1993 Honda Civic Del Sol S-gas Saver-automatic Transmission-excellent Condition on 2040-cars
Hamilton, Alabama, United States
This fun to drive car is a rare hard to find car and it's beautiful and is eye catching. Even though the miles are kind of high you wouldn't know it from the way it handles and drives so good it feels like driving a brand new car. It has no leaks, doesn't smoke, theirs no cracks in the windshield or any of the glass. It gets around 37 miles per gallon. Automatic transmission shifts perfectly. This is a good car for a collector or someone that just wants to drive the car everyday or just anyone. I do reserve the right to end the auction early since I have it for sale locally as well. Paint on the car is in mint condition and no rust on the car anywhere. Anyone with a questions please send a message through ebay or call or text my phone number is 205-570-1035, my name is Mark. This car has been well maintained and taken very good care of. This Del Sol also has a nice car stereo system in it it's a Clarion AM/FM radio and CD player with 4 Pioneers speakers. Recent work I had done just this week was a new head gasket and spark plugs. New distributor. New timing belt and tensioner. I also changed oil and transmission fluid. This is a dependable and reliable car. Anyone that would like to come and see the car is very welcome to do so. New speed sensor which that got the engine light off that was on the gauges. This is a no reserve auction so the highest bidder wins. Thank you for looking.

Honda Recalling 900,000 Odyssey Minivans
Mon, Mar 17 2014DETROIT (AP) - Honda Motor Co. is recalling 886,815 Odyssey minivans in the U.S. because a fuel pump cover can deteriorate and cause a fuel leak. Odysseys from 2005 through 2010 model years are involved. The recalled minivans were made between June 23, 2004, and September 4, 2010. According to documents posted Saturday by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the cover on the fuel pump strainer can wear down from exposure to high temperatures and acidic chemicals, like those found in fertilizers. Fuel leaks can cause a vehicle fire. Honda says no fires or injuries have been reported. Honda dealers will repair the vehicles for free, but the company says replacement parts may not be available until this summer. It will notify owners of the recall next month. Honda, Nissan and Mazda recalling 3 million vehicles for airbag inflators
Mon, 23 Jun 2014Three million more vehicles can be added to the worldwide tally to be repaired for the faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata. Honda, Nissan, and Mazda have all issued recalls to replace the bad part, including about 1.2 million of them in North America. NHTSA has been investigating all three companies, plus Chrysler and Toyota, for potentially affected vehicles.
Honda is recalling roughly 1.02 million Civic, CR-V, Odyssey and Element models In North America, built between April 2000 and October 2002. Mazda needs to repair 14,794 units of the RX-8 and Mazda6, and Nissan has 228,000 vehicles in North America to be fixed.
Chrysler is also starting what it calls a "regional field action" to replace the inflators in the 2006 Dodge Charger, according to a company spokesperson. The company says that it has not yet found the problem in any of its vehicles, but it's being done "out of an abundance of caution." The final number of Chargers affected will be announced later this week.
2014 Honda Odyssey set to clean up in NY with world's first in-car vacuum
Tue, 26 Mar 2013Much of the minivan segment's volume has been sucked up by the industry's ever-increasing appetite for crossovers, but a few major players are hanging in there, eager to serve as beasts of burden for America's families. Chief among those players is Honda, which is showing its revamped 2014 Odyssey at this week's New York Auto Show with a potential game-changing feature - an in-car vacuum.
Co-developed with Shop-Vac, the HondaVAC system will come standard on the range-topping Touring Elite model. The system includes a replaceable filter and canister bag, along with a range of attachments located in the cargo hold. Honda says this first-ever feature includes a hose that is long enough to clean the entire interior. Better still, the vacuum will run for up to eight minutes after the vehicle is turned off, so you can get every last Cheerio out of the seat cushions, and it never needs plugging in or recharging, as it runs off of the vehicle's electrical system.
In other news, the 2014 Odyssey gets a new aluminum hood and fenders to pair with its revamped grille and lower fascia. Headlamps get a more sinister look thanks to darker surrounds, and there are new LED taillamps out back, as well as revamped side mirrors on the doors. Underneath the skin, Honda says the 2014 Odyssey has received structural changes to help it ace the Insurance Institute For Highway Safety's new small-overlap frontal crash test, and it's also added active safety features like lane departure warning and forward collision warning to the optional features list.
