THIS CAR IS A TRUE BEAUTY. IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. REALY LIKE NEW. ON A COUPLE LITTLE KNICKS AND A TINY SCRATCH OR TWO ON THE WHOLE CAR. IT HAS BEEN GARAGE KEPT AND UNDER A CAR COVER SINCE LEAVING THE SHOWROOM FLOOR. WAS ONLY AN OCCASIONAL WEEKEND DATE NIGHT CAR SINCE NEW. INTERIOR IS LIKE NEW. PLEASE STUDY ALL PICS CLOSELY. THE TIRES ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE WITH PLANTY OF TREAD LEFT, STILL LOOK NEW AS WELL. LOOK AT ENGINE, HAS NOT BEEN CLEANED FOR 2 YEARS. THAT IS HOW WELL IT HAS BEEN KEPT. THERE MAY BE A BUG OR TWO ON THE FRONT IN THE PICS BECAUSE I HAVE NOT WASHED IT SINCE THE LAST TIME I DROVE IT. THE CAR STILL SMELLS NEW. THIS WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT WORRY FREE CAR FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A HOT LITTLE CAR.

SUPER, SUPER FAST! IF YOU HAVE NEVER DRIVEN ONE OF THESE CARS GET READY. I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY HOW FAST THE CAR IS. THE ENGINE IS TRUELY BUILT LIKE A RACE CAR, IF YOU WANT TO GO IT WILL GO! BUT IT DRIVES SWEET WHEN YOU JUST WANT TO CRUISE. OH, AND IT IS A HONDA, THEY DON'T COME MUCH MORE RELIABLE. I WOULD PUT THIS CAR AGAINST ANY OTHER S2000 ON THE INTERNET FOR SALE AS FAR AS OVERALL CONDITION GOES. YOU WILL NOT BE UNHAPPY.

THERE ARE A COUPLE LITTLE CHIPS IN THE PAINT ON THE UNDERSIDE OFTHE FRONT BUMBER DUE TO TOUCHING A CURB WHEN PARKING. CAR SITS LOW. THERE ARE ONE OR TWO LITTLE NORMAL USE SCRATCHES ON THE DOORS BY THE HANDLE. REALISTICALLY THEY COULD MOST LIKELY BE BUFFED OUT. OTHER THAN THAT YOU WONT SEE A SINGLE BLEMISH. YOU REALLY WONT SEE WHAT I LISTED UNLESS I POINT THEM OUT EITHER. AND THEY WOULD BE SO EASY AND SIMPLE TO FIX IF IT BOTHERED YOU ANYWAY. THEY JUST DONT BOTHER ME.

ALWAY KEPT UP WITH ON SERVICE. I WOULD EASILY SAY IT WAS OVER SERVICED!! SERVICED ALWAYS LONG BEFORE IT WAS DUE. MOSTLY BECAUSE OF THE VERY LITTLE MILES IT WAS DRIVEN EVERY YEAR. SO THE MAINTENANCE WAS ALWAYS BASED ON TIME NOT MILEAGE.

KELLEY BLUE BOOK PRIVATE PARTY EXCELLENT  $21090.00
KELLEY BLUE BOOK TRADE IN VALUE EXCELLENT $18930.00

ONLY REASON I AM SELLING IS BECAUSE WE WANT A CAR WE CAN ENJOY WITH OUR KIDS. SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH ROOM FOR THE FOUR OF US IN THIS CAR SO WE RARELY USE IT. TIME FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO ENJOY IT. GOOD LUCK, EMAIL WITH QUESTIONS. THIS CAR IS LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. DELIVERY COULD BE ARRANGED AT BUYERS EXPENSE BY A THIRD PARTY CARRIER. ALL FUNDS MUST BE CLEARED BY BANK PRIOR TO CAR LEAVING MY POSSESSION. NO EXCEPTIONS WHAT SO EVER! I WOULD PREFER CASH FROM BUYER.

Honda Gear concept explored at Montreal Auto Show

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

Our friends at Autoblog Canada have just come away with a closer look at Honda's surprise Gear Concept at the Montreal Auto Show. The little three-door hatchback is arguably the automaker's first real shot at the North American city car market (the Gear is much smaller than the Fit) and may be an indication that Honda is getting serious about going after Scion on this side of the world after the CR-Z hybrid failed to deliver. Honda says the Gear Concept takes its inspiration from the fixed-gear bicycle scene, and should allow buyers an unprecedented level of customization. Designers also wanted to show that a car can be both fun and practical.
We're all for a compact stylish three door with functional room inside, but given Honda's propensity for draining the personality from its concepts on the way to production (at least the ones that don't look showroom ready), we don't hold much hope for the Gear. You can check out the full press release below for more information.

Half of Chinese car buyers won't shop Japanese over hard feelings

Mon, May 26 2014

The hard feelings between China and Japan is no real secret. Besides modern-day disputes, the two countries have had a long-running enmity that dates back to well before the atrocities of World War II. All things considered, then, it shouldn't be a shock that half of Chinese car buyers wouldn't consider a Japanese car. This survey, conducted by Bernstein Research, found that 51 percent of 40,000 Chinese consumers wouldn't even consider a Japanese car – which, again, isn't really surprising, when you consider stories like this. According to Bernstein, the most troubling thing is the location of these sentiments – smaller, growing cities where the population is going to need sets of wheels. We imagine it wouldn't be as big of an issue in traffic-clogged Shanghai or Beijing, but these small cities are going to become a major focus for automakers. "Nationalistic feelings are an impediment. [Japanese] premium brands will struggle," analyst Max Warburton wrote in a research note, according to The Wall Street Journal. Things will improve for Japanese makes, although China will remain a challenge, with Warburton writing, "the one thing that comes out most clearly is that most Chinese really want a German car. While we expect Japanese brands to continue to recover market share this year, ultimately the market will belong to the Germans." There are a few other insights from the study. According to WSJ, Japanese brands are viewed better than Korean brands, and they're seen as more comfortable than the offerings from Germany or the US, despite the fact that everyone in China apparently wants a German car. This is a tough position for the Japanese makes to be in, as there's really not a lot they can do to win favor with Chinese buyers. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, particularly as the importance of the PRC continues to increase year after year. Honda MC-? prototype

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

Honda is less an automaker, it has been said, and more of a motor company that builds vehicles into which to put its engines. That sort of perspective goes a long way towards explaining the mind-boggling diversity of the company's product lineup. The Japanese industrial giant makes lawnmowers, marine engines, robots... even jet aircraft. It's also one of only a handful of companies that makes both cars and motorbikes. We recently had the chance to sample something that falls in between.
It's called MC-β - shorthand for Micro Commuter Beta, which already tells you it's Honda's second stab at the formula. The first Micro Commuter prototype was announced a year prior and, though marginally larger, struck us as a more complete product than its successor. But it'll likely still be a while before the formula is perfected and put into production, and even then it isn't likely to find its way any time soon to Honda's American showrooms - whether those showrooms are selling cars, bikes or ride-on mowers.
