You are bidding on a two owner 2008 Hummer H2 SUT. They do not make these vehicles anymore, so this could become a collectible. I am the second owner because I inherited this vehicle from my father who took a lot of care of this truck.

DETAILS AND FEATURES:
The vehicle is in excellent condition inside and out. The paint is a rare GM color. The name of it is Ultra Marine. It changes colors in different angles of sunlight. It is considered blue, but changes to green and purple at different angles (view pictures.) This was a stock color for Limited edition, luxury Hummers in 2008. There are a couple of rock chips on the hood that you would not even notice if I don't point them out. The vehicle is also 'chromed out.' It has limited edition Hummer H2 20" chrome rims, as well as chrome accents over the marker lights, and tail lights. My father loved this truck very much, and I am happy to have it, but it no longer suits me as I live in Queens now. It's not exactly a small vehicle, and tends to not fit in most parking garages. Although it is easy to parallel park as the mirrors tilt, and there is a rear view camera. The truck is about 6'7" in height. Also, let me reiterate, this truck is not for the faint of heart when it comes to fuel consumption. Expect 13mpg on the highway, and about 10mpg in the city. This truck is supercharged. It has a pro-charger P-1SC-1 that was installed by GM/Hummer when my father purchased this vehicle brand new. The factory also tuned this vehicle specifically for this supercharger. The truck also has a full exhaust system from the headers all the way to the muffler. All of this was put on by GM back when the truck was purchased. Personally, I have only installed two items onto this vehicle. The first being a boost gauge, and the second being a K&N Air filter. This truck pushes about 3-4 lbs of boost. The install was done right, as this truck runs perfectly and has given me no issues. I've had the engine oil changed every 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic and the Pro-charger Oil has been changed with Genuine pro-charger oil. I have extra bottles of pro-charger oil which I will include. All four tires match, and are the OEM tires that came with this truck with a good amount of tread life left on them. There is a TV for the rear passengers to view DVD's or hook up a gaming system. The truck also comes with wireless headphones, which my father and myself have never used. The H2 has a stock navigation system, and a Bose stereo system. It is capable to receive Sirius XM Radio, and also has OnStar. The visor also has homelink for your garage or gates that require a remote. Vehicle has dual climate control, and the AC and heat both work fantastic. Seat warmers on both front seats and the rear seats. Truck has auto-start stock.

Flaws:
Rock chips on the hood.
Missing front license plate holder (fell off)

Shipping and Payment:
Vehicle will have a reserve price.
Winning bidder must pay a $500 deposit immediately after the auction concludes via PayPal.
Winning bidder must pick up this vehicle, I will not be 'shipping' this truck.
Must pay in full at time of pickup with only secure methods of payment. Cash, bank check, etc. NO PERSONAL CHECKS

If you have any questions about anything regarding this truck, don't hesitate to contact me.

I would like to add more photos later on, but if eBay doesn't let me just shoot me a message and I'll email you more once I take them.

Thank you.

The GMC Hummer EV could spawn a smaller electric truck

Thu, Oct 20 2022

Over 90,000 motorists have reserved a GMC Hummer EV, and the truck's relative popularity has convinced executives to consider launching a smaller and presumably more affordable model. While nothing is official yet, the Hummer EV's smaller sibling could be a midsize pickup. Citing "people familiar with the matter," Automotive News reported a smaller Hummer EV exists in the design studio that General Motors operates in California. There's no word on what it looks like yet, though it presumably borrows at least some of the rugged-looking styling cues that characterize the controversial, 9,200-pound truck. Interestingly, the smaller model could bring the Hummer name to Europe. It's too early to provide technical specifications. The model hasn't received the proverbial green light for production but Automotive News added that it's a "priority project" and that it has "a good chance of going into production." If and when it does, it's reasonable to assume the truck will use the Ultium battery technology found under the full-size Hummer EV, among other electric models from General Motors. GMC hasn't commented on the report, and it hasn't announced plans to launch a second Hummer-branded electric pickup. If the report is accurate, the baby Hummer is at least a couple of years away from hitting showrooms. First, the Hummer EV SUV will enter production. We've been here before: a downward expansion is exactly how the now-defunct Hummer brand was born. The military-bred H1 spawned the H2 for 2002 and the H3 for 2006. An even smaller off-roader previewed by the 2008 HX concept was planned but ultimately canned. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. Watch the 2022 GMC Hummer EV launch using its Watts to Freedom mode

