Up for sale is a 1997 Honda Prelude that has been in the family since 1998. It was originally an automatic but my father had a manual professionally installed before he gave it to me. The car was given to me in 2007 and the first thing i did was have the suspension bushings replaced with an energy suspension bushing kit along with skunk 2 lowering springs 2''. In 2009 I had the motor rebuilt by JE Import performance. The list is long, here it is. Engine tear down, clean flush, blueprint, balance. 5 angle valve job on B series DOHC head. H22A connecting rods H3D set of four. H22A4 Superdeck Darton sleeves with line hone of main journals and final hone of cylinders. ERL H22A balance Shaft Elimination kit. ERL Engine box. H22A 89mm 11.5:1 Piston set. Cometic Head Gasket 97mm bore .030" thick and ARP head stud kit. OEM timing belt, water pump, oil pump. Skunk 2 stage 2 top end including camshafts, titanium valve spring retainers, adjustable cam gears with exposed timing belt. AC was disabled with shorter serpentine belt! Skunk 2 intake manifold, 440cc injectors, s-100 hondata system p28 prepped obd1 conversion harness, test pipe, apexi ws2 silenced exhaust, dc header, short air intake. Dyno tuned at 222 wheel hp at 8200 rpm. The motor currently has 24,000 miles.
The car was in a minor accident in 2004 but was repaired right away. The car also has minor rust spots on the inner rear fenders that can be easily repaired. The car also needs the rear chambers adjusted in a front end alignment to eliminate inner tread wear. The wear is slight but it is there, has front chambers as well but they don't seem to wear at all. there are about 5 or 6 small dents but excellent condition for all the preludes that i see on the road.
Overall the car is in excellent shape for being 5 years away from classified historic. JE imports mentioned to me that my motor could be turbo charged and handle it fine the way its built with lower boost and the timing and tune readjusted. I have babied the car (never taken past 7500 rpms even though it red lines at 8200. i Love the prelude so much but the time has arrived that i need something more practical sadly spoken. You can contact me at 410-292-3128. Leave me a voice mail or text, i usually do not answer unknown numbers. I will need a certified check for currency transaction. Test drives will be given by me if necessary.

Honda and Acura render their future visions for Shanghai
Mon, 08 Apr 2013With the Shanghai Motor Show coming up later this month, Honda has released a couple of teaser sketches for two concept vehicles that will be making global debuts. Aside from the renderings, there is no information about either the Honda or Acura concept vehicles, but we can tell that both are some sort of utility vehicle, be they of crossover or people-mover variety.
The text for both images indicates that both concepts show future products that will be launched in China, but there is no mention as to what other markets the automaker has planned for these vehicles. In addition to these two concepts, the NSX Concept and 2014 RLX from Acura will make their Chinese debuts, and Honda says it "will display models substantially identical to the mass-production version of the Concept C and Concept S." The Concept C is will be a "middle-class" sedan built for China, and the Concept S, an MPV that will primarily serve China as well.
Honda trademarks ZSX, could be for baby NSX
Thu, Aug 11 2016While there have been many rumors dating back to 2008 about a mid-engined sports car from Honda, last year's report was provided the most detail about what seemed to be a scaled-down version of the NSX hybrid supercar. Honda may have added some fuel to the rumor-fire by recently filing a trademark application for "ZSX," reports Australia's Performance Drive. The trademark application was sent to the European Union Intellectual Property Office late last month and is obviously close to the NSX nomenclature. The Australian outlet also reports that an unnamed source within Honda claims the ZSX, whatever it may be, could be revealed as early as next year. The anonymous employee also claims that the ZSX will be offered as a coupe and a hard-top convertible variant, with both being powered by the automaker's 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine from the Honda Civic Type R. Just like the NSX, the ZSX is rumored to get electric motors on the front and rear axles. Previous reports match the unnamed source's claims, as the ZSX was expected to be a replacement for the Honda S2000 that ended production in 2009. It now sounds like it'll be more of a mini-NSX, with rumors pointing towards one electric motor powering the rear wheels, while two motors would be on the front axle. Patents from last year, which are pictured above, match the rumors of a mid-engined sports car. The ZSX trademark is for Europe only as of right now, while the automaker's previous patents and trademarks included the US, as well. Only time will tell if "ZSX" really stands for a sports car, or if Honda actually goes through with its plans. Remember, Nissan ditched similar plans for a small rear-wheel-drive sports car recently. Honda Civic Type R Concept hits the ground running ahead of Geneva debut
Mon, 03 Mar 2014We've seen it teased, caught it testing, hell, we've even driven the thing, but until just now, we hadn't been privy to the visual drama that is the all-new Honda Civic Type R Concept. Thankfully, the day before the start of the Geneva Motor Show is about as leaky as Robert Redford's sailboat.
We'll get the full details tomorrow - which may even include a discourse on Honda's 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that will make upwards of 280 horsepower and propel the car to Nürburgring-record-braking velocities. After all, the "Concept" portion of most Honda concept cars is generally lip-service only.
In fact, save for those blacked out windows and, perhaps, a couple millimeters of ride height and those extra-aggro wheels, we pretty much expect the production Type R to look like the beast you see here. Certainly the swooping form and 'roided wheel arches suit the boy-racer persona of the Civic very well; we wouldn't even put it past Honda's funky European arm to sell the final product with some version of that bi-plane wing.
