Very exciting - this is a rare and special Hummer H1 Open Top that we just received in on trade from one of my customers for a new 2014 Mercedes Benz GL Luxury SUV.

If you crave the Real Hummer – the Right Hummer – this is a GREAT ORIGINAL Hummer !

I took this is on trade on Friday afternoon - I have posted a quick photo from today's trade-in -exactly as I received it in today - and on a 20 degree icy day - that's way cold for Arkansas !

I have listed this as a 3-day auction before our Marketing Department takes over this Hummer next Tuesday - and our Marketing Department will do fan this out next week thru our wide media - and once they do - this H1 will sell quickly to a Hummer enthusiast who is looking for a GREAT unmolested original - and I fully expect my Marketing Dept to set their official listing substantially higher than the Buy-It-Now price I have listed here !

This is the Real Hummer - Diesel - and 2002 was the 10th Anniversary of the Hummer H1 - and 2002 marked the 1st year of updated H1 front cabin design for more generous front cabin comfort with expanded front leg room for over the previous H1 production models 1992-2001 - and from my personal experience - the Open Top is way more comfortable to begin than those H1 Tin Top wagons - and the Open Top is much more fun too !

Most importantly - garage kept - this 2002 H1 is original and unmolested condition - this H1 looks and drives exactly as it came from the factory.

Other than addition of upgraded stereo head unit with integrated Navigation and Satellite Radio - there have been no engine, body, or chassis modifications of any kind.

There are Hummer's out there that have been "customized" or "restored" - and 9 times out of 10 that work has been done to overcome previous off-road damage and abuse and/or poor add-on choices by previous owner's.

This Hummer is UNMOLESTED ORIGINAL - what you do with this Hummer is up to you - and you won't have to overcome previous off-road damage or cosmetic hack jobs.

This H1 was traded in by a local pharmacist who is also a gun enthusiast - he used his H1 to drive to regional ranges for competition - his Hummer was his emotional and spiritual "edge" so to speak for his passion for competitive shooting,

This H1 has had recent maintenance done by a experienced Certified Hummer Technician in our local area - the technician frankly reported that this H1 is in the finest mechanical condition he has seen in recent years - there are no mechanical issues of any kind whatsoever.

Northwest Arkansas is a salt-free area - and previous ownership records I see shows prior ownership from salt-free areas as well - no salt - garage kept - when I looked over this H1 personally on trade-in today - I doubt this H1 has ever been challenged by even a serious highway pot hole !

I am offering this H1 at BIN $49,870 - make use of the Ebay or any web engine web for a competitive search - and you will NOT find another H1 in original condition anywhere in the US at this price range - this is a unique opportunity to own the Real Hummer - the Right Hummer - a GREAT Hummer at exceptional price.

Arkansas does not charge sales tax to out-of-state buyers, and our added dealership service and handling fee not included in the Buy-It-Now is exactly $129 which will include 30 day Arkansas temp tag to allow you to register and tag in your residence state.

My name is Terry Fabbri - I have been a Mercedes owner and enthusiast for over 30 years - and I have been in your position shopping for that "special vehicle" long distance - I have bought special Mercedes on eBay and thru the web - and from my experience - TRUST with the person you are dealing with is key.

My direct cell # is (479) 936-6220 - call or text me directly on my cell with any questions you might have - I commit straightforward and accurate answers - as you should expect from a top Mercedes Benz professional !

I work for one of the Top 50 Best-Of-The-Best Mercedes dealerships in the entire US - that's the team I work for - top notch !

A non-refundable $1000 deposit by PayPal is required immediately to end this auction - the balance will be due within 3 working days - which can be made by wire transfer directly to our Mercedes dealership - or by verifiable US cashier's check from a US bank.

For customers that choose to inspect and pickup here - we are located 20 minutes from the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (airport designator XNA) - as Bentonville is also the work headquarters of Walmart - XNA is serviced by major airlines.

If your prefer door-to-door delivery - our Transport Dept will be happy to assist in booking fully insured truck transport - the same carriers we use to transport Mercedes across the country - at the same rate - and upon delivery those transportation charges can be paid by credit card directly to the best carrier we can secure for your route.

This is very special opportunity for you - and your time is valuable to me - tick, tock - the 3-day clock is ticking.

Keep the beat !

