2013 Hyundai Elantra Limited **only 3800 Miles** on 2040-cars
Minot, North Dakota, United States
My loss - your gain. I just got a job that offers me full time use of a company vehicle; so I don't need this brand new car. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car. I am taking a huge LOSS on this sale, but again - your gain. Below I have listed some of the major features and extras of this car. Get ahold of me through eBay and I can give you my phone number, I would be more than happy to speak with you about it. I would be willing to pay upfront for an independent mechanic inspection of the car, for your piece of mind. Also please note, I have this car listed locally and reserve the right to cancel this auction if it sells locally. Reserve is LESS than what a dealer would give me for a trade in or get at a dealer only auction. Thats right, I'm that desperate to sell it!!
10 year/100,000 mile TRANSFERABLE - BUMPER TO BUMPER warranty, a $2,400 value, which I paid for at time of purchase. If you buy any other used car it will only come with the remainder of the factory warranty, and it will not be as good as this one. Long range 2-way remote start - I have never tried to start this car and it not start, its that far, so I'm not even sure how far it can go! Front and rear heated seats - I know, I have never seen this before either. All the trimmings you would expect from a top of the model line car. I can send you a full list if you would like. Super clean - It has been siting in my garage for the past few months. |

Hyundai, Buick dealer apologize in wake of Chinese baby social media incident
Sat, 09 Mar 2013A very strange story out of China today, as Hyundai and a Chinese Buick dealer were forced to face allegations of using allusions to an infamous child murder on a social media site as a way of promoting the safety features of their respective vehicles.
The original sad tale goes something like this: On March 4, a man reported to police that he had left his infant child in a running Toyota RAV4 while he ran into a supermarket briefly. When he came back out, the vehicle and the child were gone. Later in the week a suspect turned himself in to the police; confessing to them that he had stolen a sport-utility vehicle, strangled the infant that was in it, and then buried the child in the snow.
As you might imagine, the gristly incident was covered massively in the Chinese media. (There was huge public outcry as well, as evidenced by the vigil scene, above.) "Changchun baby abduction" was very quickly amongst the highest ranking search teams of the China's Weibo social media site - an equivalent of Twitter in the English-speaking world.

Hyundai considering pickup after good reaction to Santa Cruz
Tue, Mar 17 2015The Hyundai HCD-15 Santa Cruz pickup concept was one of the stars of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show and even earned fifth place on Autoblog's Editors' Choice list of favorite debuts. The strong response might have been enough to get it made. Hyundai research and development director Park Byung-cheol said that the company was considering building the truck, according to Reuters. He warned, though, that there were still some obstacles in the way of the pickup arriving to showrooms without saying what those were. Rumors about Hyundai considering a pickup in the US go back several years but were fruitless. The Santa Cruz's unveiling really reignited things, though. The North American arm of the Korean brand reportedly chose Detroit for the debut so that foreign executives could see the media reaction to the concept. That gamble might have paid off. Hyundai's pickup at dealers might not look like the Santa Cruz concept, though. The company said the version in Detroit had nothing production-ready about it and even lacked an interior. At the time, a platform still hadn't been decided on, and the brand had several internal design studies underway. Related Video:
