2004 Honda S2000 Base Convertible 2-door 2.2l on 2040-cars
Morgantown, West Virginia, United States
S2000 trim. Leather, CD Player, Key-less entry, Immobilizer, Aluminum Wheels, Bone stock besides DIY splash guards, HID headlights, Edmunds Editors' Most Wanted Convertible Under $35,000.. This beautiful 2004 Berlina Black S2000 with the famous F22c1 motor was purchased in February of 2012 from an Infiniti dealership in Pittsburgh, PA with 32k miles. The car was traded in by a middle-aged salesman that worked at the dealership. Purchased by me, a young medical professional, who drove it solely to work and the occasional road-trip on nice days putting a little over 25k miles on it in a little over two years. Maintained meticulously, changing oil every 3000 miles, tranny, clutch and brake fluids every mid summer. 4/20/14 put new OEM front brake pads on while inspecting rotors and remaining back pads. Brand new Yokohama S-drives on rear with tire shop specials on front. The interior of this car is a touch away from immaculate. The only interior imperfection is slight chippage on the steering wheel which can be seen in the pictures and is hardly noticeable when driving. From the carpet to the leather seats, the interior has been maintained meticulously using only the finest products backed by extensive research. The exterior, however, does show a touch that it is a 10 year old car. There is absolutely no rust on this car but has slight cosmetic imperfections such as scraped paint on the front bumper and slight scratches which can be buffed out. The soft top could also be replaced but does not leak what-so-ever. The previous owner was unaware of the rubbing issues S2000s have when putting the automatic top down. This resulted in rubbing on the passenger side of the top which needed and is now patched (is pictured). I am selling this car simply because I am not in a position to enjoy it as much as I used to, which was already very little considering it feels like it is winter majority of the year in PA/WV. I am continuing my education and am always on call so this car is always sitting. This car was meant to be drove and I hope someone can enjoy it more than I did. Cafe racer motorbikes storm Japan
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Japan may be best known, at least among motorcycle enthusiasts, for its sport bikes. But as we found at the Tokyo Motor Show this year, Japanese motorcycle manufacturers are capable of producing all kinds of motorbikes. And to our delight, that includes cafe racers.
Along with the myriad electric bikes, dirt bikes, crotch rockets and scooters, the halls of Tokyo's Big Site convention center this year were full of the retro-infused rides we love. Chief among them was the Bolt (shown above) which Yamaha exhibited alongside their various electric two-wheelers, sporting a delicious metallic blue paintjob, inverted handlebars and hanging mirrors, machined metal bits, blacked-out trim and saddle brown leatherwork.
Honda was also on hand with a new EX version of its '70s-style CB1100 retro roadster in sinister and low-key matte black. And this was our first chance to check out BMW Motorrad's new birthday present to its 90-year-old self, the R NineT, a model recently unveiled at the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. But one of the most amusing retro rides we came across was the Honda Monkey Limited, a mini bike that makes the new 125cc Grom (which was displayed alongside it) look positively gigantic.
Honda and Michael Bolton wish you happy holidays, social-style
Mon, 18 Nov 2013There's nothing like landing a big celebrity for a high-profile advertising campaign to say to the world "Our brand has still got it!" Dodge, for instance, has been getting huge publicity by landing Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, to pitch its entire lineup on TV and on YouTube. Honda meanwhile, has reeled in the biggest fish in the 1990s Soft Pop category, the ineffable Michael Bolton. (We're assuming that Kenny G was booked.) We don't see how this can backfire, Honda.
In an effort to promote its annual holiday-season sales event, Honda has tapped the multitalented Bolton - he sings, acts and stares longingly at you from across the room - to dangle himself as a prize for ardent social media users. That's right, for the next few days (November 18 to 22), people that use the hashtag #XOXOBolton on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Vine, will be entered to win one-of-a-kind "musical greeting cards" from the now very blond crooner.
Not enough Bolton for you? Don't worry, Honda's got Michael booked for six TV commercials to air throughout the holiday season, too. Scroll down to get lost in Bolton's luxuriant eyes watch the promotional video from Honda.
Watch these guys creatively cover No Diggity in a Honda Civic
Mon, 17 Feb 2014People do some weird things in their cars. Take these two gentlemen and their Honda Civic. Rather than tune in to satellite radio or hook up an iPod, they've opted to create their own music.
YouTube musician Flula (in the passenger seat) and his friend Chester perform a cover of Blackstreet's Number-One Billboard hit, "No Diggity," complete with the requisite auto tuning, all while on the go. Is it weird that we almost prefer this wacky version to the original '90s R&B classic? Take a look - and a listen - by scrolling below, and note that we've included the original song featuring Dr. Dre... you know, for comparative purposes.
