MECHANICAL:
Sporty, 33 mpg economical, and Honda reliable Si Vtech engine. 4spd Overdrive Automatic Transmission.
Runs and drives literally perfect.
NO abnormal noises, NO leaks, NO squeeks, NO hiccups, NO smoke, etc.
Runs quiet and smooth as an 83k mile Honda should.
4 Nearly new (90% plus) matching Uniroyal tires, and Interstate battery.
Tracks down the road perfectly strait and smooth. Let go of the steering wheel and stays strait at all speeds. Brakes great too.
Fully functional climate control system with cold A/C and hot heat. All gauges, switches, lights, features, etc work perfect.
The car literally runs and drives like new. Only reason I don't rate it a 10/10 is due to the "SRS" light being on in the instrument cluster (must be a loose wire or connection, etc) and the radio antenna does not go down (have not looked into-except I don't notice any noise at all so maybe it's not even hooked up).

FEATURES:
Loaded with A/C, power windows/locks/mirrors, keyless entry alarm, dual airbags, cruise control, AM/FM Cassette (good for tape adapter to plus into your MP3 or Phone for music), factory leather seats, rear storage compartments behind seats, center armrest car charger port, etc. Best feature of all is the stowable Targa top. All seals are like new, NO leaks! ALL features work perfectly too (Cruise, windows/locks, etc).

COSMETIC: Exterior
Phenomenal condition. You'll be hard pressed to find a dent, ding, or scratch on this car. It's literally a car that you could put in a showroom it's so clean and damage free. The paint is original and very deep and slick with a mirror finish that's obviously been well preserved. All glass/lights/lenses/moldings/etc are in excellent condition as well. Targa top and winows do NOT leak as all the seals are like new still. Engine compartment is free of leaks etc and not been shined up to look artificially new but rather left natural. The front bumper has extremely minor superficial bug damage that's hardly noticeable.

COSMETIC: Interior
Once again, you'll be hard pressed to find a cosmetic flaw. Carpet is stain, tear, and odor free, the leather is in tip top condition with no tears, split seems, etc. Door panels, headliner, dash, plastics, switches, controls, etc are in perfect condition. Only slightly noticeable flaw is the driver seat bolster is very lightly worn from entry and exit of the drivers seat as with practically any cars over 5years old. This can easily be made like new for $20-30 from a professional upholstery dyer. I chose to leave it original to show it's amazing original condition.

HISTORY:
The lucky first owner enjoyed this car until 2004. The 2nd owner has enjoyed it the next 10 years until the day it was traded in at a new car Honda store in Fort Myers, FL. And with just 83k original miles it's a true collector car. Take it out on the weekends or to various car show. All while you watch as it increase in value!

This is not your typical  5spd, 150-200k mile, ragged out modified Honda. VERY RARE to find 100% stock and these insanely low miles in this condition. True diamond in the rough! Though I am a dealer I have put on nearly 1,000 miles on this fun to drive car in less then 5 weeks! It's so fun to drive and economical. But reason I mention is because I can attest to its excellent mechanical condition first hand.

The car is being sold "AS-IS" to the highest bidder. The reserve is low and fair and will be a great deal for the lucky buyer.

PAYMENT:
A $500 deposit is due within 48hrs of auctions end. Remaining payment is due in full 48hrs thereafter. Payment can be made via money order, cashier's check, bank draft, wire transfer, cash in person. If you are a Florida resident I will collect sales tax and tag/title transfer fee of $85. If you're a non Florida resident and plan on driving the car home I collect your county/state tax and report to them it's been paid. You then pay for the tag/title fee's when you get home. If you live out of state and trailer/transport it; I collect no tax, but rather your responsible for tax/tag/title fee's when you go to register is in your home state. These policies are Florida dealer law. I have the free and clear Florida title in hand ready to transfer to the new owner.

I DO NOT charge ANY fee's other then what's been stated above. NO processing fee's, NO dealers fee's, NO prep fee's, etc. Only what you'd pay to DMV/Tax Collector the same as if you purchased a vehicle private party.
If you have any questions to clarify any of this please feel free to call or email with questions. PHONE: (904) 347-5620.

SHIPPING:
100% Buyers responsibility. I'll be glad to be present any day and time of the week to meet you at your convenience if driving in or flying (Jacksonville International Airport is 1hr north) in to pick it up. I'll also be glad to be available any day and time of the week when the transport truck/trailer etc plan to be here to load the car so I can personally see it off properly.

Please contact Matthew at 904-347-5620 anytime.

