This is a street legal, custom built racecar with a clear title. Drive it around town and to present it in car shows or take it to the track and run it wide open. Either way, this car will grab attention and turn heads.

This is a 2002 Honda S-2000. This black and yellow bullet spits out a whopping 750 horses on pump gas alone and that is before the separate methane injection kicks in. Additionally, this car also has a 2 stage turbo boost control! The No2 set-up in the trunk is a cooling system for the methane injection. It has WELL over $100,000 into it.

This car also has --

A $12,000 Tracy Sport modified body kit

Custom designed and made roll cage

Custom designed and made radiator with custom piping

3 and a half inch custom stainless dual exhaust

NRG Innovations Removable steering wheel

Weber Sports front bumper

Weber Sports Side Skirts

Weber Sports front carbon diffuser

$6000 in carbon fiber hood, roof and trunk

Kevlar racing bucket seats

Dog box 6 speed

Viper center section rear end

The above is merely a partial list of everything that went into this beast. No detail was left behind; from the custom head studs to the custom forged pistons -- this racecar has it all.

And, it runs just as good as it looks, the body is perfect, it includes a clear title. This car has always been garage kept - it has NEVER seen neither a single rain drop nor excessive sun.

Honda promises all-new Ridgeline within two years

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

Despite an aging design and low sales, Honda has remained committed to its Ridgeline pickup truck. Now, in its first official confirmation of a next-gen Ridgeline, Honda has released a teaser sketch (click to enlarge) of the new truck and promised a debut within two years, as previously reported.
The sketch shows the direction that Honda is planning for its new truck, which appears to ditch the single-piece body in favor of a more conventional pickup truck design. Even with the new design, it's not clear if Honda will move away from the Ridgeline's car-based platform shared with the Odyssey, Pilot and Accord. Sales of the Ridgeline dipped to below 10,000 units in 2011 but have increased steadily over the last two years (including 29 percent so far in 2013) with slightly more than 16,000 units on the year.
As for the current Ridgeline, Honda will wind down production at the Lincoln, AL assembly plant sometime during the middle of next year. The press release for the announcement is posted below.

Honda's Euro Civic hatch getting facelift, too

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

Honda's freshening of the Civic line isn't just limited to the North American market, as proven by these images of the Euro-spec model testing on Her Majesty's motorways.
According to our spies, this new Civic boasts a heavily restyled front fascia, with headlights and taillights that draw a quite a bit of inspiration from the Civic Type R Concept from the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The restyled front fascia has a sportier lean, with more significant lateral intakes and what looks like a slightly larger lower intake. It's more difficult to make out details on the rear of the car, although we can spot a modest little diffuser and a larger integrated spoiler.

Leno meets the nicest people on his bored-out Honda CB750

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

Jay Leno's Garage is back to its tried-and-true formula this week with Jay taking a close look at a seriously cool vehicle with a guest. This time he invites in Adam Gaspic from Gasser Custom to take a look at a highly customized 1975 Honda CB750.
The bike is really an amalgam of styles from different eras and various Honda parts. Its looks are inspired by '50s hot rods with its white-wall tires and satin, metallic fuel tank, but there is a little British café racer in there, as well. A digital instrument panel and LED turn signals lend an air of modernity to it, too. Mechanically, the bike rides on a modified '75 frame with the front and rear suspension from an '80s Honda. However, the pièce de résistance is its engine, bored out to 836cc with additional head work and a custom exhaust.
Once on the road, the bike really sings. It sounds just the way a classic Japanese motorcycle should with a mix of whine at high-revs with rumble down low. A cycle that mixes this many styles should probably be a mess, but this fuses it all together perfectly. Scroll down to take a look at this motorcycle mixing classic and modern in Jay Leno's Garage.
