For sale is a very clean one owner 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid. It is very fuel efficient, has a clean Autocheck and is bring sold with no reserve.

The 1.3L four cylinder electric/gas engine purrs along without a miss or fluid loss. Despite the dash lights, the hybrid system seems to be working. The hybrid battery is charging and assisting as required and the auto stop engages when stopped. The fuel efficient 5 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly with plenty of clutch. The brakes, steering and suspension all seem normal. No exhaust leaks.

The exterior is very clean with no dents or dings. The most noticable blemish is a scrape on the front right spoiler from hitting a parking bumper (see pic). Seems to be common with these cars. The lights and lenses are bright and clear. No windshield chips or cracks. No body rust. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 25% tread (see pic).

The interior is gray carpet and cloth seats. No wear areas, holes or rips in either. There is a factory sound system with CD. The heat is hot and the AC is cold. All the power options such as windows, locks, side mirrors, cruise control, etc. work as designed.

This is a nice Civic hybrid where all systems seem to be working correctly. The new owner will be able to drive home without any problems.

Petition to bring Honda Civic Type R to US picking up steam

Never mind what the executives say - we've had a sneaking suspicion all along that the upcoming Honda Civic Type R won't be coming to North America. And with good reason: both the prototype we drove in Japan and the concept unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last week were based on the European-spec Civic hatchback - not to mention that some of the best hot hatches remain out of our reach.
Well it turns out we're not the only ones with that concern. There are legions of Honda hot hatch enthusiasts right here in the good old U S of A who want to see the new Civic Type R ripping up the Great American Road. And many of them are taking to the cyberclouds demanding that Honda bring it Stateside, post haste.
As of the time of writing, this online petition has gotten over 6,000 digital signatures, needing less than 1,500 more to get to the author's target of 7,500 votes. Of course, if and when the petition reaches its target, that still won't mean that Honda will bring it over, but it could mean that extra bit of encouragement the Japanese automaker's executives would need to tip the scales in our favor.

Honda CR-V named Motor Trend SUV of the Year for 2015

Motor Trend has announced the results of its 2015 SUV of the Year competition, and from a field that included the new Porsche Macan, Cadillac Escalade, Subaru Outback, Chevrolet Suburban and BMW X5, the buff book has awarded the gold calipers to the 2015 Honda CR-V. If that result surprises you just a little, well, get to the back of the line.
MT looked at six different categories ranging from overall design to efficiency - both fuel economy and carbon footprint - to safety and value to pick its winner, singling out the refreshed Honda while paying particular praise to its new 2.4-liter Earth Dreams four-cylinder engine and continuously variable transmission. A tighter steering ratio was also cited as a big source of improvement.
"There was a lot of contentious debate," MT Technical Director Frank Markus told Autoblog, indicating that nearly half the judges approached the final round of voting with an eye towards the redesigned Jeep Cherokee. "This year's field included some pretty fancy and fast iron, but the thoughtful changes made by Honda to hone its best-seller entry in that crowded compact cross-over segment really did the trick."
