Tsukuba Red 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0t Track Coupe 2-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
Denton, Texas, United States
For sale is a 2010 Red Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T Track Manual. It is a one owner that has been a daily driver. Vehicle is in good driving condition with the usual wear and tear. The vehicle has an aftermarket display called UNavi and an HKS blow-off valve installed. I still have the original radio display and plastic surroundings which will be included. The car has been well taken care of, unfortunately it was involved in a small collision at the very first of the year. It occurred on the front driver side corner. Replaced were the door panel, driver side fender, and front bumper, and I believe the drive side wheel suspension and parts. The car still holds a clear title. No major structural damage was done. Otherwise the car has the normal exterior and interior wear and tear that can be seen from a vehicle with this many miles. The sunroof cover is off the rail but just needs to be properly popped back into place, but otherwise still closes and opens just fine. Pictures provided show some of the minor exterior issues. The vehicle has never been smoked in and has always been kept clean, and was garage kept for 3/4 of its life. The only reason I am selling the car is because the wife is pregnant with our first child and had to purchase a more proper vehicle. You will be responsible to arrange and pay for any shipping charges. Sale is final and vehicle is sold as-is. Vehicle is still on loan, title will be transferred from the lien holder. |

Hyundai bringing new Veloster model to Chicago
Thu, 30 Jan 2014The quirky Hyundai Veloster range is expanding, and we'll see the next take of the Korean automaker's hatchback at the Chicago Auto Show next week. Buried in a release about the company's social media activities, which you can read below, is a line confirming the "reveal of the newest addition to the Veloster lineup."
Mum's the word on what to expect in the world of Veloster, but our best-guess is that it won't be something Earth-shattering. Keep in mind, Hyundai just used the LA Auto Show as its venue to debut the Veloster Turbo R-Spec - a lower-cost, performance-minded version of its hot-ish hatch. Whether or not this new model builds upon the base car (pictured) or the more potent Turbo, remains to be seen.
We'll have the full scoop next week, so stay tuned.
2014 Hyundai Accent gets updated styling, added convenience features
Fri, 15 Nov 2013Integrated blind-spot mirrors are hardly a luxury item, but they're one of the simplest yet most welcome equipment developments we've seen in some time, and we're glad to see them beginning to spread throughout the industry's offerings. The 2014 Hyundai Accent is the latest car to get them, along with a host of other new features.
Chief among the changes to Hyundai's entry-level offering are new projector headlamps that combine LED accents with a welcome-light function, along with an available B&M Racing sport shifter on the five-door SE hatchback. Other small-but-useful standard-equipment updates include triple-flash turn signals and sliding sun visors, while uplevel SE models are treated to a tilt/telescope steering wheel, updated audio system with improved ergonomics and voice recognition, auto-up driver's side window and the aforementioned upgraded projector headlamps.
Mechanically speaking, the Accent appears unchanged, with the sole engine offering consisting of Hyundai's well-regarded 1.6-liter Gamma four-cylinder delivering 138 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque to go along with its fuel economy ratings of 27 miles per gallon city and 38 highway.
How feasible is Hyundai's HCD-15 Santa Cruz pickup?
Tue, Jan 13 2015When the silk finally slipped off Hyundai's HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday, it was tangible, four-wheeled confirmation following years of rumors that the Korean automaker has been investigating the pickup market. Yet despite strong early critical and online reception, the likelihood of a production Hyundai pickup remains muddy at best. To be clear, Hyundai officials tell Autoblog there's nothing remotely production-ready lurking below the Santa Cruz's skin – it's a what-if concept designed to gauge customer reaction. But company officials say Hyundai is seriously investigating the possibility of a production pickup, and the company firmly believes that there's a market for a small, efficient unibody truck. According to John Krsteski, Manager at Hyundai Design North America, who spearheaded the project, Hyundai "is spending a lot of time right now still going through some studies on which types of platforms – whether it's a unique platform. It could be based on something like a Tucson ... we've looked at several different options." While Krsteski indicated that a platform hadn't been arrived at – and would likely need modifications – he says "it's definitely feasible." The Santa Cruz concept has a number of eye-catching features that would seem tough to produce – namely the slide-out rear bed extender that Krsteski says was influenced by the drawer-style ovens and dishwashers increasingly found in high-end kitchens. "We've had a couple of engineers in the studio and we did some study models on it, and we do think it's feasible – especially based on how we could package that inside there." With the extension in place, the small bed is large enough for a motocross bike to fit in on an angle. So what's next for the Santa Cruz? Hyundai has some internal studies it has completed and others that remain ongoing, and the company will work to gauge consumer response to the vehicle at auto shows and other events. Hyundai Motor America is clearly excited about the California-born project, but the toughest hurdle to a production pickup will likely be getting approval from headquarters in Korea. To that end, we've been led to understand that it was both telling and strategic that the Hyundai press conference was packed with Korean executives, who were on-hand in part to gauge media reaction to the Santa Cruz.