2022 GMC Hummer Edition 1 weighs 9,063 pounds

Wed, Feb 23 2022

From the beginning, the Hummer line of vehicles has been synonymous with the phrase, "absolute unit." The M998 Humvee turned to civilian use as the Hummer H1 came with a curb weight of 7,560 pounds depending on configuration. The much more urbane Hummer H2 didn't sacrifice much of those gains, putting about 6,615 on the scales. Let us not forget that the behemoth gravitational pull and square-jawed mass were what every Hummer buyer wanted. So, starting with the brand values and customer demand, and adding the fact that electric vehicles are substantially heavier than their ICE counterparts, no one should be surprised that the 2022 GMC Hummer Edition 1 weighs 9,063 pounds. That's just one of the substantial figures GMC included in a self-certification filing submitted to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the document rooted out by Car and Driver. Last year GMC told us the Hummer would weigh 9,046 pounds, which proves again the Freshman 15 (or 16) is unavoidable.  Loaded up with humans and their accessories, the truck's gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) comes in at 10,550 pounds. It takes a few other big numbers to keep that kind of tonnage on the go. The Ultium battery weighs 2,923 pounds. With a 617-amp-hour capacity at 400 volts, total capacity comes in at 246.8 kWh, specific energy at 158 Wh/kg. Usable capacity is about 85% less, at 212.7 kWh. For the time being, these numbers put every other pack in a production vehicle in the shade. That gargantuan chemical plant in the Hummer's floor powers a 329-mile range the same way a giant fuel tanks feed a truck that gets 8 miles to the gallon. The miles per gallon equivalent figures GMC submitted to the EPA are 51 MPGe city, 43 MPGe highway, 47 MPGe combined. Motor Trend questioned whether GM applied the correction factor used for window sticker numbers; if not, the standard 0.7 correction drops the MPGe specs to 36 city, 30 highway, and 33 combined. However, trucks with a GVWR beyond 8,500 pounds don't need to display fuel economy figures on their window stickers, so don't expect to see any such details on dealer lots. For comparison, the Rivian R1T Launch Edition weighs about 7,000 pounds, and fits a 128.9 kWh battery good for an estimated 314 miles estimated at 70 MPGe.

Mil-Spec M1-R First Drive Review | The ultimate Hummer H1 gets better

Fri, Apr 9 2021

In 2018, we got our first introduction to Mil-Spec, a company that sought to do to Hummer H1s what other resto-mod companies like Singer and Icon have done to other classic cars. Its initial run of hopped-up Hummers showed quite a bit of promise with an array of mechanical upgrades, including a particularly potent and entertaining diesel engine, plus major improvements to interior livability and luxury. As good as the initial trucks were, Mil-Spec wanted to do even better. It focused on details such as better materials and ergonomics for what it’s calling the second-generation of restored H1s. And all those upgrades are on display in the M1-R, which takes the second-gen M1 and adds some pretty extreme customer-requested modifications. @autoblog WhatÂ’s that? Oh nothing, just a Mil-Spec M1-R rolling on by ##autoblog ##hummer ##m1r ##custom ##fyp ? original sound - Autoblog As with all Mil-Spec Hummers, the M1-R received a comprehensive restoration, taking the body and frame down to bare metal. It was recoated in a durable bedliner-style material made with bits of Kevlar. This particular one was given a tint to make it look like one of the factory H1 colors, Competition Yellow. Steel off-road bumpers, a front brush guard, rear tubular tire rack, fender flares and door panels finished in plain black add contrast and help give it a more rough-and-tumble look. The simple and rugged 20-inch Black Rhino wheels look right at home on the truck, too, especially wrapped in the 38-inch off-road tries. Most of the improvements in the second-gen M1 are found within the cabin. As before, every upholstered surface is made of leather, in this case with diamond stitching that the customer requested. ItÂ’s all done in-house (fun fact, Mil-Spec is now also doing upholstery for private jets). Virtually every non-upholstered surface is made from machined aluminum. That includes the steering wheel, climate control knobs, air vents, window switches, turn signal stalks, even the custom-made ignition key. They all look and feel superb with hefty weight and crisp edges. The toggle switches are a particular treat and return a light, mechanical click with each press. Some of them are a little tough to reach as a result of the HummerÂ’s strange interior layout, but that would be the case even in a stock Hummer. These aluminum pieces are a massive step up from the plastic rocker switches and air vents used on previous Mil-Spec Hummers.
