Hello....Welcome to the auction of a 2001 Honda Insight 5 speed.
If you are looking for a great running super fuel efficient vehicle at a fair price this is it!!
The reason I am selling this car is because though I am still in the sales industry I am not outside sales. So I do not need a high fuel efficiency car anymore... ( I travel less than 3 miles for work now.)
The EPA fuel estimates are 61 city and 70 highway MPG. It runs and drives 100%, gets great fuel efficiency and is being sold with no reserve.
The 1.0L three cylinder gas/electric engine purrs along without a miss, smoke or fluid leak. The hybrid system is working perfectly. It is charging and assisting as required and the auto stop is working when stopped. No "check engine" or "IMA" warning lights. The battery charges and discharges as it should. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts good has a newer clutch. The steering, suspension and steering are working good as well. Heat is HOT and A/C is COLD!!
The exterior is silver with a few dings and scratches but nothing major (see video below). The lights and lenses are crack free. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 40% tread and the aluminum rims aren't near perfect but function well.
The interior is in good condition. There are no stains however the driver seat has the typical wear spot on the side and there is a wear spot on the driver carpet. All the power options such as windows, side mirrors. It had a Kenwood stereo but it was removed prior to this sale. The dash has a spot in the center (see video) that blocks a little of the viewing but its been the same way since I bought it years ago and I don't find it troubling.
With the amount of $$$$ this car will save you on fuel especially with the low miles for the year...it'll pay itself off very quickly!
Highlight and paste the link below for a video of the car!

This car will be sold in the intercontinental US only!
Feel free to ask any questions you might have.
*REMEMBER: YOU BID, YOU WIN, YOU BUY!
THANKS!!!

2015 Honda Fit earns 5 Stars from NHTSA
Tue, Feb 3 2015Honda's emergency redesign of the new Fit's front end not only had a positive effect on its scores from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety – it recorded a Top Safety Pick after being retested – but it helped the compact hatch record an impressive NCAP five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Those are two significant achievements for the Fit, and surprise, surprise, the Honda was quick to tout the news. "The Fit shows that owning a smaller car doesn't mean you need to skimp on space, comfort or crashworthiness," said Honda's VP of auto operations Art St. Cyr. "Honda's commitment to the safety of our customers and other road users is second to none, and the Fit demonstrates this commitment in a powerful way."
