Ex-l 3.5l Navegation, Dvd Am/fm/6cd/mp3/wma Audio W/xm Satellite on 2040-cars
Woodbridge, Virginia, United States
This is my families third car, only used for long trips on our vacations, hardly ever used in traffic, it was bought with a service plan in the dealer, all records can be requested, everything has been done in the dealer, even the cab filters!! I have five head sets that work with the DVD player that has never been used, new Michelins, less than 2K miles on them, I still have maintenance and warranty paid for in the dealer until June this year. Navegation, DVD, headphones are a plus in this van, drives as good as my Mercedes! Perfect car for the family, only selling it because I dont have anymore parking space.
///...///All Odysseys get a 3.5L V6, the same engine that's in Honda's Ridgeline. On the base Odyssey, it puts out 244 horsepower and 240 lb-feet of torque, and is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. The Odyssey features plenty of minivan comfort features such as dual sliding doors, a retractable center tray table, and beverage holders galore. Remote keyless entry is standard, as is a folding third-row seat, which Honda calls "Magic Seat" because it folds into the floor with one smooth motion. Safety features include anti-lock brakes and side-impact air bags with a roll-over sensor. The upgraded EX model motorizes the dual sliding doors and adds a second-row "Plus-One" removable seat to increase the passenger capacity to eight. Tri-zone climate control is also part of the package. On the EX-L and Touring models, Honda adds variable cylinder management technology, which turns off three cylinders at cruising speed. The EX-L model's i-VTEC variable valve timing system doesn't increase power output, but the torque does come on slightly sooner, improving engine response. The Odyssey is no sports car, but at 8.6 seconds to 60 mph, it merges like a smaller car.The EX-L utilizes an active noise cancellation system that uses the vehicle's stereo to cancel wind and road noise in order to create an even quieter ride. A power sunroof, leather seat trim and steering wheel, are also upgrades included on the EX-L. |

Honda, Acura recall Ridgeline, Accord, MDX, TLX for various fuel pump issues
Fri, Feb 15 2019Honda and Acura have issued two separate fuel pump-related recalls for Ridgeline pickups, as well as Accord and TLX sedans, and MDX SUVs. Affected Ridgelines could have an increased risk of fire, while the Accord, TLX, and MDX could potentially stall out while driving. According to NHTSA campaign No. 19V053000, Honda is recalling 106,683 2017-2019 Ridgelines because the fuel pump feed port could crack when exposed to certain acids, including car wash soaps. If it cracks, it could leak pressurized fuel, which could catch fire. Vehicles with this defect are subject to a free fuel pump replacement, as well as an extra fuel pump cover. The second recall, campaign No. 19V060000, affects 437,032 2016-2018 MDX, 2015-2019 TLX, and 2015-2017 Accord models equipped with 3.5-liter V6 engines. According to Honda, fuel particulates could stick to internal components of the fuel pump. This could potentially slow down the fuel pump and hinder performance, which could cause the engine to sputter and stall. Honda dealers will update the fuel injection engine control unit software and/or replace the fuel pump, if needed. If you want to know if your vehicle is included in one of these recalls, contact your Honda or Acura dealer, call the NHTSA hotline at 1-888-327-4236, or visit safecar.gov. Related Video:
Weekly Recap: Car-pedestrian crashes remained elevated in 2014
Sat, Feb 28 2015The death of American Horror Story: Freak Show star Ben Woolf served as a reminder this week that car crashes involving pedestrians remain a problem, and a new study issued on Thursday reinforced that the situation isn't really getting better. The Governors Highway Safety Association found a slight decline, 2.8 percent, in the number of pedestrian deaths in the first six months of 2014. Fatalities dropped from 2,141 to 2,125 compared with the same period in 2013, though the association says it's a statistical wash when factoring in undercounting. Deaths are still 15-percent higher than in 2009. "The number of deaths remains relatively high and is cause for concern," wrote Allan Williams, who compiled the report and is the former chief scientist at the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. This is the first look at data from last year, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will issue its full-year results later. The GHSA found some progress on the roadways, as 24 states and the District of Columbia reported drops in pedestrian deaths. In some states, the problem isn't even a problem at all: Nebraska and Wyoming reported one fatality apiece, though large population centers in urban areas are where most accidents occur. "This is a clearly a good news, bad news scenario," Jonathan Adkins, GHSA executive director, said in a statement. "While we're encouraged that pedestrian fatalities haven't increased over the past two years, progress has been slow." Other News & Notes Cadillac previews CT6 during Oscars Cadillac previewed its upcoming flagship sedan, the CT6, in commercials that aired Sunday during the Oscars. As expected, the creased sedan carries on Cadillac's recent design language, and the car in the commercial looks like a larger version of the CTS and ATS sedans. The CT6 will be revealed this spring at the New York Auto Show and launch late this year. It will be assembled at General Motors' Detroit-Hamtramck factory on a rear-wheel-drive chassis, and the CT6 is the first car to use Cadillac's revised alpha-numeric naming scheme. The commercials also kicked off Cadillac's "Dare Greatly" campaign, which is the first with its new advertising agency, Publicis Worldwide. Honda unexpectedly changes CEOs Honda unexpectedly announced this week that it will change CEOs. Current chief Takanobu Ito will step down in June and be replaced by company veteran Takahiro Hachigo.
Honda Vision XS-1 Concept looks like a sportier Vezel [w/video]
Wed, 05 Feb 2014We've talked a lot about the Honda Vezel over the past few months, as the Autoblog staff is looking forward to the Fit-based CUV. It's a handsome little vehicle, that we think will do quite well when it finally arrives in the US market. That said, it's not a particularly exciting vehicle to look at.
Along with the appearance of the Mugen-tuned Vezel at the Tokyo Auto Salon, though, a new concept that's being shown by Honda today at India's Delhi Auto Expo has us hopeful for a Vezel that looks a bit more assertive. It's called the Vision XS-1 Concept, and it's a seven-passenger (yes, seven) crossover that features minivan-style sliding doors. It sports Honda's "Exciting H Design," which is the same design philosophy used by the stylists that penned the new Fit. Unfortunately, at the moment, Honda has provided exactly zero details about what powers its new concept.
As a concept for the Indian market, which is home to some of the tightest, most congested roads on the planet, the stylish XS-1 is meant to demonstrate that Honda knows a thing or six about building compact vehicles. In that regard, we think it's a spot-on piece of work. Let us know what you think of it in Comments, but first, have a look up top for a gallery of images and then scroll down for a brief video and the official press release from Honda.
