai and Kia that resulted in the automakers lowering the estimated fuel mileage of many popular models - some by several miles per gallon, including the Soul subcompact above - and compensating owners in the US and Canada for the reduction.
The new fuel economy rules were announced by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in South Korea and will see average mileage ratings drop by roughly three to five percent, according to the report. In addition, manufacturers found guilty of overstating mileage figures will be liable for fines of up to $900,000.
These sweeping new regulations will go into effect in the second half of 2013 and, while they won't have any effect on EPA estimates for Hyundai and Kia vehicles in the United States, they are expected to result in new ratings for the two automakers in their home market of South Korea, where they enjoy a whopping 70-percent market share.
