this car runs and you can drive it however it needs some repairs , it needs oil pump replacement, engine is very noisy from top engine due to low oil pressure, oil light is on if its very low idle and turns off when you idle the car. ALSO IT MIGHT NEED A NEW THERMOSTAT SINCE IT OVERHEATS IF DRIVE IT FOR LONG TIME. IT HAS A DENT ON THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE PIC. NOTHING MAJOR. THE POWER WINDOWS WORK FINE BUT THEY NEED ALIGNMENT SINCE THEY DON'T GO ALL THE WAY UP DO TO THEY WENT OUT OF THE RAIL. ALL LIGHTING WORKS FINE, ITS A 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION, TRANSMISSION WORKS GOOD. THE DRIVER SEAT HAS A RIP. SEE PICS. THE CAR RUNS AND YOU CAN DRIVE IT AROUND. IT HAS CLEAN TITLE RECORD. WE LOST THE TITLE BUT WE WILL ISSUE A LOST TITTLE STATEMENT FROM DMV PLUS A BILL OF SALE . THE TAGS ARE PAID BUT IT NEEDS TO GET SMOG TO GET REGISTRATION. THE MILAGE I PROVIDED IS THE ONE SHOWING ON THE DASH HOWEVER I DONT KNOW IF ITS THE REAL ONE OR PREVIOUS OWNER CHANGE THE BOARD.

7 major automakers to build open EV charging network
Wed, Jul 26 2023A new joint venture established by BMW, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz and Stellantis will build a new North American electric vehicle charging network on a scale designed to compete with Tesla's industry-benchmark Supercharger network. The 30,000-plus planned new chargers will accommodate both Tesla's almost-standard North American Charging System (NACS) and existing automakers' Combined Charging System (CCS) options, effectively guaranteeing compatibility with the vast majority of current and upcoming electric models — whether they're from one of the involved automakers or not. "With the generational investments in public charging being implemented on the Federal and State level, the joint venture will leverage public and private funds to accelerate the installation of high-powered charging for customers. The new charging stations will be accessible to all battery-powered electric vehicles from any automaker using Combined Charging System (CCS) or North American Charging Standard (NACS) and are expected to meet or exceed the spirit and requirements of the U.S. National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program." Critically, the automakers involved will have a say in how the charging tech is implemented, guaranteeing that the hardware will play nicely with each automaker's in-house charging systems. Hyundai and Kia, for example, were hesitant to jump on board the Tesla NACS bandwagon earlier this year over concerns that the Supercharger network is insufficient for powering the two automakers' 800-volt charging systems; similar tech is used by Volkswagen and Porsche. In addition to providing much-needed capacity and high-output charging for America's growing fleet of electric cars and trucks, the new network will integrate seamlessly with each automaker's in-app and in-vehicle features, rather than forcing customers to use third-party tools and payment systems, as is the case with some existing public charging infrastructure. "The functions and services of the network will allow for seamless integration with participating automakersÂ’ in-vehicle and in-app experiences, including reservations, intelligent route planning and navigation, payment applications, transparent energy management and more. In addition, the network will leverage Plug & Charge technology to further enhance the customer experience," the announcement said.
Acura introduces a sleeker self-driving test car
Wed, May 18 2016As we creep ever closer to an autonomous-car future, one thing is for certain, most of the driverless cars we see being tested look hideous thanks to all the sensors strapped to the roof. Today Acura introduced its second generation Automated Acura RLX Development Vehicle with updated sensors and a more pleasing aesthetic. Gone is the spinning LIDAR system replaced with a more compact and robust version of the light detection and ranging technology. It's also got updated RADAR, camera, GPS and higher performance GPUs and CPUs as well as what Acura is calling "more intelligent software algorithms to support more complex testing scenarios." Acura and its parent company Honda have been testing autonomous cars at its GoMentum Station in the Bay Area since last year with a specially outfitted RLX (shown in the video above with the spinning LIDAR system). This new car will replace that vehicle. This article by Roberto Baldwin originally ran on Engadget, the definitive guide to this connected life. Honda Insight finally, officially dead
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Earlier this week, we told you that the Honda Insight was scheduled to get the axe - something that had been rumored for a long time. Now, Honda has officially confirmed that the Insight is being put out of our its misery. That's right, America's most affordable mass-produced hybrid will officially die after the 2014 model year, with production scheduled to end this summer. Honda says that, moving forward, it will focus its efforts on expanding its newer two-motor hybrid system found in the Accord. Of course, this news doesn't exactly give us much hope for the CR-Z hatchback's longevity, either. Scroll down for the official release.
