Up for sale is my Honda S2K. I am selling it to begin building my new Jaguar F-Type. This car has a clean title and carfax with zero accidents or damage. EVERY SINGLE modification was JUST put on within the last 3 months. This car was BONE STOCK 3 months ago. You can forget how many miles are on the car cause the only thing that those miles apply to is the chassis. All these parts are under warranty from their original manufacturer. I have receipts for almost everything on the car. All of the work was completed by a very reputable shop and I have paperwork for the parts/labor. The car runs mechanically 100% (if not, better)! It puts out roughly 500 hp. I have dyno graphs for the car at 450 horsepower but I have since added a larger supercharger pulley and removed the cat and retuned. This car has less than 200 miles since all of these mods were put on. I have the original motor as well that is also mechanically perfect (may or may not come with purchase). You could drive this car to California and back all day, every day. Buying this car is like buying a 2014 car in terms of reliability. Below is a list of things that I have done to the car. I will not remove anything from the car. You get it all! I will also throw in anything I still have left over from the stock car if you need/want it. Contact me if you would like to see it in person or take it for a ride. I am sure that I have not listed everything. You will notice the far left of the firewall is a different color green (in the engine bay). It is like this because I am a perfectionist and I wanted to fill the last small hole in the bay after it was painted. I have all the paint materials needed to have this corner of the bay re-sprayed. This car gets compliments everywhere it is taken. I recently won a contest with dipyourcar products that includes free materials and labor to dip the car a color of my choice. I may or may not have the car dipped before this car is purchased. If the car is dipped and you do not like it, just remove it! Please do not bid on the car if you do not have financing to pay for it if you win! I have an entire album with hundreds of pictures taken from start to finish of the car being built. If you would like to see anymore pics or videos, email me and I will happily send them to you. Please ask as many questions as you would like! Only flaw on car is a small ripple in the leather in the interior of the passenger door. I priced this door trim piece on Ebay and Craigslist for $30-$50. Call me at 828-215-0393 or email me at sox_baby64@hotmail.com with questions or real offers. ****REVISION**** This car has been dipped in Komodo Flip Pearl! See new pictures.

McLaren-Honda drops the bling for stealth F1 livery
Wed, May 6 2015Watch a Formula One grand prix and you can instantly tell which are the McLarens, visible as they are from a mile away with their reflective chrome livery. But that's all about to change as the British team has dropped the chrome in favor of the more subdued livery you see here. Unveiled in time for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix, the new McLaren livery replaces the bling with a gray so dark that it borders on black. The red accents remain, albeit in a revised pattern. The new livery promises to be less reflective at sunset and flood-lit night races especially, while providing more of a visual break from the Mercedes era now that the team is powered once again by Honda. McLaren first adopted the silver and black livery in 1997 after Marlboro (with its white and red livery) left for Ferrari and the West tobacco brand was brought in instead. The team parted company with West after the ban on tobacco advertising in sports was instituted in Europe in 2005, inserted some red into the livery and replaced the flat silver with chrome. This weekend's race will mark the first time in a decade, then, that McLaren will be racing without the chrome. Honda to field this awesome Civic Tourer wagon in BTCC next season
Tue, 03 Dec 2013We all know that the letters BTCC stand for British Touring Car Championship. But one of those Cs might as well stand for Civic, so dominant has the Honda team been in one of the most competitive tin-top racing series in the world. Honda has taken the manufacturers' and teams' titles in the BTCC for the past four years running, and the championship-winning drivers for the past three years have claimed the prize behind the wheel of a Civic. While that might have proven enough for any other manufacturer, Honda is returning again next season to defend its dominant position, and has just revealed the new car with which it intends to do so.
Next year Honda will be back on the grid with another Civic, only this time it's based on the new Euro-spec Civic Tourer. That will make Honda the only team in the BTCC (and one of only a few worldwide) fielding a wagon-based racing car. In announcing the new BTCC-spec Civic Tourer, the Honda Yuasa Racing team only released this one photo and didn't reveal much in the way of details, but team manager Peter Crolla indicated that "the weight, wheelbase, layout and suspension remain the same" as the hatchback which it will replace, only with a longer roofline.
Testing of the new touring wagon will commence in January before returning champions Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal will pilot the new Civic Tourer in the season opener at Brands Hatch in the UK in late March. It remains to be seen what car Andrew Jordan (who took the title this year in another Civic with the Pirtek Racing team) will be driving next season, but in the meantime, you can check out the full press release below for more.
American motorcycle brands most satisfying, Japanese most reliable, says Consumer Reports
Fri, Apr 10 2015Consumer Reports started tracking motorcycle reliability last year through its regular reader survey, just like the magazine's well-known auto guide. For the 2015 edition, CR now has data on over 12,300 bikes, compared to 4,680 in 2014, and the extra info means it can include more brands, like Suzuki, Triumph and Can-Am, to the list. However, the final results remain largely the same. As with last year, Japanese bikes are the best choice for buyers who prioritize reliability. Yamaha comes out on top yet again and is followed by Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda. Victory and Harley-Davidson hold the middle of the list, and the European cycles from Triumph, Ducati and BMW sit at the bottom. The major outlier in this regional distinction is the Can-Am Spyder from Canada's Bombardier Recreational Products that comes in dead last in the dependability survey. Still, even the most dependable model is occasionally going to break, and the average repair bill across all brands is $342, according to CR's readers. Kawasakis are the cheapest to keep on the road at a median of $269 for fixes, versus BMW as the most expensive at $455. Through all of the companies, electrical gremlins are the most common issue, causing 24 percent of problems, but faults with the cooling system, pistons or transmission are the smallest concerns at 4 percent each. While Japanese cycles might be the easiest to keep on the road, they aren't the most beloved by riders. In CR's gauge of satisfaction, the Americans reign supreme. Victory owners love their bikes the most with 80 percent reporting that they would buy another. Harley riders are known for having a close bond to the company's models, and the brand comes in second with 72 percent. Finally, Honda rounds out the top three at 70 percent. Head over to Consumer Reports to see more results. News Source: Consumer ReportsImage Credit: Toby Brusseau / AP Photo BMW Honda Suzuki Motorcycle Ducati bike victory
