I have been spending the last 3 years working on the interior and audio. I am leaving the car complete and not removing anything to sell. The car is in great condition and really has to be seen to know all the work I have done to the interior. The car has a little over 180k on the odometer. I purchased the car from a honda mechanic who had the water pump changed twice and some other general maintenance. The motor runs great(h22a 5 Speed manual). The car has lowering springs and a camber kit that makes it have a very low stance. It has 17" Wheels with low pro Z rated tires, also including a set of snow tires and steel rims(1 season Use). I installed an AEM Cold Air Intake and an exhaust was installed prior to my purchase. I have a custom molded dash with a 3g 64gb ipad in the dash as the audio unit(very cool). Included is a full audio system with custom sub box. I also installed a concealed radar detector/laser shifter system from escort. Almost the entire car has dynamat, and am also including a clifford two way remote start alarm. I have replace almost all the interior and exterior lighting to LED and HID. The car is very cool and is definitely a show stopper. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. This car would make an awesome early X-mass gift. You can email, call, or text me. I live in Westminster and work in Boulder (M-F). My Pictures were to high a resolution so follow the link to better ones of the car.

Honda HR-V gets early reveal

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

If the Honda HR-V feels awfully familiar to you by now, you're not alone. We've seen it debut in Japanese form (dubbed "Vezel"), caught a prototype in Paris, and Honda first showed us the US-spec version in press-photo form all the way back at the New York Auto Show in April. We're finally going to get all the details on Honda's new subcompact crossover this week as part of the Los Angeles Auto Show, but first, we're getting an early look at the CUV today.
We met the Honda HR-V for a cup of coffee this morning at Randy's Donuts just outside of Los Angeles, and got our first look at the new CUV in the metal. It's a handsome little thing, offering a higher-riding, more butch alternative to the Fit hatchback on which it's based. We particularly like how the rear door handles are integrated into the pillars, for an almost three-door look from some angles.
Technical details are still scarce as of this writing, though we expect those to be revealed during Honda's press conference on Wednesday. For now, we just know that the HR-V should be an incredibly practical little thing, using the Magic Seat system that has made the Fit such a versatile and capacious subcompact. Stay tuned for more, and see the HR-V from all angles in our live gallery, above.

'Car Wars' says Ford, Honda to pick up share, Fiat-Chrysler ambitions downplayed

Sat, 14 Jun 2014

Don't look for a tremendous shifts in automotive market share over the next three years because it might not be coming. That's at least according to the annual Car Wars report by John Murphy, from Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Research.
In the report's analysis of automakers' market share from 2013 to 2017, it predicts only small changes among the major companies. Ford and Honda see the biggest positive effect with an estimated 0.5 percent increase in their shares over the next three years; to 16.2 percent and 10.3 percent respectively. On the flip side, European automakers and Nissan are expected to lose 0.2 percent each to fall to 8.3 percent and 7.8 percent each respectively. The rest of the industry is predicted to hold steady as it is now.
The biggest loser in that prediction might be Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles. The report certainly throws a wet blanket on its plan for significant gains in market share. Murphy told The Detroit News that the company's goal was "almost unattainable."

Honda reveals more with Civic Type R concept bound for Paris

Mon, 29 Sep 2014

The reveal of the next-generation Honda Civic Type R has been a gradual one. First Honda showed us a camouflaged prototype, then let us drive one at its Japanese proving ground and followed up with a concept at the Geneva Motor Show. Now with the Paris Motor Show looming on the horizon, it has revealed yet another concept to keep hot-hatch enthusiasts on their toes.
The second Civic Type R concept appears almost identical to the first one - right down to the aggressive aero kit, quad exhaust tips, oversized wheels and ultra-low-profile rubber - but wears a new coat of Superman blue with go-fast decals. With its release, however, Honda has confirmed some of the salient details set for the production version.
In the nose sits a 2.0-liter turbo four with 276 horsepower and a 7,000-rpm redline, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Adaptive dampers and a "steer axis" system promise to keep the power under control, while a push of the +R button tightens up the suspension, steering and torque mapping.
