I am relisting car with a better description. Up for auction is a clean 2005 Hyundai accent GT. It has 146000 miles but doesnt show like these miles. The car is very clean and rides great. The car is getting inspected Monday afternoon to fix a check engine light. The car is also getting rear sway bar bushings as well. I have 2500 in receipts for maintenance that has been done to this car over the last year. This car needs nothing. I replaced the following parts; timing belt done at 128k miles, new oil pan gasket, both front end tie rods, new rear struts done in september, four new firestone all weather tires (90 % tread), coolant and transmission(synthetic fluid) fluids flushed and replaced and of course regular oil changes. Inspection is good until sept/2015 in NJ. Car has no leaks! I average about 30 to 33 mpg. Car has ice cold A/C. This vehicle has never been in an accident. Transmission shifts without hesitation. I am also changing the oil on Monday as well. All services were performed at Hackettstown Hyundai in NJ. Struts were replaced by a local shop however. This is a no reserve auction. I do reserve the right to end auction early as it is for sale locally. Do not be afraid of the mileage on this car. It still has a lot of life left. Exterior of car shines like new and Interior is in near mint condition. I hate to let this car go but i bought a larger car and dont have the room in my driveway for this car. this will be a great commuter car.

Hyundai: Dad
Mon, Feb 8 2016Even though we know Hyundai is launching Genesis as its own brand, Kevin Hart is here to tell you something very important about the current Hyundai Genesis: it's great for helicopter parents wanting to keep an eye on unchaperoned sons and daughters. There are other perfectly good uses for Hyundai's Blue Link smartwatch app, but we think concerned parents will pay close attention to this feature. Watch the ad and see if Kevin Hart delivers the laughs. Marketing/Advertising Hyundai Super Bowl Commercials 2016 super bowl ad
2018 Hyundai Kona improves headlights to get top IIHS award
Wed, Aug 29 2018Only about two months ago, the IIHS tested the 2018 Hyundai Kona subcompact crossover for safety, and it did well in almost every category except headlights. The subpar lights meant it only received the second-highest award available from the organization: Top Safety Pick. But now Hyundai has updated the lights, and IIHS agrees that some of them are a massive improvement, enough to upgrade the rating to Top Safety Pick+. The versions of the Kona that have the highly rated lights are Limited and Ultimate trims with projector LED lights. The rating applies to cars built after May 2018, and the main improvement is reduction in glare for oncoming drivers. While these high-level Konas now have solid lights, the IIHS still rates base models with the halogen lights as "Poor" due to weak forward illumination. All of this makes the Kona an attractive crossover option. Not only does it have good crash test results and headlights, but it's actually an enjoyable car to drive, particularly with the spunky turbo engine. Add in the distinctive, funky styling, and the Kona is a stand-out in its class. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Next-gen Hyundai Genesis reveals new skin on 'Ring
Wed, 17 Apr 2013The launch of the next-generation Hyundai Genesis is drawing closer and closer, and this latest set of spy shots gives us our best look yet at the Korean automaker's new sedan. Caught testing on the Nürburgring, we're not only getting a better look at the finer details of the Hyundai's exterior, but this set of photos gives us a clear view inside the cockpit, as well.
For its new generation, the Hyundai Genesis appears to be moving a bit more upmarket in terms of materials and layout, with a redesigned steering wheel, gauge cluster and center stack. The current car's analog clock appears to be left intact, smack dab in the middle of the heating and cooling controls, but the rest of the updates look decidedly more modern and, if we're honest, a bit German.
Outside, it's obvious that the new Hyundai will wear a more aggressive front fascia, along with what appears to be a more rakish rear deck. Earlier reports have stated that the next Genesis will be much lighter than the current car, and with a much more sporty tune to the suspension. We'll know more when the car is officially revealed, though it's still unclear exactly when that will be.
