Cleanest 2001 S2000 out there with over $5000 in recent dealer maintenance. Price is fantastic for the condition of the car, you may find an S2000 out there for a few hundred less but you will be spending at least a few thousand to get it in this condition and you may still not have a maintenance history. I am firm on the price.

Always garaged, dealer maintained and not abused.
No dents, scratches, paint fade, not a single spot of curb rash on any of the 4 original wheels, always garaged and looks like a new car. Interior is perfect, no tears and very clean. 135k miles. Excellent smooth powerful, leak free engine, very smooth shifting transmission with no grinds or issues. Excellent recent brakes, no vibrations. Everything works and is in excellent shape with no issues whatsoever, all tires are good, rear are almost new. Headlights are crystal clear, interior carpet is flawless (Always used rubber mats over the floormats) Car is a Georgia car since new. Carfax available and the carfax price adjustment is +$1,250 over book value. I am the second owner don't want to sell it, but we are building a house and the third car has to go.
The car has the following work with receipts performed in the past few months, all by Honda.
New rear tires - $525.39
New clutch, pressure plate, release bearing - $1498.90
Clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder - $750.00
New OEM top with glass rear window - $2,500.00
Newer air filter, AC filters, brakes.
That's over $5,500 worth of maintenance in the past 7000 miles. This is maintenance you won't have to do with this car, but may have to with other S2000's.

I may consider trading for a track loader to do some land clearing.
Call me with any questions or to see the car.

New Honda Fit ousts Toyota Prius as Japan's top-selling car last month

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

The Toyota Camry may lose its title as the best-selling car in the US next year and the Honda Civic has already managed to outsell the Toyota Corolla to become the top-selling compact in the US, but it looks like the domination woes have just hit Toyota on its own turf. Bloomberg reports that the all-new Honda Fit carries the distinction of being the best-selling car in Japan for October - the Fit's first full month on sale - outselling the popular Toyota Prius and Toyota Aqua (our Toyota Prius C).
Unlike the Camry's 16-year reign on US car sales, Japan's race seems a little tighter with the Fit most recently topping the sales charts in May 2011. Since then, though, the two Toyota hybrids have been the top two cars in for sale in Japan. The US won't get the next-gen Fit until the third quarter of 2014, but this new hatchback should be another solid option for buyers in the increasingly popular subcompact segment.

Honda planning sub-NSX S2000 successor

Tue, 13 May 2014

Nine years separated the arrival of the original Acura NSX and the Honda S2000. By that time, the NSX was closer to the end of its fifteen-year production cycle than it was to its beginning. The latest word has it that not only is Honda planning a successor to the S2000, but it's not about to wait that long after the new NSX arrives before it's rolled out.
While the S2000 was a front-mid-engined roadster, its successor will, according to the latest from Auto Express (which we are taking with a grain of salt), be a mid-engined coupe - closer, in other words, to the NSX than the S2000. Power would come from a more potent version of the 2.0-liter turbo four developed for the upcoming new Civic Type R, possibly as part of a hybrid system derived from Honda's upcoming Formula One powertain to develop over 400 horsepower.
Whether the new sports car would revive the S2000 nameplate, and whether it would wear the Honda or Acura badge in the United States, remain to be seen. As does its potential production site: while the previous S2000 was built at the same Takanezawa plant in Tochigi as the original NSX, the new NSX will be built at the new Performance Manufacturing Center in Marysville, Ohio. The new S660 roadster, meanwhile, is set to be assembled at the same Yachiyo plant in Yokkaichi as the original Honda Beat.

Ugly Moto makes beautiful motorcycle art [w/video]

Thu, 08 May 2014

Ugly Moto is a horrible name for a company that makes such wonderful motorcycle art. The creation of artist Francis Ooi, the company's illustrations focus on some of the iconic racing bikes of the 1960s and 1970s.
The artwork has an elegant simplicity that really makes it pop. It would fit just about anywhere from a home office to the bedroom of a young gearhead. Ooi has completed six illustrations so far covering classic cycles from Honda, Ducati, Yamaha and even Harley-Davidson. According to his site, the Suzuki RGB500 ridden by Barry Sheene will be the next one released. All of the prints are priced at $65 and are limited to 100 copies. They are all about 16.53 inches by 23.58 inches in size.
According to his website, these prints are just a hobby for Ooi and his real career is as the creative director at an ad agency. He creates the illustrations on his Mac, and he estimates that each design with about 800 components and layers takes about a month to complete. You can get idea of the process involved in the time-lapse video below.
