2003 Hyundai Santa Fe Suv With 126,000 Miles. (( Cold Air )) Automatic 4 Cylind on 2040-cars
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States
Hi I'm the owner and operator of a small taxi limousine company in the South Jersey area. About 8 miles outside of Atlantic City NJ. On occasion when I sell one of my high mileage limousines I get a car in on a trade in and this is what I have.
Up for sale is this 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe ( SUV ) it's the four cylinder ** automatic ** that gets about 25 MPG! I drove this car about 20 miles. To the car wash and back. It runs and drives very good, everything works and was fully functional, the air-conditioner was very cold. The interior is very clean and neat definitely a non-smoker! The exterior was also very good, paint still looks GOOD, all in all this is a very good car for a first-time driver, commuter, student or maybe even a pizza delivery person.
Now after 25 years in the limo business. This is what I found wrong even though the car runs very GOOD! and shifts perfectly. It does has a slight hesitation when you're stop at a street light "definitely need spark plugs"
The Two front tires are very good and have about 60% tread life. The two back tires are poor and have about 40% tread life. The brakes and rotors stop fine! "although I would recommend changing them" the pedal feels a little soft towards the floor ( again they stop fine ) the passenger side upper or lower ball joint is making a noise. Only when you hit a bump it sounds more like the shock but it is definitely a ball joint I would recommend doing both sides. The paint looks very good and shiny. There is a few small rust spots. ( nothing you would take to the body shop ) again the car is not new just runs and drives very GOOD!. For a car of this age. I would recommend a mini tuneup! Spark plugs, wires, rotors, maybe a $99 brake job at minus muffler, change all the fluids and the wipers at Jiffy Lube. And you should be good to go please note this is my recommendation others may feel differently after 25 years in the limo business I would feel very confident driving this car locally right now. Local Shopping trips to the mall to and from work commuting 50 to 100 miles a day I feel pretty confident this car has plenty of life in it.
I honestly don't feel anyone should hit the buy it now button until you personally call me! Car is being sold **** as is & no warranty at all ****
Car is for local pickup only buyer has 24 hours to pay full in cash face-to-face. Please feel free to call me at 609-453-9775 daily from 9 AM to 9 PM

2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo: June 2013
Fri, 12 Jul 2013There are an awful lot of good reasons to get into the Hyundai Veloster family and formula. This car looks good, is loaded out with tech and offers a great deal of practicality in a small form factor. One good reason not to consider a Veloster, at least if you're a city dweller or have primarily urban daily driving path, is the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine in the eponymous Veloster Turbo.
Two major factors kill the Veloster Turbo in terms of said city driving: turbo lag and fuel economy.

Hyundai taps Lamborghini exec to lead Genesis brand
Mon, Dec 28 2015If Hyundai is serious about going after the big boys with the launch of its new Genesis brand, it's going to need the right people with experience in the luxury marketplace to pull it off. Fortunately it appears to have found just the man for the job. His name is Manfred Fitzgerald, and he'll be running the Korean automaker's new luxury brand starting next month. Fitzgerald was formerly director of brand and design at Lamborghini, where he worked for 12 years before leaving to start his own consultancy. As the latest Senior Vice President at Hyundai, he'll be tasked with leading the "brand strategy, marketing, and other business operations" for the Genesis brand. That means working closely with Luc Donckerwolke, who – having penned for a number of Volkswagen divisions including Lamborghini as well – recently left his post as head of design at Bentley to run Hyundai's new Prestige Design Division (which will handle the styling for all future Genesis vehicles). Donckerwolke works under Peter Schreyer, who – as chief design officer at Hyundai and one of three presidents of Kia – is the highest-ranked foreigner at the company. Schreyer is also a former VW Group man, having designed the original Audi TT and the Volkswagen New Beetle before leaving for South Korea. One year ago, Hyundai similarly tapped Albert Biermann – formerly head engineer at BMW M GmbH – to run its new performance division. Hyundai Motor Announces Manfred Fitzgerald to lead the Genesis Brand - Manfred Fitzgerald takes role of leading the Genesis brand - Genesis brand targets the global luxury car market by appointing a prominent figure that transformed Lamborghini into a luxury car brand December 28, 2015 – Hyundai Motor announced Manfred Fitzgerald, former Director of Brand and Design at Lamborghini, to lead the Genesis brand from January, 2016. Based in Hyundai Motor Headquarters Seoul, Mr. Fitzgerald will be in charge of establishing and executing strategies for the Genesis brand as the Senior Vice President. For the brand to set a strong foothold in the global luxury car market, he will take a core role in brand strategy, marketing and other business operations within the Genesis brand. During his twelve year career at Lamborghini, Mr. Fitzgerald played a pivotal role in transforming Lamborghini from a prototype car company to a luxury car brand and increased its sales ten folds as the Director of Brand and Design. Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis Concept takes a sleek look at the future
Mon, 14 Jan 2013After seeing the promising lines of Hyundai's latest concept car last week in a shadowy teased rendering, we now have a better idea about what this sleek concept is all about. The 2013 Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis Concept received its official debut today at the Detroit Auto Show, and it's expected to be a pretty good indication of the styling direction for the next-generation Genesis sedan, although not quite the real deal.
Comparing this concept to spy shots of a Genesis prototype captured early last month, we can see that many elements of the HCD-14 will be incorporated into the newest Hyundai luxury sedan. As is the case with any concept car, the oversized carbon fiber wheels and suicide rear doors will certainly not be making it to the production model, but it will be interesting to see if the next-generation sedan has some of this car's styling cues like the hard-edged body creases along the side of the car, the coupe-like roofline running all the way to the rear of the car leaving no true decklid, or even the fine details like the "Genesis" etched into the headlights.
In addition to the styling of the car, there are plenty of new features being introduced on the concept that may be intended for the final product. This includes cabin technology features like a head-up display, hand-gesture recognition, and even a system that is able to track a driver's eyes to select options in various vehicle functions such as audio or climate controls. There also luxury appointments like the real milled wood accents and the iPad storage station. Hyundai is also promising improved driving dynamics with a more rigid chassis, new driver-selectable settings for various driving conditions and, of course, carrying over the 5.0-liter direct-injected V8 paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