Honda previews S660 roadster ahead of Tokyo debut

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

Honda isn't known for making convertibles. In fact, legend has it that old man Soichiro banned them from his lineup - but then he also didn't approve of six-cylinder engines, either. There have been exceptions, like the Civic del Sol and S2000, and today Honda has revealed another.
Set to debut at the forthcoming Tokyo Motor Show in late November is the Honda S660 concept, a compact little roadster about which Honda is saying even less. It looks about the size of a Kei car, with a nameplate that suggests a 660cc engine, making it more of a revival for the 1990's Beat than the high-end S2000. And while there are some clear similarities with the EV-STER concept that debuted two years ago in Tokyo, the S660 looks closer to production-ready, with key features like an actual steering wheel.
Of course, whether the S660 makes production, and beyond that makes it off of the Japanese islands and across the Pacific to US showrooms, is another matter, but we could see something like this taking the fight to the Mazda MX-5 and even the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ if it did.

Honda Fit, Vezel Hybrids recalled in Japan; US vehicles not affected

Tue, Feb 11 2014

Honda has announced a good-sized recall of two popular Japanese-market hybrids: the Fit Hybrid and the Vezel Hybrid are both headed back into the garage. The problem this time around lies in the software program that controls the 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) that could "cause a delay in the ability to begin driving or the inability to move at all." In total, 81,353 units are affected (70,929 Fit Hybrids and 10,424 Vezel Hybrids) and all were made in Japan between July 2013 and February 2014. There were two previous recalls for the new Fit Hybrid's DCT, and you can find the details of them below. Jessica Fini, assistant manager of PR for Honda North America, told AutoblogGreen that this recall will not have any impact on US Honda vehicles. For one thing, the US Fit has a continuously variable transmission (CVT) instead of a DCT, so the upcoming launch of the new Fit here (the US doesn't get the Fit Hybrid) will not be delayed. Honda's upcoming small SUV in the US (based on the Vezel, but will arrive with a different name) isn't going to launch here until the end of the year, so there is time to fix any problems before launch. She also said that the Acura RLX, despite being a DCT, does not use the same transmission as the Fit Hybrid does, since the Fit transmission is specific to the one-motor hybrid system and the RLX uses three electric motors. Recall of All-New Fit Hybrid and Vezel Hybrid ref. # C14-009 TOKYO -- February 10, 2014 – Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today announced a voluntary recall of the all-new Fit Hybrid and Vezel Hybrid produced in Japan from July 2013 through February 2014 due to a problem with the software program controlling the 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) which could cause a delay in the ability to begin driving or the inability to move at all. Honda today notified the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of the recall with a total recall population of 81,353 units. Honda conducted two recalls in October and December 2013 due to a defect with the software program controlling the 7-speed DCT which could have caused a delay in the ability to drive the vehicle or the inability to drive. This will be the third recall related to the defect of the 7-speed DCT.

Race recap: 2016 Belgian Grand Prix is a dozen angry laps

Mon, Aug 29 2016

The calm of the Formula One summer break ended with the tumult of the Belgian Grand Prix. The first two days included unusual tire pressures and grid penalties; Mercedes-AMG Petronas' Lewis Hamilton started 21st because of a 55-place grid penalty for engine and gearbox changes, McLaren's Fernando Alonso started 22nd due to a 60-place penalty for the same offenses. The bedlam rolled right into what was effectively an 11-or 12-lap race. Mercedes driver Nico Rosberg took off from pole and the cameras barely bothered with him until he took the checkered flag 44 laps later. Red Bull's Max Verstappen bogged from second on the grid, got swallowed by Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen on the way to Turn 1, then attempted to recover by sticking his Red Bull's nose between Raikkonen's sidepod and the apex at the first corner. Vettel, who didn't see Verstappen, turned into La Source leaving only enough room for Raikkonen. Three cars don't fit in a space for two cars. Vettel spun, Raikkonen and Verstappen clobbered one another and all three drivers had to pit for repairs. Force India's Nico Hulkenberg zig-zagged his way into second ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo, Williams' Valtteri Bottas, and Sergio Perez in the second Force India. On Lap 6 Kevin Magnussen lost his Renault at Raidillon at the top of Eau Rouge and flew backward into an enormous crash. Magnussen escaped with just a cut ankle. The Safety Car paraded the field for four laps before officials red flagged the race to repair the barriers. When racing resumed on Lap 10, Rosberg led Ricciardo, Hulkenberg, Alonso, and Hamilton. Ricciardo stayed ahead of Hamilton to keep second place at the end of the race, Hamilton easily got around Alonso and Hulkenberg to lock up third. Hulkenberg – who'd given up second to Ricciardo by pitting during the Safety Car period – earned another career-best fourth position ahead of teammate Perez in fifth, followed by Vettel and Alonso on recovery drives, Bottas, Raikkonen, and Felipe Massa taking 10th in the second Williams. Rosberg reignited his Driver's Championship charge with the victory, closing to nine points of leader Hamilton. We could argue that Hamilton had an equally good day by driving from 21st to third, limiting his loss to only 10 points. About that Verstappen, though... We've seen far more experienced drivers attempt the same move Verstappen made into Turn 1 – Raikkonen on Bottas in Russia in 2015, for instance.
