This 4 door 4 cylinder that can get 30 mpg highway is in good condition and is perfect for anyone who wants a car. INTERIOR: The pictures show this car well. The upholstery looks like its barely even used. The original carpets are all still with the car. The heat works great and all the windows are properly functioning. The radio sounds good too. This is a very basic, straight forward clean car! EXTERIOR: The body looks great too! No damage, or rust anywhere. The tires have plenty of tread left and are in great shape. Since this was inspected, all of the headlights, brake lights and blinkers are in working order. The clear coat is still soft like it has been garaged. MOTOR/HANDLING: The car runs and drives like it should. The suspension, axles, brake system, safety features have all been checked and passed our state inspection. The car starts and idles with no issues, no smoke or odd noises. The acceleration was just how it should be and the brakes stop this car just fine. The transmission was also smooth. 2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe dumps turbo four, goes V6 only
Thu, 29 May 2014Hyundai's rear-wheel-drive Genesis Coupe has been soldiering along for several years with the choice of either a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a 3.8-liter V6, but that's about to change. Hyundai Motor America spokesperson Jim Trainor has confirmed to Autoblog: "The 2.0L Turbo engine will be discontinued starting with the 2015 model year, allowing us to reposition Genesis Coupe with its more premium performance buyer."
Rumors of the change first emerged over at The Korean Car Blog, which cited the company's ordering system as proof of the change, and it claims that there are some other changes in store for the 2015 Coupe as well. According to KCB, the base Genesis will use the 3.6 and will continue to be offered with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. Upgrading to the R-Spec model will add LED running lights, but other exterior appearance changes are unclear. Finally, the Grand Touring version will be dropped entirely, and the Ultimate trim will gain optional brown leather.

Kia design chief Peter Schreyer named Hyundai-Kia President
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Automotive News reports Peter Schreyer has been appointed the first non-Korean president of Hyundai-Kia Motor Group. Schreyer is expected to retain his role as the chief designer for Kia, while also taking on new, high-level executive duties. He is now one of three presidents at the automaker.
The designer made a name for himself at Volkswagen, where he penned the 1998 New Beetle and lent his eye to the Audi TT. In 2006, Schreyer moved to Kia, where he quickly revised the brand's styling from bland, forgettable lines to bold, "tiger nose" creations. Analysts attribute much of the brand's recent sales success to Schreyer's influence.
Kia is expected to move 2.75 million units worldwide next year, while sister company Hyundai will likely beat its 2012 sales forecast of 4.29 million units, according to CFO Lee Won Hee.
