2010 Honda Odyssey Ex Handicap Wheelchair Lift Ramp Van Vmi Northstar 19k Miles! on 2040-cars
Fort Worth, Texas, United States
2010 Honda Odyssey…..only 19K miles.
Up for sale is a '10 Odyssey EX handicap van. The van has all the features you need like power windows, mirrors, locks, seats, dual climate control, power sliding doors, 6 disc CD changer, rear heat and air, keyless entry, outside temp monitor, and much more. Patrick (309)-261-4340 VMI did the handicap wheelchair conversion. This is the best in the industry with an in-floor ramp. The floor has been lowered 10" from the back seat all the way up to the firewall so a wheelchair could ride up front or even drive. The ramp being in the floor makes NO noise going down the road as opposed to a folding door ramp that will chatter or vibrate. All the tie downs are included with the van to secure a wheelchair as well. Call me anytime (309)-261-4340 I am willing to add in the power chair to the sale of the van as well if anyone needs it. The previous owner said it will do just about everything including going into the standing position. The only thing she did say is the batter is weak/bad on it b/c she did not keep a charge on it since her husband passed. I don't know a lot about the chair except for the fact that they are expensive! Call day or night (309)-261-4340 The van runs and drives great. The inside is very clean as well as the outside. There are no odors, smells, pets, no accidents, no mechanical issues with the van at all. There are a couple light scratches on the ground effects (like most acquire in their life). It had been serviced and sold new in Dallas at the mobility store its whole life. Check out all the pictures and please ask if you need anymore at all. Call me right now! (309)-261-4340 Shipping is available, just call for a quote. I could always pick you up from the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport anytime. Texas buyers are subject to 6.25% sales tax. All buyers are responsible for paying VIT (vehicle inventory tax mandated by the state) of 0.002365% and a $50 doc fee. Patrick (309)-261-4340 Thanks for looking! |

2015 Honda Fit
Wed, 09 Apr 2014The last time we left our subcompact hero, the plucky Honda Fit was getting a bit long in the tooth. But the second-generation model was still holding its own rather well, and for the enthusiast on a tight budget who wanted it all, it remained the car of record in its class. If you desired an endlessly practical and reliable little hatch that was fun to drive, it didn't get much better than the Fit. Even with nearly every competitor having been fully freshened since the model's introduction in 2009, the Honda managed to fight off also-ran status simply because of how incredibly functional and great to drive it was. Long story short: we loved this car.
Of course, there were a few caveats to the Fit's superhero status. It wasn't particularly fuel efficient, only mustering up, at best, 33 miles per gallon on the highway in a segment where 40-mpg quickly became the new benchmark. What's more, its onboard technology and infotainment was seriously showing its age. While we'd praise the Fit's behind-the-wheel goodness all day long, this shining beacon of great steering and suspension tuning never proved to be all that wonderful for long-distance highway cruising.
Now, say hello to the 2015 Fit, hitting dealerships this spring. Worry not - it's still clever as ever from a packaging standpoint, and comes fitted with lots of newness both inside and out. It's a far more competitive vehicle than its predecessor, and has everything it takes to fight even the toughest of classmates. But just as before, our recommendation doesn't come without a few caveats.
Honda ending CR-Z, Insight sales in Europe
Fri, Feb 21 2014Death by diesel? That may be the epitaph of the Honda Insight and CR-Z in Europe, where the Japanese automaker will discontinue sales of the two hybrid models before to the 2015 model-year. A Honda spokesman confirmed the discontinuation to Automotive News, and information on those models has been taken off of Honda's official websites in Germany, Spain and Italy. The European embrace of all things diesel and fuel efficient as well as competition from Toyota are the primary culprits. The cancellation is not a surprise. Insight sales in Europe fell a whopping 62 percent last year while CR-Z sales there plunged 66 percent. Combined, both models sold less than 2,000 units in Europe last year, Automotive News says, citing JATO Dynamics. Honda is having trouble moving the Jazz Hybrid (also known as the Fit) in Europe as well. European sales declined about 40 percent last year to around 4,500 units. Those numbers compare rather unfavorably to a 43 percent surge in Toyota's hybrid sales in Europe to about 153,000 units. The Insight may face the same fate in the US. Last year, US Insight sales fell 18 percent to 4,802 units, a small, small challenge to the more than 234,000 Toyota Prius variants sold in the US in 2013. Honda has not made an official statement on the Insight's fate here, but the sales are speaking for themselves. Honda and Mario Andretti cite pedestrians for excessive slowness
Thu, 05 Jun 2014Honda and the Andretti family have a lot to celebrate at the moment. Andretti Autosport driver Ryan Hunter-Reay won the 2014 Indianapolis 500 in his Honda-powered car, and Marco Andretti, Mario's grandson, also managed to take the third step on the podium. Apparently, the victory is making them feel magnanimous because Honda and Mario Andretti are giving the chance to ride with him in a two-seat, open wheel car.
To promote the contest, they created the Honda Speed Patrol to ticket anyone going too slow. It's an interesting idea, and the chance to ride with Andretti would be the opportunity of a lifetime. Perhaps the biggest shock of the video, though, might be when you realize how short Mario is when you see him milling about in public. Scroll down to watch one of America's most respected racers cite people in Chicago for being too slow.