Thu, Jul 1 2021

It’s nearly the July Fourth weekend, and GM is celebrating Independence Day a little earlier than most. The celebration comes in the form of a GMC Hummer EV demonstrating Watts to Freedom, or WTF, mode for us on video. You can watch it at the top of this post, but the idea is rather simple. ItÂ’s just a video of a Hummer development vehicle accelerating as quickly as it can from 0-60 mph and beyond. GMC claims its 1,000-horsepower electric Hummer is capable of hitting the 0-60 mph mark in “approximately 3 seconds,” which is borderline terrifying for how large of a vehicle it is. The super-quick time is possible when using the Watts to Freedom launch control mode, which “channels the propulsion systemÂ’s tremendous power into acceleration bursts.” The truck will still be plenty fast when accelerating normally, but WTF mode is what you should use to unlock its full potential. GMCÂ’s video shows us the graphics it uses in the digital cluster to signal Watts to Freedom is activated, and the whole sequence looks like it leans on U.S. military themes for both design and phrasing. For example, GMC lets you know that Watts to Freedom is ready via an “Armed” message in the cluster.  The 2022 GMC HUMMER EV is a first-of-its kind supertruck develop View 40 Photos Instead of a rumbling exhaust and screeching tires, the Hummer appears to silently launch with all four tires grabbing on and catapulting the truck away. It looks quick as it throws all of the weight rearward into an accelerative squat. And in case you missed it, thatÂ’s a lot of weight — GMC says itÂ’ll tip the scale at 9,046 pounds. GMC has previously said that production will begin in late 2021, and this video continues to confirm that timeframe with a note saying “initial availability Fall 2021.” Do keep in mind that only the sold-out Launch Edition is coming at that time. Other cheaper variants will follow in the years to come. Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. GM crab walked the Hummer EV truck up and down Woodward this weekend

Mon, Aug 23 2021

Sometimes, manufacturers like to show off their fancy new wares at the Woodward Dream Cruise. It’s largely done through static showcases with big displays for the public to gawk at. However, GM did something a little different with its GMC Hummer EV truck this year. Instead of parking it at the Chevy and GM display area, it took to Woodward Avenue itself to show off the Hummer in pre-production form. Not only did GM drive the electric truck on the road in front of thousands, but it crab walked the whole way. This was our first time, and probably most of the publicÂ’s first time seeing the Hummer EV crab mode in person. Judging from the crowdÂ’s reaction (GM got its wish of everybody paying attention), folks are impressed, and maybe a bit confused at the HummerÂ’s sideways movements.  ItÂ’s a strange spectacle to see in person. At first, the truck appears as though itÂ’s sliding sideways on ice in a smooth, graceful slide. ThatÂ’s because even though the wheels are turned, the front of the truck is still pointing dead straight ahead. The GM employee behind the wheel of the prototype appeared to be moving forward at about 5-10 mph — it appears shockingly quick in person for the way this behemoth of a truck presents itself. The tech making it work is rather simple in concept. GM simply took existing rear-wheel steering technology, then amplified and modified it for this type of movement. Whereas most cars with rear-wheel steering max out at around 5 degrees of lock with the rear wheels, this Hummer can turn the wheels up to 10 degrees. Turn the wheel left or right in crab mode, and the Hummer moves diagonally down the street. If you use it for its intended purpose, crab mode is meant to help you navigate the Hummer through trails it might otherwise be too big to fit through using regular steering. In reality, we suspect most folks might use crab mode in the exact same fashion as GM did this past weekend: to impress people. And honestly, we canÂ’t blame them. It was a seriously cool sight to see. Crab mode in action: This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
