Certified 2007 Honda Civic Lx, Very Low Miles, No Accidents on 2040-cars
Wilmington, Delaware, United States
Up for sale is a
Black Certified 2007 Honda Civic LX, 4 door sedan with a Manual Transmission, that is in great condition. I am the second owner of this car. There are 44,000 miles total, which I have put 10,000 in the three years I have owned it. This Civic is accident free, smoke free, very low mileage and in better condition than what you would expect for this year model. The vehicle is certified through June 2014 or 100,000 miles (powertrain). This Civic comes with the reliable 1.8 L 4 cylinder engine. Since I have owned the vehicle I have had oil and filter changed every 3,000 miles (all receipts available for oil changes and services). During these oil changes basic inspections were done on the vehicle and the tires were inspected and rotated as needed, wipers replaced and fluids checked. The tires were new on this vehicle when I purchased it. There is approximately 70% tread life remaining. The paint shines as new. The
interior and exterior of this car are in great condition. You will find only normal wear on this vehicle. I would say that it is in excellent condition for a 2007. No major dings, or scratches, and the windshield is free from cracks or major pitting. On the interior everything works, AC is very cold, and is great condition. The brakes were replaced in August of 2012, so there is plenty of life left in them. Everything on the vehicle works and is in very good condition. It is covered under warranty and welcome any inspections. There are no leaks, or any issues to date that have not been resolved. This was my second vehicle and not a daily driver. It has been very well maintained. Listed below is the vehicle's options and one warranty repair. Power windows,Cd Player,AM/FM radio, Aux cable input, Manual transmission, 43,874 miles, Air conditioning, Cruise control, ABS
brakes, Power mirrors, Side and overhead airbags, 1.8 L Engine, Rear defroster, two keys I received notice there was a recall on the paint on this vehicle, I took it in to local Honda dealer for inspection and they repainted the hood, roof, and trunk deck. There are no current issues with the paint and the dealer/warranty took care of all issues. The vechile was repainted November 2013. There is one small tear in the rear backseat, nothing major. It was there when I purchased the vehicle and it was not something that bothered me and I left as is. I have taken picture of it. Please see my feedback and buy/bid with confidence. Title in hand ready for new owner. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask. The vehicle can be seen by appointment in Wilmington, DE. Shipping is available, you are responsible for quote and pick up. If you can think of anything that I did not touch on
please send me a message. Thank you, |

British Honda CR-V looks tough, gets diesel and 9-speed auto
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Honda just took the wraps off of its thoroughly updated 2015 CR-V for the US, with a touch more style and improved powertrain to provide more torque and better fuel economy. In our First Drive, we found that all of the changes really focused the CUV even more towards the desires of its audience of mostly families. European crossover shoppers don't have to wait too long to see these tweaks for themselves and get a few exclusive upgrades of their own.
While US models get a torquier gasoline engine, Europe loves its diesels. Therefore, the CR-V over there benefits from a more powerful 1.6-liter i-DTEC oil-burner that produces 158 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This new addition is only available on the four-wheel drive version, and it replaces the previous 2.2-liter diesel in the lineup. Also as opposed to the CVT here, there's now an optional nine-speed automatic gearbox across the pond.
According to Honda, the new diesel with a six-speed manual drops emissions by 11 percent compared to its predecessor. Opting for the nine-speed auto makes things 20 percent cleaner in contrast to the previous 2.2-liter CR-V with an auto.
Honda updates Takata airbag recall status for some models
Fri, 07 Nov 2014The net enveloping vehicles in the Takata airbag inflator recall just seems to keep widening. Honda is now updating its previous campaign to revise the status for even more models that were ever registered in (or originally sold in) 13 high-humidity US states and territories.
All of these vehicles were included in the company's earlier repairs. However, at the time this fix was titled "a safety improvement campaign." This latest action upgrades that condition to "a formal recall," according to Honda's official statement. The models include: the 2003-2005 Honda Accord, 2001-2005 Civic (pictured above), 2002-2005 CR-V, 2003-2004 Element, 2002-2004 Odyssey, 2003-2005 Pilot, 2006 Ridgeline, 2003-2005 Acura MDX and the 2005 Acura RL. All of these need to have their passenger-side, front airbag inflator replaced, and the recall affects Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Texas, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Saipan, Guam and American Samoa.
As with the rest of these affected vehicles, it's possible in a collision for the inflator to rupture spraying metal shrapnel at occupants. There are at least 139 injuries attributed to this problem from a variety of automakers so far. Among this latest population of vehicles, Honda says there have been no confirmed injuries or fatalities related to these exploding inflators.
Google's new Android Autos OS unveiled, will be in cars this year [w/video]
Wed, 25 Jun 2014Connected cars are coming en-masse. We know this much. How, though, remains something of an open question, especially as two of the world's largest tech companies are preparing to battle for control of your car's dashboard. On the one hand, we have Apple and its CarPlay system. And now, we know what Google has been working on with Auto Link.
Its new name is Android Auto, and yes, it's based off the Android architecture that is the primary challenger to Apple's iOS mobile operating system. Announced at Google's I/O conference today, Android Auto functions similarly to CarPlay - owners will need to plug their smartphones into their cars to access the full breadth of capability.
In Android Auto's case, that means a wealth of voice controls to limit distracted driving. Google's marquee apps will be available when the interface arrives in production models later this year, including Google Play Music, Google Maps and voice-activated texting and text playback. Meanwhile, developers will be able to begin designing custom apps for the new system via an upcoming software development kit.
