You are looking at a awesome 2005 Honda S2000.  I say awesome because it has been a great car as long as I have had it.  I only want to sell it because it is to bright here in San Diego and I have to get out of the Sun.  I have included in my auction a bottle of sun screen so, you don't get sunburned when you go for long drives with the top down.  I know this is not the first time you have looked at this car so I am not going to bore you with all the standard features because, you know all the AP2's pretty much came all the same.  So if you want to go see the standard features go look at some lame dealers listing,  It will tell you about the air bags and stuff.

First of all I have never worked on this car myself.  All work has been done by different legitimate Honda garages.

Stuff I have had done

New rear tires 97k miles
Front tires 60% 97k  miles
New 8 way adjustable struts @97k miles (only part not stock on the whole car). $1500.00
New belt @ 98k miles
New top last year.  Honda top, installed by the people that do the work for SD honda dealers.  $1500.00 No leaks
90k service completed
Vales adjusted @90k miles
Clutch master cylinder replaced a few years ago
Drivers side window regulator replace also a few years ago
XM satelite radio and pioneer deck with remote.  Sub and amp will be sold with the car if the bids reach $11,000.
Everything else is stock.
California Car since 2009 at least.
Never seen snow or ice, since 2009 at least

The not perfect stuff
All wheels have a little curb rash.
Drivers seat is a little worn on side,
Couple of door dings,
Front skirt has some scratches,
steering wheel has some wear,
Car Fax says it was in an accident, and 4 reported owners all before me.
previous appraisal said clutch is 2/3 gone,
Some paint peeling on drivers side rear where top starts (cant even see it in the pics, so small, probably from being repainted previously).
Only have one key.

I have had this car since 2009, if the oil change people suggested that I serviced something I always would.  At the last service they said that the belt had to be changed so I did it.
All said and done this car is in great shape.  Feel free to come check it out if you are close by.
If you have any questions or need more pics let me know.
I will ship it when payment is completed and, you set it up and pay.  Better if you just fly out here and drive it home.
$2000 dollar deposit required with 48 hours of auction is closed.  Pay pal ok. for down payment.
Bal. due before shipping, obviously.  Payment by cashiers check.

OK Go ride Honda UNI-CUB ? in latest amazeballs music video

Tue, Oct 28 2014

When Honda unveiled the slimmed-down ?eta version of its Uni-Cub last year, it might have thought the minimalist electric vehicle would find its most enthusiastic audience inside office buildings, where it would simultaneously lighten the load of worker drones and perhaps inject a bit of rolling robotic tech-type fun into an otherwise drab and dreary day. It was wrong. Clearly, this personal mobility machine was destined for greater things. Honda paid for the new video, which was shot a half-speed. When you watch it, you'll know why. For instance, it could be used for electric unicycle square dancing (Okay, technically the Uni-Cub ? employs one wheel and a caster-type ball, thereby disqualifying it from unicycle status, but whatever.) Or even better, it could be a platform upon which the power pop group OK Go and a few hundred Japanese school girls could perform awesome maneuvers, including the aforementioned electric unicycle square dancing, in their latest totally amazeballs video. Honda reportedly paid for the new video, which was shot at half-speed and when you watch it, you'll know why. Where before we thought this curious device, with its intuitive steering and self-balancing, would only really ever find a place as a demonstrator of Honda's engineering prowess, we now see it as a foregone conclusion that it will infest our daily lives and fill them with fantastic choreographed journeys of art. Thank you for opening our eyes, Ok Go. To have your own eyes opened, just scroll below for the visual accompaniment to I Won't Let You Down from the new album, Hungry Ghosts. As is the band's wont, it's all done in one take, and is sure to drop your jaw. Ok, go! This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.

Honda will build 2014 Accord Hybrid in Ohio

Thu, 10 Jan 2013

Honda has announced that it will invest $23 million in its Marysville, Ohio facility to support production of the upcoming 2014 Accord Hybrid sedan. According to the manufacturer, this means approximately 50 new jobs will be created, and the whole investment will result in a 95,000-square-foot expansion of the Marysville plant.
The Accord Hybrid joins the decidedly homely Accord PHEV (pictured) this fall, using a 2.0-liter i-VTEC Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine mated to a 124-kilowatt electric motor. Honda has yet to release official power or fuel economy figures for the non-plug-in hybrid version of the Accord.
Honda currently operates four manufacturing facilities in Ohio, with the combined capacity to build up to 700,000 cars and light trucks each year. The Japanese automaker also has a facility in Greensburg, Indiana, where the Civic Hybrid and Acura ILX Hybrid are built.

Half of Chinese car buyers won't shop Japanese over hard feelings

Mon, May 26 2014

The hard feelings between China and Japan is no real secret. Besides modern-day disputes, the two countries have had a long-running enmity that dates back to well before the atrocities of World War II. All things considered, then, it shouldn't be a shock that half of Chinese car buyers wouldn't consider a Japanese car. This survey, conducted by Bernstein Research, found that 51 percent of 40,000 Chinese consumers wouldn't even consider a Japanese car – which, again, isn't really surprising, when you consider stories like this. According to Bernstein, the most troubling thing is the location of these sentiments – smaller, growing cities where the population is going to need sets of wheels. We imagine it wouldn't be as big of an issue in traffic-clogged Shanghai or Beijing, but these small cities are going to become a major focus for automakers. "Nationalistic feelings are an impediment. [Japanese] premium brands will struggle," analyst Max Warburton wrote in a research note, according to The Wall Street Journal. Things will improve for Japanese makes, although China will remain a challenge, with Warburton writing, "the one thing that comes out most clearly is that most Chinese really want a German car. While we expect Japanese brands to continue to recover market share this year, ultimately the market will belong to the Germans." There are a few other insights from the study. According to WSJ, Japanese brands are viewed better than Korean brands, and they're seen as more comfortable than the offerings from Germany or the US, despite the fact that everyone in China apparently wants a German car. This is a tough position for the Japanese makes to be in, as there's really not a lot they can do to win favor with Chinese buyers. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, particularly as the importance of the PRC continues to increase year after year.
