1997 Honda Civic Del Sol Si Coupe 2-door 1.6l on 2040-cars
Saint Louis, Missouri, United States
((($500 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours after the end of the auction))).
1997 Honda Civic Del Sol Si, un-molested one with less to no mods. It has a factory spoiler. Only 102K original miles, the owner before me had it for 16 years. It is the Si version with the D16Y8 engine. Aftermarket with remote CD/MP3/AM/FM player , Power steering, tilt, cruise control, power windows and mirrors, aftermarket keyless entry, AC and Heater work perfectly. All instruments on the dash are working, no check engine light. No overheating. Alloy wheels and good tires. Small (1.6 L) engine that gives 28-35 MPG. VIN# JHMEH626XVS000987 The miles will go up slightly because I drive the vehicle on a daily basis. General walk-around from a cold start, it was negative 10. Windows after car is warmed up. Test drive 1 on a low speed. Test drive 2 on a high speed.
Recent maintenance: - Timing belt done 1K ago ( yes I have the sticker on the belt cover as a proof) at 100K miles. - Front brake pads and rotors at 82K miles. - Radiator hoses ( lower and upper ) and thermostat at 101K miles. - Front passenger axle shaft assembly at 95K miles. - Battery at 95K miles. I have a bunch of receipts and invoices for these repairs. It comes with a current MO safety and emission at 101900 miles so you know it passed safety and emission. Clear car fax ( in hand ) with no accidents and clean MO title with my name in hand. Little surface rust spots above the rear wheels. Two big tears spots on the driver seat and the antenna for the radio is broken. Has some parking lot dings in the fenders, front bumper and rear quarters and couple paint chips. No leak or burning of any kind, it runs very strong. Top gaskets and rubber are in a perfect shape, no leaks from the hard-top. Got it currently to replaced my wrecked stick shift like a week ago but automatic transmission is not my thing, selling it to buy a stick shift. NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors
Wed, 22 Oct 2014
Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.

Minnesota tinkerer selling off 500-plus motorcycles, dirt bikes and scooters
Tue, Sep 17 2019For 25 years, Tony Joslyn's entire life has orbited around motorcycles. After getting into bikes at an early age, Joslyn turned his passion into Road Rash, a salvage house where Joslyn would buy and sell two-wheelers and their parts. He wasn't picky with his workings, either, as he has accrued motorcycles across a huge range of decades and brands. And now it's all up for sale. Suzukis, Yamahas, Harley-Davidsons, Hondas, Kawasakis, and more from the '60s, '70s, '60s, '90s, and '00s are all currently listed on K-Bid.com. There is a variety of size, styles, colors and setups, and a press release says most of the bikes are 'complete and ready for restoration or a tuneup." For Joslyn, the collection just became too much to deal with after all these years. "It's time to clear the herd and slow down," Joslyn said in a release. "Once it starts to feel like a job, you lose some of the joy. I'm looking forward to getting back to working a few motorcycles now and then. ... It's hard to pick a favorite out of the collection, as I am partial to all of them, but I've always enjoyed the Kawasaki 3-cylinders." The bikes are located in Clarks Grove, Minnesota, directly south of Minneapolis roughly near the Iowa border. Interested parties can visit and inspect the bikes before purchasing, and there's plenty of time to do so. Open now, the auction will close October 2, 2019. This content is hosted by a third party.
