Up for auction is a 2006 Honda Element LX AWD. I bought this vehicle about two months ago as my daily driver but have realized that I personally prefer a truck. It is blue with blue/grey interior and is in very good condition. I replaced the drive belt, air filter, cabin filters and had the oil & oil filter changed. This dude is very clean! The Michelin tires are in like new condition. It has a Pioneer DEH-X6500BT radio/cd player that comes with a remote and bluetooth capability. The 2.4 DOHC i-vtec 4 cyl. engine runs great and has a ton of power. The automatic  transmission shifts perfectly like it should. This model is equipped with all wheel drive; you'll appreciate that when it's slick out or just on a rainy day. 

If you've had an Element you don't need any convincing on how neat and practical these vehicles are for hauling kiddos and accessories around. I ride bicycles and can fit either my road bike or mtb in the cargo area with the back seats harnessed up (yes the back seats are stadium seats that will fold and lock along the back walls to allow you to haul whatever). It's a very neat design. 
There are a couple minor flaws that prevent me from saying it's in excellent condition. There is a small spot on the windshield where it looks like a little rock must have hit it. It could be repaired easily but it's not very noticeable. There is a small dent on the front hood which doesn't show up in photos enough, but I'll be glad to get a close up if you're interested. There is also a small scratch on the passenger side that looks like it would buff out fairly easy.

Honda CR-V updated for 2015

The CR-V was first introduced way back in the mid-90s, but Honda has done a good job of keeping it fresh. Now four generations in, the CR-V has been replaced every four or five years. And though the latest version just arrived on the scene a couple of years ago, Honda's giving it a refresh for the 2015 model year.
We've already spied these changes, but now, the Japanese automaker has officially released the image you see above, showing the updated 2015 CR-V with some cosmetic enhancements. The chrome bar at the bottom of the grille integrates smartly with the LEDs outlining the projector-beam headlights, capping a reshaped front bumper with new fog lamps.
Of course, the wheels and mirror caps have been redone as well, but we'll have to wait until Honda releases the full monte to see what the new CR-V looks like around back, inside and under the hood. All Honda is confirming at the moment is that the revised styling "portends the significant enhancements made to the 2015 CR-V" and that it will release further information on September 30 before the updated model goes on sale October 1, so watch this space for more.

Acura organizes new business division to confront falling sedan sales

Honda and Acura North America have announced a major restructuring of operations in hopes of turning around Acura's flagging business. For 2013, sales for Acura's sedans dropped 10.4 percent, while its CUV sales grew by 21 percent. The newly formed Acura Business Planning Office will attempt to right the ship.
As part of the restructuring, Acura is promoting Erik Berkman from President of Honda R&D Americas to lead a new division called the Acura Business Planning Office. Berkman has been with Honda since 1982 and led development of the 2006 Accord. He was also the first US engineer to head North American research and development and has been head of Honda Performance Development since 2008. "Erik's appointment to the new Acura Business Planning Office is a clear indication of the high priority we place on Acura," said Honda spokesperson Jeffrey Smith to Automotive News.
American Honda Motor President and CEO Tetsuo Iwamura is also going to be working to improve the business. He has been elected chairman of American Honda's board, and has simultaneously taken the new position of Corporate Brand Officer to improve the management of the company's brands.
