2008 Hyundai Elantra 4 Door Sedan, Very Clean, Low Mileage 24,202 on 2040-cars
Suffern, New York, United States
You are bidding on a 2008 Hyundai Elantra 4 Door Sedan. I am selling this car for my father, he is turning 89 and decided to stop driving. Dad is the original owner. Selling the car solves some family issues. The car is in near mint condition and has 24,202 miles on it. It comes from a smoke free home and he has aways kept it garaged. The car also has been well maintained (oil changes every 3,000 miles, washed/waxed regularly, new brakes & rotors). The mileage on it is a mix of local and highway. He did regular trips to Cape May, AC and the Pennyslvania resorts. The car runs great. Plenty of power. Great tire aligment, it drives straight on the highway, the wheels have no side pull. Everything on the car works. I did a car fax report on the car. It is clean with no issues. This is a unique opportunity, for a well maintained, near mint car with low mileage. Don't let it slip by. Local pick up only, it is too big for me to ship. However I will work with you, if you arrange the shipping. The car is in Suffern, NY. A $500.00 Paypal deposit is required within 24 hours from the end of the auction. If you have any questions please ask and I will be glad to help. Thanks for looking and good luck.

2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo gets stripped-down, lower-cost R-Spec model
Wed, 20 Nov 2013We Autoblog staffers have had our ups and downs with our long-term 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, but there's no question that the cheeky three-door hatchback has got its proponents. Case in point: at the recent driving event for the fire-breathing SRT Viper TA, none other than Ralph Gilles sauntered over to have a closer look at the matte grey Veloster we'd driven out to the track that day. Gilles had lots of praise for the Veloster styling; not out of line with similar sentiments we've heard all year long.
We digress slightly, but the larger point is that there still seems to be a lot of interest in the Veloster, and Hyundai has plans to fully explore potential new marketplace niches for the car with this all-new, 2014 Veloster Turbo R-Spec.
Following on with the formula for R-Spec models to date, the new Veloster is not a higher-performance Turbo, but rather one that is more affordable. The theory goes that a de-contented Veloster Turbo hits the sweet spot for those who are interested in tuning the car for performance, a group that will probably not need the higher spec comfort and connectivity content that the standard Turbo ships with.

2015 Hyundai Sonata found uncovered in Korea
Wed, 12 Mar 2014Hyundai is locked and loaded to debut its redesigned, 2015 Sonata at the New York Auto Show next month. For one enterprising Korean photographer, however, the reveal just couldn't come soon enough.
A South Korean website called Bobaedream.co.kr unceremoniously published some images of what would appear to be a completely undisguised example of the new Sonata. Korean Car Blog quickly followed up on the leak, claiming that the car in question was fitted with Hyundai's 2.0-liter turbocharged GDI engine, making 274 horsepower, and connected to an all-new, seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Whether that information came from a reliable insider source (as the photos would suggest) or was just a best guess, we can't say. But we can see what direction Hyundai is headed in with the Sonata. The front end seen in the spy shots is more or less what we'd already seen in the last teaser picture, with a new headlamp design helping to set off a prominent grille. The grille does seem to have some element of the strong, graphical surround from the teaser, too, though it's not as defined in these low-resolution pictures. Sheetmetal on the hood and bodysides seems cleaner, straighter and less fussy than in the current car, too. As for whether or not this is the Korean-spec car or the one destined for the US market, that's unclear, though we have been told that the two cars do look very similar.
