2011 Hyundai Elantra Limited Black Metallic Exterior with Tan Leather Interior 65,138 highway miles Mechanically this car runs perfectly. No problems whatsoever. The car also has 2 brand new front tires, purchased a week ago. The bluetooth through the stereo is the best I have ever heard, and everyone I speak to says the same. Gets good gas mileage, and looks great. I have both original keys and remotes. This was my commuter car and took a few pebbles to the windshield and a few dents and dings from the parking lot. There is a sizable dent on the passenger side front quarter panel and some odd dimples on the hood and body. All are totally fixable and do not affect the car's performance or ability to be driven whatsoever - TOTALLY COSMETIC. Additionally, this car was rear ended twice leaving small scratches on the bumper (from license plate bolts), and it was hit on driver's side rear quarter panel when it was parked in the parking lot. HOWEVER - All of that very minor, minimal damage was expertly repaired in a body shop through my insurance. I am disclosing all of this "damage" so that there are no surprises, but it is all superficial damage and easily fixed, and none of it impacts the car's performance whatsoever. All of this damage occurred when the car was either parked or stopped at a light, with the exception of the windshield cracks. 2011 Elantras did NOT come with a spare tire, but Hyundai does offer 24/7 roadside assistance for free. I am willing to sell the car below what I believe Kelly Blue Book value is, due to the damage listed. Reserve price will be set fairly low. Lastly, I am not new to ebay. Please do not contact me asking for my bank account info., or to tell me about your "private hauler." This car is located in New Jersey and must be picked up in New Jersey, after we make agree on deal and shake hands. Any monkey business will be shot down in flames. Thanks for looking!!! :) |

Joyrider nearly collides with kids, chased down by cops
Tue, 03 Jun 2014A 14-year-old joyrider was able to outrun police in Utah but couldn't make it around a protective parent in a pickup truck. According to KSTU Fox 13 News in Utah, the thieving youngster's grandfather reported the white Hyundai Veloster missing, and police were already searching for it. As it turns out, his grandson had taken it and was driving like a crazy person. He even sped through a park where children were playing and into a neighborhood (video below).
Eventually, one of the parents at the park had enough. When the Hyundai appeared to be coming back to the park, he hopped into his pickup to stop the out of control teen and put himself in harm's way. After the violent way he was stopped by an oncoming truck, the kid might think twice about stealing any more cars. Bystanders got most of the incident on cell phone videos, including the crash, and you can scroll down to watch them and the news report for a little more backstory.
Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept coming to Frankfurt
Wed, Aug 26 2015Hyundai will be using the Frankfurt Motor Show to tout its N Performance sub-brand and the future possibilities it could create. A purely conceptual extrapolation comes via the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo, which joins the expanding list of carmaker-created superfast racers for Sony's Playstation game. The company's 2016 World Rally Championship entrant will grace the stand, previewing the car Hyundai will use to try to dethrone Volkswagen. It is a completely new racecar based on the next-generation five-door i20, still undergoing testing now but planned for competition at the 2016 Monte Carlo Rally. The RM15 concept shown at the Seoul Motor Show will be the third demonstration of Hyundai's enthusiast intentions. The carmaker says the mid-engined, Veloster-based coupe is about "suggesting how N driver-focused technologies could come into production," but we imagine that won't mean installing a 296-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbo-four where the rear seats are. All three cars are intended to rework perceptions of the South Korean company, which is working to "create striking and pioneering high performance cars" and make "real and emotional connections with customers." There's a press release below with more details, and a gallery of the N 2025 concept above that will be arriving in GT6 soon. Hyundai Motor's New High Performance Sub-brand 'N' Takes Center Stage at Frankfurt Motor Show - The sub-brand N will build new momentum for an exciting driving performance and provide emotional driving experience for customers - The latest motorsport challenger and two dynamic concepts will also be introduced at the Motor Show August 26, 2015 – Hyundai Motor will showcase its high performance sub-brand N at the Frankfurt International Motor Show 2015. The result of intensive testing and product development, the sub-brand N builds on Hyundai Motor's successful motorsport experiences and technology capability to drive future performance-oriented and race-track-capable models forward and bring 'the most thrilling winding road' fun to customers who truly love cars. The N builds on not just Hyundai Motor's continued advancement as a primary competitor in World Rally Championship (WRC) but also on the company's dedication and investment to create striking and pioneering high performance cars.
2015 Hyundai Genesis Sedan can be yours for under $40K [w/video]
Mon, 13 Jan 2014While we've already tested Hyundai's all-new, second-generation Genesis Sedan in its home market, the Korean brand unveiled the American-spec luxury car to the sleep-deprived journalists of Detroit.
The big sedan isn't wildly different from its KDM counterpart, boasting the same pair of engines that have done so well in the first-generation car. The 5.0-liter V8 still produces 429 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque, while the 3.8-liter V6 returns 333 hp and 291 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the current cars, the standard eight-speed automatic can send power to all four wheels, if so optioned. Rear drive remains standard.
The big piece of news surrounding the new Genesis is that Hyundai is aiming to keep the luxury sedan's starting price below $40,000. We knew official pricing hadn't been released, but according to a report from Automotive News, the company is confident the entry level models should remain quite reasonably priced.
